(4th of September, after school)

Yukari offered to take me to Paulownia Mall, the main hub for students during after school hours.

This place is a lot bigger than I imagined...

"Have you come here before? A lot of Gekkoukan students come here after school. There is a karaoke box and a CD shop. Oh, and a really great cafe, too! There's also a nightclub, but that's kinda not for us yet.", Yukari pointed out all the places I could go to. I made a mental note of them as we went to check out a few outfits and left.

--Later, evening--

I went inside my room and sat down on my bed.

Tonight is the night of the attack on the dorm. I have to be prepared!

I set up my bat under my bed, I made sure Seno was well food and wasn't fatigued, I made sure I was gonna get enough rest for the inevitable.

If I stay awake, Ikutsuki and the others will be suspicious anyways.

I slowly drifted to sleep, mentally preparing myself for the fight...

Frantic knocking on my door. I woke up with a jolt, seeing that it was midnight, the sky was green again, and Seno was squawking to get me to wake up. I quickly rubbed the sleep in my eyes, had Seno grab onto my shoulders, and opened the door. Yukari stood outside, looking panicked yet determined.

"I don't have time to explain. We have to get out of here, now!", Yukari yelled.

"Got it, I have what I need!", I nodded.

"Hurry! Downstairs! We'll leave through the back door! Wait... How did you know something bad was going on? You have your bat.", Yukari questioned with a skeptical look.

Crap! Um... Well, I'll have to make up something believable later!

"I'll explain later, but now is not the time for this, I know that!", I held onto my bat tight and turned towards the way downstairs. Yukari shook her curiosity away and led me down. We made it to the back of the dining room when Yukari turned to me.

"Alright, we should be safe now--", Yukari was cut off by the sound of Mitsuru's voice in Yukari's earpiece( A/N: I know she didn't have one in the game, but they never specified where the noise came from so eeeeeeeeeeeeh)

"Takeba, do you read me!?", Mitsuru called.

"Y-Yes! I hear you!", Yukari called.

"Be careful! There's more than one enemy! The one we're fighting isn't the one Akihiko saw!", Mitsuru warned us.

"What!?", Yukari gasped, and the sound of a bang against the door next to us makes us jump.

"We need to run!", I yelled.

This is when we have to go up to the roof to fight. I don't want to change the events so...

"Let's go up! To the roof!", I suggested.

"O-Okay, good idea!", Yukari nodded as we both sprinted up the stairs.

--On the rooftop--

Yukari looked the door behind us and stepped back. 

"*sigh* The door's locked. I think we;re safe for now...", just when Yukari said that, a growl sound came from behind us. "...!?"

A giant blue masked shadow came crawling up the wall, brandishing its many swords in its many hands.

Now THAT is overkill.

"You gotta be kidding me...! It climbed up the wall...!?", Yukari gasped.

"That's what you focus on!? Not the infinite amount of swords it can poke us with!? Where did it even get those!?", I yelled, pointing my bat at the thing.

"That's the thing that attacked this place... We call them Shadows! O-Oh yes... I have to fight... I... I can summon mine... No problem...", Yukari pulled out her evoker, the fake gun, and pointed it at her head. She tried to shoot, but was too scared. The shadow seemed to elbow Yukari, making her fall back and the gun falling towards my foot.

"Yukari!", I called, but she just groaned as she tried to get up. I looked at the gun and sighed.

Now or never.

I picked up the gun with one hand as Sero stood on the end of my bat that was slung behind me. I put the gun to my head and took a deep breath. Finally, I let out a cry of determination, hoping it would work.

"Persona!", the surge of energy swirled around me, summoning a persona. It didn't look like the original persona the protagonist had, but completely different.

"Thou art I... and I art thou... I am Yami, Queen of Foresight..."

I gawked at my persona for a second, but then felt a really strong pain all around my body. I screamed and fell to the ground, clutching my head for some sort of support. 

Yami definitely transformed into Death, I can feel it. Man, that is not a nice feeling!

I heard the shadow scream in pain, dying slowly as Yami reverts back to herself. I felt the pain go away as I stood up slowly, Seno on my shoulder again for comfort.

"Is it over...?", Yukari asked as she recovered from the hit.

"Not yet.", I pointed towards the piece of the shadow that was still left. "Leave it to me! Seno!", I commanded Seno, and he began to fly above the shadow, distracting it by flying between the swords like a pro. I quickly ran forward and hit the shadow straight on its mask with my bat, making it dissolve in thin air. I stepped back and started laughing.

"I-I did it! Yeah, take that you sacks of inky terror! Damn, that was good!", I cheered. After my little celebration, though, my body gave out seconds later, flopping onto the floor with a thud.

"Nap.. time..", I mumbled, immediately blacking out. I heard Yukari calling my name, but I couldn't will myself to stay up any longer.
