After what happened to Corlatta's voice, they had no choice but to put Jasmine Daae in her role for the rest of the performance but before they do, they played the Ballad from act 3 of tonight's opera. Madame Lesch helped Jasmine get ready. Joseph Buquet was walking above. The Phantom following him. There was a single red rose in Jasmine's dressing room. Joseph could sense someone was following him. Then he saw him, and he starts to run. He fell and Phantom got on top of him. He strangled him and when he went down and everyone saw him hanging there, everyone screamed in terror. 

Raoul and Jasmine ran up the stairs to the roof. Freaking out over what they had witnessed. "Why have you brought me here?" he asked. "You must return." "He will kill you" Jasmine told him. "His eyes will find us there." "Don't think that" he responded. "He has to kill a thousand man" she told him so frightened. "Forget this waken nightmare" he told her. "The Phantom of the Opera is going to kill and kill again" she worn. "Believe me, there is no Phantom of the Opera" responded Raoul. 

"I thought you would understand" she responded. "Who is this man?" he asked. "He has to kill" she told him. "This mask of death" he responded. "I can't escape from him" she told him. "I'm trap." "The Phantom of the Opera is there inside my mind." There is no Phantom of the Opera' responded Raoul still not wanting to believe.
