Randhir(tapping Sanyukta's cheek): Chashmish......Chashmish....!!!!

He picked Sanyukta in his arms and took her to the car and made her sit on the front seat and tied the seat belt around her.......because he had already asked his driver to leave and he was himself driving the car.......

SP(Superintendent of Police): Mr. Shekhawat ......we need your friend's statement as this is a molestation case......

Randhir: Sir, she has already fainted and her family is worried for her......can she give the statement tomorrow morning......

SP: I can understand Mr. Shekhawat .....But please positively bring her tomorrow morning as the victim's statement is crucial in such cases......

Randhir: definitely sir......

Then the police left with those men and Randhir sat back in the car.....he looked at Sanyukta's face....it had red marks of that beast.....she was looking very vulnerable......Randhir felt very emotional looking at her.....he couldn't believe that she had to go through so much.....he decided to call her mother and tell her that he found Sanyukta.....

Randhir: Hello aunty......

Sanyukta's mom (concerned): Hello beta.....did you find Sanyukta.....? did she call u...? (crying)...Beta batao na where is she...?

Sanyukta's dad asked her whom she is talking to and she told him that she was asking one of sanyukta's friends about Sanyukta

Randhir: Aunty Relax.....please stop crying....I have found Sanyukta.....you don't worry....I am bringing her home .......

Sanyukta's mom(relieved): Really beta.....please let me talk to her.....meri toh jaan hi nikal gayi thi.....

Randhir(hesitantly): Aunty main abhi sanyukta se aapki baat nhi karwa sakta

Sanyukta's mom(tensed): Beta sanyukta theek toh hai na......

Randhir: Aunty she is fine.....trust me

Sanyukta's mom(panicking): If she is fine then let me talk to her beta ....please.....

Seeing his wife panicking....Sanyukta's dad took the phone from her.....

Sanyukta's dad: Hello....beta Sanyukta's dad this side.....beta Sanyukta is fine right?

Randhir: Hello uncle... Sanyukta is fine.....aap please aunty ko sambhaliye main bas usse ghar hi drop kar raha hoon......main apko sab kuch aakar batata hun.....

Sanyukta's dad: Ok beta.....Please come soon

Randhir: ji uncle....

Randhir hanged up the phone and started driving towards her home......he was thinking.....how will he explain to her parents that she has been molested.....he was preparing himself to tell her parents about this.....with all these thoughts he reached her house.....He came out of the car and picked Sanyukta in his arms.....and rang the doorbell......Sanyukta's parents opened the door at the first ring......and they were shocked to see Sanyukta in Randhir's arms......moreover her mom noticed that she was covered in a shirt.......

Sanyukta's mom (shocked): Beta....yeh sab.....? kya...? Sanyu....??

Sanyukta's dad understood that something was terribly wrong with his daughter and he didn't recognize the guy who was holding his daughter but he controlled himself and gave way to Randhir to come inside......They showed him the way to Sanyukta's room and he laid her down on her bed gently and turned to her parents......

Sanyukta's mom(crying hysterically): Sanyukta......

Randhir came running to her and held her and made her sit on the couch.....

Randhir(calming her): Aunty please stop crying.....

Sanyukta's dad(teary eyed): Princess!!!!......(sternly)Who are you?......What happened to her?..... Where did you find Sanyukta?

Randhir: uncle I am Randhir.....I am her friend....please calm down.....I will tell u everything

Sanyukta's dad saw that he was looking quite a genuine person and then his wife also told him about Randhir and he was a little relieved

Sanyukta's dad: What happened to her?

Then Randhir told her parents everything starting from Sanyukta's call on his phone to police arresting those people and Sanyukta fainting down due to shock......they were broken thinking what all their princess had to face in the last few hours......

Sanyukta's dad: I can't thank you enough beta.....agar tum sahi time par nahi pahunchte toh pata nhi kya ho jata....... (Breaking down)....Meri princess.....!!

Randhir: Uncle please......everything is fine......you both have to be strong for her.....

Sanyukta's dad: you are right.....thanks beta

Randhir: no problem uncle.....I think I should leave now....(turning to her mom)take care aunty....

Sanyukta's mom: beta it's already very late....I insist that you stay here for tonight....

