Monday, 8 AM

Randhir came on the Set and went straight into his Green room ignoring Sanyukta who was standing right beside the director......today their assistant director was on leave and so Sanyukta was helping the team with the costumes and handing over the script to the actors......So the director asked her to handover a white shirt and script to Randhir for today's sequences that they were to shoot.....so she went to his green room and knocked the door.......

Randhir : Come in.....

Sanyukta(entering with a smile): Good Morning Randhir

Randhir(without looking at her): What are you doing here "Sanyukta"....Where's the Assistant Director.....?

Sanyukta noticed that Randhir was not seeming to be himself today.....He did not wish her morning happily...... he was sort of ignoring her and above all he called her "Sanyukta" instead of "Chashmish"

Sanyukta: Randhir......Is everything alright?

Randhir: what would happen to me?...... (arrogantly)......Anyways keep my script and shirt on the couch and leave.....

Sanyukta realized that he was not in a good mood......so she kept the shirt and script on the couch and she just left the room......later Randhir got busy in preparing for his scenes and came out of his green room as he was called by the director.......they started shooting but today Randhir was not himself.....he was taking retakes.....he was not much into the scene...... finally they managed to shoot some scenes before lunch time.......Sanyukta noticed all this and decided to talk to Randhir while having lunch.....she went to his room and saw that he was sitting on the couch.....with his hands covering his face......She saw that his lunch was kept there untouched.....

Sanyukta(enthusiastically): Come on Randhir.....lets have lunch.....see what I have brought.....your favourite.....Vegetable Pulao .....come lets have it

Randhir: I am not hungry....you can go and have your lunch.....

Sanyukta sat beside him and kept her hand on his shoulder

Sanyukta: Randhir.....what's wrong?.....I can clearly see that you are stressed about something......you can share it with me.....I know you are frustrated that your scenes didn't went very smoothly but this is just a part of life OK......now don't take your frustration out on food....come

Sanyukta took his plate.....and served some pulao on it and gave it to him.....When Randhir suddenly stood up and threw his plate of food on floor......

Randhir(angrily): Who the hell are you to tell me what I should do ?.......just stay in your limits and you don't tell me how to do my work......

Sanyukta(standing up): Randhir but......

Randhir(rudely shouting): I just have been a little friendly to you.....helped you a little......but you have just become a "pile on"......you don't need to cling on me every second.....just stay in your limits.....you are a co-ordinator ......remain that OK.....

Sanyukta was really hurt when he said all this to her ......but she controlled herself from crying.....

Sanyukta(looking on the floor): I am sorry....!!

After apologizing to him.......she left from his room and Randhir just punched the wall in frustration.....after lunch time was over .....Randhir came out for shooting the remaining scenes.....when Sanyukta who was carrying a lot of props with a box of grease in her hand, clashed with him and the whole grease fell on his white shirt.......

Randhir(angrily): What the hell?......Can't you see and walk.....

Sanyukta: Randhir I am really Sorry....I...

Randhir(shouting loudly gaining everyone's attention): Just shut up!!!!.......you can't do one thing properly haan....who the hell made you the co-ordinator.....?

Randhir shouted badly on Sanyukta and clutched her shoulder tightly......he was practically humiliating her in front of everyone....the whole crew was looking at them.....Sanyukta felt very hurt.....by that time Dr. Sharma(college dean) came and saw Randhir humiliating Sanyukta and treating her badly.....

Dr. Sharma(angrily intervening): That's it Mr. Shekhawat....you cannot treat any member of my faculty like that......and let me tell you Sanyukta is one of my most efficient employees and above all you can't treat a woman with such disrespect.......

Randhir(arrogantly): Oh please I am not in a mood to hear lectures on anything......and I definitely don't have the time to deal with the inefficiencies of your so called efficient faculty member......

Director(trying to resolve the issue): Come on Randhir....it's not that a big deal.....and Ms. Aggarwal is really good at her work ......it's because of her that we are smoothly able to set up all locations and shoot the sequences......

Randhir(arrogantly): Whatever.....

Sanyukta(with tears in her eyes looking at him and in a heavy voice):If Mr. Shekhawat feels that I am not working upto the standards then I will back out from this co-ordinator position.....I am sorry for the shirt Mr. Shekhawat.....I won't disappoint you anymore.....

