From the moment he laid his gaze on her, his body warred with his mind.
His eyes, holding total anger at the scene in front of him.

Slowly, he clenched his fists as he stood in front of the cell, staring down at the blonde haired girl sitting on the filthy floor, sobbing.

She had her back leaned against the wall, her head in between her knees and hiccups sounds gasping out of her throat as she continues to sob.

He was enraged at the situation he found her in.

Seeing his beloved locked up in a foul-smelling cell, infested with rats and cockroaches that crawl over the prisoners at night.

He wanted to break down the damn bars, take her into his arms and hide her from this predicament.

But he couldn't do anything, not when the Pharaoh's mother has accused her for plotting to kill the queen.

He took a deep breath and stepped towards the iron door, clutching the iron bars with both of his hands, his gaze never leaving her.

Nefert.. He whispered and Niall lifted his face from his knees at the sound of the General's voice.

He sniffles, wiping his tears with the back of his hand to clear his blurry vision. His blue eyes widened with hope when he saw the gentle smile on the General's lips.

Quickly he stood up from the ground and runned towards the iron bars then a silent sob escapes his lips as he stood face to face with the General, secretly wishing he could throw himself into his arms to seek comfort.

But he couldn't, not when these cursed bars are separating them.

The General reached through the bars with his hand and touched Niall's face, his hand lingering on his cheek as he examined his reflection.

He frowned when he noticed Niall's stained cheeks, his swollen eyes and messy hair.

Niall sniffles again and the General wiped the tears running down his cheeks with his thumb, no words were spoken, only silence between them as they stare into each other's eyes.

"I will never hurt Harry. He is my best friend, I can never hurt him" Niall cried and lowered his eyes to his hands, tying to hide his tears.

The General's body completely froze
at Niall's revelation. Only the Pharaoh, the Queen and himself knows Nefertari's real name. In fact, nobody knows Nefertari is from the future. The entire kingdom believes the gods revived her when she died.

Rameses Zayn, the Queen and himself had vowed never to speak on the matter when Harry arrived in their realm.

So how in the world was Nefert able to the know Nefertari's real name when the Queen had warned Nefertari not to reveal her true identity to anyone and wait, did his mistress say she is Nefertari's best friend?

"I-I'm from the future" Niall blurted out interpreting the General's thoughts.

He realized it was wise to tell the General everything now then later. He knew what happens to people who have been accused for such predicament, especially against a royal like Harry.

He could be mutilated, drowned, decapitated or even mummified alive like Merenre Louis.

The General eyes widened and was taken aback by his mistress confession. He stared at Niall with astonished eyes.

"I'm from the future" Niall repeated looking up at the General.

The General slowly dropped his hand from Niall's cheek and blinked his eyes rapidly limadha 'ant huna? (Why are you here?) He asked.

"I came here to take Harry back home, to where he belongs"

Niall took a deep breath before narrating everything to the General including Harry's dreams, their trip to Egypt, how Harry disappeared then later how he got to know his best friend disappearance was linked to the Pharaoh and, the dreams through his teacher.

He told the General about Kwame and how he offered to help him get Harry out of this realm, which resulted him to transit from his real body to a female body.

He also told the General the conditions Kwame gave to him to be able to return Harry back to their century and how becoming his mistress helped him get closer to Harry.

He spoke about Harry's refusal to come with him when he finally had the chance to meet him and how he made the mistake of trusting Istnofret Gigi to help him.

Niall spoke carefully through out, with his eyes locked onto the General.

The General frowned Istnofret Gigi 'aetak eushb? (Istnofret Gigi gave you the herb?) He asked and Niall nodded his head.

"She said it will paralyse Harry and make him feel numb. She told me if Harry doesn't feel anything then the spell might work and I believed her"

The General gaze at Niall with a penetrating stare.

"But Harry's father is will be unhappy and....

The General asked calmly but with a sharp voice.

aya nawe min 'afdal sidiyq, hal 'anat? (What kind of best friend are you?) The General asked with an unbelievable expression.

"The friend who wants Harry to be happy" Niall replied.

"But-but the Pharaoh doesn't even love Harry, he is just using him because he looks like the real Nefertari"

"Yeah, he did, but-but...

Niall searched through his mind, looking for a any reason to give apart from Harry's father but he couldn't find anything.

He couldn't respond to the General's question and cast his face down.

The General sighed and leaned forward, then lifted Niall's chin with his finger.

hal taerif ma aetaqad? (Do you know what I think?) He whispered.

"No, I'm not in love with Harry.... Niall began to disagree but the General cuts him off.

qad takun fi halat hubin mae sadiqik almufadal , walahdha alsabab faealt ma faealtuh. (You might be in love with your best friend, that's why you did what you did)

The General gaze at Niall waiting for him to say something, but after a minute of silence he realized Niall was never going to acknowledged or confirm what he had said.