Randhir(hesitant): But aunty

Sanyukta's dad: yes beta.....Anjana(Sanyukta's mom) is right......you should stay here for the night its....very late......

After that Randhir agreed to stay for the night ....so he went to the guestroom....right beside Sanyukta's room on the first floor....and her parents went to their room on the ground floor....

In the middle of the night around 3 AM.....Randhir heard someone speaking something.....he got up and heard someone shouting.....he realized that the voice is coming from Sanyukta's room.....even her parents heard those voices and all 3 of them entered her room

Sanyukta( panting and pleading in sleep): chhod do mujhe....please mujhe jaane do.....

It seemed like everything was flashing in her nightmare......she suddenly got up and was very scared.....Randhir moved towards her and kept his hand on her shoulder but she immediately flinched away

Sanyukta( panting heavily and pleading): Don't touch me......please.....

Her father moved forward to calm her down but she flinched away from him as well.....she was not able to handle any male touch.......everything was just flashing again and again in front of her.......that beast's touch was haunting her terribly......she was sweating and panting heavily.......her mom came forward and hugged her tightly........her father was broken seeing his princess feeling so vulnerable.....but they couldn't do anything ......later Sanyukta slept mumbling and her mom decided to be with her......Randhir and her dad came out of her room......

Randhir: Uncle you have to be strong for her......

Sanyukta's dad: I have never seen her so broken.........My princess.....she has always been so strong......always standing up for the right.....I have never seen her so vulnerable......in fact she's not even crying......it's like she has suppressed everything inside her......

Randhir: Uncle Time heals everything......I know she will be fine.......

After that both Randhir and Sanyukta's father went to sleep......

Next Morning, 7 AM

Randhir was hell tired last night but he had to wake up because he had a call time of 8:30 AM for the shoot and he had to go to the hotel first.......so he got up, got fresh and went downstairs.....He saw Sanyukta's mom in the kitchen.....

Randhir: Good Morning aunty.....how's Chashmish?

Sanyukta's mom (sadly): Beta she's deeply affected by whatever happened.....she just kept mumbling in fear last night.....she's in a state of shock.....she just kept looking at a single point without blinking......why it had to happen with her?

Randhir(trying to lighten up the situation): Aunty Chashmish will be fine and then we will tease her like that day....

Sanyukta's mom smiled sadly .....and then Randhir's phone rang......it was his creative director's call reminding him about his call time for the shoot......

Randhir( hesitant): I am really sorry Aunty....I have to leave for my shoot.....I really wanted to stay but I have to leave

Sanyukta's mom( tapping his cheek): That's alright beta....you have already done a lot for us....I don't know if you wouldn't have reached there at the right time what would have happened......

Randhir: Aunty please......you don't consider me like your son....that's why you keep thanking me....and Chashmish is my friend.....this is the least I could do....in fact Sanyukta saved herself....if she wouldn't have kept her mind calm and made that call ......no one could have found her...... (Flirting and trying to lighten her mood)I know she must have inherited her intelligence from you.....

Sanyukta's mom( smiling): No wonder Sanyukta calls you flirt haan.....

They both laughed at that and Randhir decided to leave for his shoot but before that he went to Sanyukta's room and saw that she was still in his shirt which he made her wear the last night and she was clutching it tightly in sleep.....he just hoped that Sanyukta will come out of this trauma soon....after that he decided to leave but before that he informed her parents that they had to take Sanyukta to the police station for lodging her statement against those people........

After an hour or so Randhir reached the college and he heard the Dean of the college (Dr. Sharma) talking to someone about Sanyukta and she was looking really angry

Dr. Sharma: I can't believe this how irresponsible Sanyukta can be? The whole team is waiting for her.....she's already late and on top of that her phone is switched off.....she has never been like this

Randhir: Mam can I talk to you for a second....

Dr.Sharma: Yes Mr. Shekhawat...?

Then Randhir told her everything and he requested her to keep this to herself and she was shocked to hear everything but she understood the gravity of the situation and asked Mr. Rahul to co-ordinate with the team today......

After shooting for about half a day, it was lunchtime and Randhir started missing Sanyukta as this was the time when they used to endlessly talk to each other.....suddenly he remembered that Sanyukta had to go to the police station to give her statement.....so he thought to ask her mom about it......so he called her.....