Saying this Sanyukta left and went to the washroom and cried badly.....she couldn't understand why he was behaving like this with her.....she thought maybe she had done something wrong....maybe Randhir was hurt with something she said or did....so she decided to clear it out with him......she didn't wanted to lose a friend like him......so she went to his green room.....he was packing up for the day and was about to leave for hotel.....when he saw Sanyukta.....

Randhir(sternly): What are you doing here?

Sanyukta: Randhir I want to talk to you......Have I said or done something wrong? If so.....then I am really sorry.......

Randhir(interrupting her): you know what Sanyukta....here's where you are wrong......you don't understand things in one time......... I have told you to stay away from me......so as of now your tiny brain has at least made you realize that you were not worth that co-ordinator position and it will be great that you realize that I am not interested in seeing your crying face after every hour.....so it's better if you give me my space......

Saying that he left and Sanyukta couldn't understand what has she done so wrong that Randhir doesn't even wants to talk to her......with all these thoughts she reached home......she couldn't sleep that night thinking about how Randhir had always been a fun, sweet, loving and respectful person....for a moment she thought that she had been wrong in judging Randhir as a good human being....she thought maybe this was his real face....he was also arrogant and rude like other actors.....but somewhere her heart said that he was a good person and there was more to his behavior than what meets the eye......

Tuesday, 8 AM

Today Sanyukta went to take her lectures as she was no more co-ordinating with the team and Mr. Rahul was the co-ordinator from today.....However he was really struggling with the work.....he could hardly manage the props and he could hardly follow instructions from the art director, assistant director and the director all at the same time.....so it was taking a lot of time to set up location for each scene......meanwhile Randhir came on the set....and saw Mr. Rahul co-ordinating with the team today.....he just sighed and started preparing for the scene.......Later when the scene was going on .....Sanyukta was passing through the set when she saw Randhir delivering the dialogue.....

Randhir(as Raghav): You girls are meant for the kitchen and...and.....

Director: Cut!!!!.....What the hell is going on Randhir....from the last two hours we are stuck on this one scene.....why are you fumbling so much today.......this is serious business going on .....so you better concentrate......guys 20 minutes break.....

Randhir was highly frustrated.......nothing was going right.....he was fumbling again and again.....the scenes that he shot were just okay........he was not at all satisfied with his performance and above all there was no one he could share his thoughts with......as Parth had gone to Mumbai and Chashmish.....he knew that she wouldn't want to see his face now.....after whatever happened the previous day......so much was going on but he just didn't know what to do.......he was thinking all this sitting on a bench......when he felt someone sitting on the bench behind his bench......

Sanyukta(pretending to be on call): Yes Naina.....I can definitely help you with your problem.....I know when there is too much on your mind......it becomes really difficult to concentrate but everything has a solution.....I will tell you an exercise......you keep your forefinger in front of your eyes and just look at that keenly......you will notice that when you look at your forefinger keenly ,all the other things becomes blur or out of focus from your vision except the forefinger and when you see other things then your forefinger becomes out of focus......the same rule applies to life as well......consider the thing upon which you want to concentrate as your forefinger......and for that moment forget all the other things that are on your mind.....and you will succeed.....I know it sounds tough but I know you can do it......Someone has told me ...... "If you really have passion for something......you can do anything for it"......then keeping aside your tensions and stress is a very little thing.......for now keep aside everything and focus on your passion.......

Suddenly Sanyukta's phone rang in reality ......so she got up and went away.....so as to not embarrass herself in front of Randhir.....but little did she knew that Randhir heard her phone ringing and he had already realized that Sanyukta was saying all these things to motivate him and her words really helped him.....he smiled on seeing her sweet attempts to help him.....and went away with a new determination to shoot the rest of his scenes......

Sanyukta(in mind): I will always be there for you Randhir.....

Finally the shooting was finished for the day by 8 PM and everyone was slowly leaving and Sanyukta was also moving towards the college gate when she heard some ruckus happening at the shooting area.....she went and saw a small crowd near Randhir's green room......she immediately went there and entered the room......and she couldn't believe what she saw......There Randhir was laying upon Simran( President Of the Student's Union of the college) on the couch and it seemed like he was forcing himself on her as Simran was shouting to leave her.......Randhir immediately got up from her and Simran began crying.....Even the director of the show and Dean of the college were standing there and they saw everything......

