When she came to, she was furious with who she saw. "So, it was all an empty lie.  One finale lies to fool us all. To make your death a story's end" she started. He reached out to touched her. She stood up and said "How dare you come and claimed me now? Invade my life and snare my voice?" "If you could have known the pain I known. Then you would know that I had no choice" he started. "My Jasmine" he tried to reach out to her, but she pushed his hand a side and said "Your Jasmine! I was yours one brief night long ago.  Long ago! With a man I no longer know." 

"Ah, Jasmine! You came and found where I hide. Please don't denied that you did. That long ago night" he responded.  He put his hands on her shoulders and this time she didn't push him away. "Once there was a night beneath a moonless sky" he begins. "Too dark to see a thing. Too dark to even try." Jasmine turned around went back over to the chair. "I stole to your side" she continued. "To tell you I must go. I couldn't see your face. But sensed you even so." 

They began to describe their magical, passionate night together. 

Colin got close to Jasmine again. They looked at each other. "Blinded in the dark" she continued. As my soul gazed into your soul. I looked into your heart" she held her arm to his head. "And saw you pure and whole." he reached out to her hand and held it. He held her hand and looked at her. "Cloaked under the night with nothing to suppress. A woman and a man! NO more and yet no less" he said. They looked into each other's eyes. 

They continued to describe that night... 

They stood up, holding each other. She reached for his mask.  He pulled away and walked to the side. "And when it was done" he started. "Before the sun could rise. Ashamed of what I was. I was afraid to see your eyes. I got up while you slept. And whisper our goodbye. And slipped into the dark. Beneath a moonless sky" he sat down.  

"And I loved you!" she started. He looked shocked. "Yes! I loved you! I'd had followed you anywhere you led. I woke to swear my love and found you had gone instead!" she told him. They hold each other again. 

"And I loved you" he told her. "And I loved you" she repeated. "And I left you" he said. "And I loved you" she said again. There was still hurt between them.  "And I had to, both of us knew why" he told her. "And yet I won't regret" they both said. "From now until I die. The night I don't forget. Beneath a moonless sky." He stood up and they were closed together, like if they were about to kiss. The feelings they had for each other were still there and they remembered every single moment of that night. The night before she married Raoul.