Randhir: Hello Aunty.....how is Chashmish? Did she go to give her statement to the police station?

Sanyukta's mom(panicking): No beta.....she's not talking at all.....she's not even reacting on anything.....in fact when I told her that she has to give her statement against those men....she just ran and locked herself in her room.....she has not eaten anything and she is not even opening the door of her room.....I Am afraid....kahin woh kuch kar na le...........

Randhir(shocked): What...??.I am coming right away Aunty.....

They hung up the phone and Randhir informed his director that there is an emergency and so he had to leave immediately....The director tried to stop him but Randhir promised that he will shoot overtime the next day .....and saying that he left for Sanyukta's home.....he reached her home and Sanyukta's mom took him to her room and there he saw her dad trying to convince her to open the door.....

Sanyukta's dad: Princess please open the door beta......

Randhir: Uncle let me try.....

Sanyukta's dad gave him space and he started tapping the door......

Randhir(angrily): Chashmish open the door.....open the door right now......if you don't open the door Chashmish I will break it.......

Nothing seemed to affect Sanyukta......so Randhir decided something.....he knew Sanyukta will not come out of her trauma like this.....and he needs to get a reaction out of her and so he had to trigger her to bring out whatever she has suppressed inside of her.....

Randhir(turning to her parents): Uncle....Aunty.....I am going inside her room through the window.....I will open the door from inside but please don't enter until you hear Sanyukta crying or shouting......

Sanyukta's dad: What are you going to do?

Randhir: Uncle trust me.....I won't do anything that would hurt Sanyukta but I will do something to get a reaction out of her and I know you won't approve of my way but please trust me on this.......

Randhir went to the backside of the house andsaw that her room's window was open......so he climbed the pipe and entered insideher room and saw her sitting on the floor with her knees folded and her headdown.....he slyly opened the door first and then started talking to her......

Randhir(smirking): So Chashmish.....as always......sitting like the looser you are ....huh

Sanyukta just looked up and stood up seeing him

Sanyukta: Just get out Randhir......I don't want to talk

Randhir(moving towards her and smirking): Who wants to talk Chashmish .....I am here to have some fun.....you know what I mean

Sanyukta started moving back seeing him come close.......somewhere she was getting those flashes of last night again.....her heart started thumping faster......Randhir noticed that and kept moving forward and trapped her between himself and the wall......and so she held his collar to stop him

Sanyukta: Go away Randhir......don't come near me

Randhir: What....come on baby....were those guys better than me.....let me also have some fun huh....

Sanyukta's anger and her emotions started building up hearing his words.....on the other side her father got really angry and he was about to enter inside the room but her mother stopped him and asked him to trust Randhir....

Randhir(laughing) : Are you scared Chashmish.....you don't need to be.....you will enjoy it.....come on baby .....Let me have some fun....

Randhir started touching her arms and clutched her waist tightly........Sanyukta started having tears in her eyes.....she had not cried once since the time she was saved but when something similar was happening again.....tears came out

Randhir(smirking and tracing her lip line with his finger): Come on Chashmish.....don't mess my mood......We will just spend a night you know and you satisfy me...and girls are made to just satisfy us men you know....satisfy our desires....what's the big deal haan......

Hearing those words Sanyukta remembered something.....

Flashback

Taxi driver: Ae ladki......zyada chalak mat ban.....tum jaisi ladkiyan jo raat ke 11 baje ghar se bahar nikalti hain woh sirf hamari pyaas bujhane ke liye hain......

Flashback ends

Those words brought out all the disgust that she felt towards that man who touched her and she was filled with anger........She tightly slapped Randhir.....not once, not twice but 4 times and she continued to slap him......

Sanyukta(aggressively): How dare you touch me.....kisi ko bhi mujhe chhune ka haq nhi hai.....I am not a puppet...... no girl is made to fulfil a man's desire.....no one has the right to touch me without my consent.....bloody no one you get that.....