Dr. Sharma: What the hell was going on here Mr. Shekhawat?......How dare you try to force yourself on a student of my college

Randhir just looked away and didn't say anything and simran came and hugged Dr. Sharma.....

Director: Randhir can u please explain what was going on.......?

Dr. Sharma(tauntingly): What will he explain?......everything is crystal clear......he was trying to force himself upon my student.....and what else can be expected from such a man.....yesterday he humiliated my faculty member Sanyukta and today this.....but I will not tolerate this at any cost.....I am calling the police right now......

Simran(pleading): No mam ......please don't call the police......my image will be ruined in the society....moreover my parents will stop sending me to college......please mam....even the reputation of our college will be badly affected......

Dr. Sharma(worried for college reputation): You are right Simran......but I won't let him enter my college and (Turning to the director)Sir if you want to shoot with him.....then I am sorry I will no more allow shooting in my college.......

Director(sternly): You don't have to worry about that Dr. Sharma because someone who can go this low to the level of molesting a girl.......I can't work with him......Randhir Shekhawat you are no more the protagonist of this show......you should be thankful that they are not calling the police.......otherwise you have no idea how your image would have been crushed in front of thousands of people......go pack your bags......you are no more a part of the Sadda Haq team.....so it would be great if you vacate the hotel as soon as possible......the production will no more bear your expenses......moreover your contract now stands null and void....

Sanyukta saw all this.......she couldn't believe that Randhir could do something like that.....she saw that his face was all red.....his eyes looking on the floor and he didn't speak even a word in his defense or against all the allegations that were being put on him.....

He lost his show for which he had worked so hard , for which he was living away from his home.....his whole image was tarnished in front of his whole team and he was not speaking anything......after everything Randhir went back to the hotel to vacate his room........Sanyukta decided to follow him.....she reached the hotel and went to the reception.....

Sanyukta: Can you please tell me in which room Mr. Randhir Shekhawat is staying?

Receptionist: I am sorry mam....we cannot give details of any of our customers......

Sanyukta: Please its really urgent...... I wouldn't have requested you if it wasn't important

Receptionist saw the urgency in Sanyukta's eyes and decided to help her

Receptionist: Mam he is staying in room no. 208....but please don't tell anybody that I helped you otherwise I could lose my job

Sanyukta: Thanks a lot......I won't tell anyone

Sanyukta went to Room no. 208 and knocked it twice......Randhir opened the door and he was shocked to see Sanyukta at his door.....He didn't want to talk to anybody right now.....so he was about to close the door but Sanyukta pushed him inside and bolted the door......

Randhir(angrily): Listen Sanyukta....I am in no mood to listen to anything right now.....if you are here to say that I have done wrong and you want to taunt me about my character then I bloody don't care about your opinion on me......

Sanyukta saw that his eyes were red....he had most probably cried.....his knuckles were bleeding which meant that he was hurting himself badly......

Sanyukta: I am just here to say that I Trust you Randhir.......I know that you can never do something like this........

Randhir was shocked to hear Sanyukta.......he turned towards her and came near her......

Randhir(stammering): What are you made up of Sanyukta?......you saw everything with your own eyes and moreover I humiliated you soo much......I have been a complete jerk to you.....despite all of this how can you trust a person like me?

Sanyukta: Because I can never leave the person who was there with me in the toughest times of my life......who held me when I fell down, who became a pillar of support for me and above all who trusted me when I didn't trust myself ......how can I leave my "Best Friend" alone when he needs me the most......I don't need any proof to know that you are innocent Randhir but I really wish that you trusted me once to share your problems with me......

Saying this she started leaving.....

Randhir: "Chashmish" wait.....!!!!

MY POV

Sometimes circumstances are such that the truth is not really what meets the eye.....there is much more to it.....Randhir stood with Sanyukta like a pillar of support in her problems ......he was the one to tell her that she needs to stand strong.....can such a person who motivates his own friend to fight against people......who himself respects woman so much....be involved in molesting a student.....Is he a hypocrite?.....why was he behaving differently in the past 2 days?.....if he has not done anything then why didn't he come out clean and defend himself......?? Is Sanyukta right in trusting Randhir?.....To know the answer to all these questions.....you have to wait for the next part.....Please vote, comment and continue to read my work......hope you guys are liking the update.....have a great day