He sighed loudly at Niall's silence sa'atahadath 'iilaa alfireawn hataa yumkinuna altahqiq fi hadhih almas'alati. sayatimu altaeamul mae Istnofret Gigi. (I will talk to the Pharaoh so we can investigate this matter. Istnofret Gigi will be dealt with)

Niall nodded his head, with his eyes cast down.

hal 'astatie'an'as'alak sawal? (Can I ask you a question?) The General asked and Niall met his gaze.

hal kunt mjrd fursat liltaqarub min nfrtary 'am 'anak tasheur bishay' balnsbt ly? (Was I just an opportunity to get closer to Nefertari or do you feel something for me?) He asked.

Niall took a deep breath and exhaled "I do feel something for you" He whispered shyly.

The General's face softened into a smile and curled his hand behind Niall's neck. He pulled Niall's face forward in between the bars before he leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.

The kiss was slow and gentle. It lasted for few minutes before the General broke it off, his eyes gazing at his mistress who had his eyes closed, panting softly.

ln 'asmah lak bialeawdat 'iilaa ealimik. (I won't let you go back to your realm) His breath hits against Niall's face.

Niall opened his eyes and his breath hitched in his throat.

Niall stepped back staring at the General with horrified disbelief "No, you can't do that. I have a family who are expecting me back home"

"This is an infringe on my rights!" He exclaimed.

The General watched Niall with an amused expression.

Niall stare at the General with unbelievable expression. "You and Ramses Zayn are all cave men, kidnapping women against their will and locking them up in your rooms" He yelled.

ana saeid li'anana 'anshana dhlk. (I'm glad we have established that) The General smiled, slightly.

After the General left, Niall didn't move from the spot. He had his back pressed against the iron bars and his eyelids clenched shut as memories of Harry, bleeding from his back side kept flashing into his mind.

He let out a long breath, as if exhaling his pain and tears rolls down his cheeks. He prayed silently in his head, hoping the baby and Harry will be okay.

A few seconds, he heard faint footsteps and quickly opened his eyes then spun around, thinking it was one of the gaurds. But to his surprise, it was the least person had expected to see.

His nose flare up in anger at the unexpected visitor in front of him, who was smirking at him with a devilish grin.

"You bitch" He hissed with a clenched fists and gritted teeth as his chest rose up and down.

Istnofret Gigi rolled her eyes and stood a distance from the iron bars glancing at Niall from head to toe, with a sicken look when she saw his dress stain with blood.

hadha almakan rayihat faziea (This place smells awful) She murmured, twisting her nose in disgust as Niall stares at her with a deadly glare

"You tricked me, why would you do that?" Niall yelled.

awh , askut hal 'ant (Oh, shut up will you) She rolls her eyes.

zanant 'anani sawf 'usaeiduk , hrbaan min almalikat alhamil , walam yatbaeuha fireawn 'iilaa ealimuk? (You thought I was going to help you, to escape with a pregnant queen and the Pharaoh wouldn't follow her to your realm?)

"You are despicable, you snake" Niall yelled.

Niall's heart skips a beat and gasped loudly with his eyes and mouth frozen wide open at Istnofret Gigi's confession.

She said with a smug on her face and looked up from her fingers to Niall, who was staring at her with a horrified disbelief.

At that moment Niall would have gouged her eyes out if she was standing closer to him.

"You are a delusional" Niall whispered with a sicken look.

"If you think bearing Rameses Zayn a child will make a difference, than you are wrong"

haqa?(Oh really?) She chuckled softly.

She signed dreamily then curled her mouth into a smirk, while gently rubbing her stomach.

Niall gritted his teeth in silent fury and barked. "Let me tell you something from the future, since I happen to be a nerd, especially in Egyptian history"

"Even if you bear the Pharaoh an heir, you will still be worthless!"

"It will always be about Nefertari, She will be one of the best known Egyptian queens, next to Cleopatra, Nefertiti and Hatshepsut"

"The Pharaoh will build her the most lavishly decorated, spectacular and amazing temples with stunning monuments in honor of her"

asmat. (Shut your mouth) Istnofret Gigi screeched but Niall continued bombarding her with the truth.

"And guess what?"

"He built nothing for you, not even a tomb when you died. You are only known in history books as Rameses Zayn's second wife and the mother to his heir"

"That's all you are, that's all you will ever be" Niall spat

akhrus! (Shut up!) Istnofret Gigi yelled in rage and stepped closer to the iron bars, still keeping her distance.

Niall shook his head with anger lace in his eyes "No, you will rot in hell once the Pharaoh and the General finds out the truth"

sawf naraa. (We shall see) She murmured before stomping out of the dungeon.

Niall signed loudly and palmed his face "How could I be so stupid"