She harshly pushed Randhir......slapped him again and again....scratched his arms with her nails.....beated harshly on his chest ....she was no more seeing Randhir in front of her....she could just see those beasts who molested her.....she was very aggressive......all that anger came out.....and Randhir was just standing there bearing everything ......letting her take out all her emotions on him...... hearing all the noises her parents also opened the door and were coming forward to stop her but Randhir indicated them to stop at the entrance and let Sanyukta ooze out everything..... Finally when he saw her exhausted .....He shaked her to bring her out of her aggressiveness....

Randhir: Chashmish bas...... it's me

Finally after constant shaking Sanyukta came out of her aggressiveness and saw Randhir looking at her sincerely and she broke down crying heavily and Randhir hugged her immediately

Randhir(rubbing her back gently): Cry as much as you want now Chashmish......but not after this......Because after this you will make those men cry after you give your statement against them

Sanyukta got scared just at the mention of them.....

Sanyukta(scared and hiccupping): I will not go anywhere......mujhe kuch nhi karna

Randhir(angrily): What did you say?....you will not do anything haan.....and you will remain in this mental trauma......getting scared of such men......you know what you are not the person I know....You are some Sanyukta......and not my friend "Chashmish".......because my friend Chashmish is a fighter....she's not a looser like you....she always stands up for the right...she always stands upto her principles....she never thinks what people will think or do but she always does what is "RIGHT".....whether it is for helping someone or for standing up for her own self.....I even met her father and he says that his Princess is strong.....she never hesitates to fight for the right but you are not his Princess.....His Princess and My friend Chashmish is no looser Sanyukta who just keeps quiet when something this terribly wrong happens......and above all she never lies and I believe in her....so aaj ke baad main tumse tab baat karunga jab mujhe meri friend Chashmish milegi......

Saying this he started moving towards the exit of the room......praying in his mind that she will react and he was not wrong.......

Sanyukta(firmly): Wait Randhir.....you are right.....I am no looser and I have always stood up for the right....and I will stand for the right this time as well......I will go and lodge my statement against those men...... anyone who does wrong has to be punished

Randhir(without turning): That's what I expect from you Chashmish.....

After that Randhir, Sanyukta and her parents went to the police station and Sanyukta told everything to the SP about the incident....she identified those men......and when they came in front of her.....she confidently went towards them and gave a tight slap to all 3 of them

Sanyukta(angrily pointing towards them and looking them in the eye): Agli baar kisi ladki ko haath lagane se pehle yeh sochna ki tumhare apne ghar main bhi tumhaari Maa aur behne hain....agar unke saath koi aisa karega toh tumhe kaisa lagega......aur kisi bhi ladki ko kamzor mat samajhna.....because if a woman can bring you into this world then she has the capability to kill leeches like you as well......

After that those men were locked up in jail....and Sanyukta came towards her family and Randhir....

Randhir(smiling proudly): See....that's my friend Chashmish.....I was talking about......

Her parents hugged her tightly and they came out of the police station.....her parents thanked Randhir and showed their gratitude towards him......her dad hugged him and thanked him from the bottom of his heart for helping Sanyukta......Sanyukta asked them to sit in the car saying that she will come in a few minutes.....and she sat near Randhir

Sanyukta(emotionally): I don't know how to thank you Randhir.......you have been a really true friend.....whatever you did that night and today.....I really can't thank you for it.....words are not enough to express my gratitude towards you

Randhir(smiling): Then don't waste your words Chashmish.....you don't need to thank me....you are my friend and any friend would have done this only.....but I am really sorry for my ways.....(lightening the situation).....vaise sorry kya kehna......kitni zor se slap kiya tumne mujhe Chashmish.....and tumhare nail scratches(dramatically).....ouch

Sanyukta(concerned and guilty): I am really sorry Randhir.....bahut zyada lagi kya.....dikhao

He lightly hugged her while sitting.....

Randhir(smiling): Hey Chashmish that's the last thing I want you to feel guilty or sorry about....in fact that is how you should react if any guy.....including me.... haan ....talks to you that way or touches you inappropriately.....that's your right ......you get that.....and if you really want to thank me Chashmish .....then promise me......you will never hesitate or get scared of any man like that......because I like your spirit for fighting for the right most Chashmish......and you have to maintain that spirit all your life you get that......(flirting)aur ek cute smile de dogi toh koi tumhari salary nhi kaat lega....(stroking her nose).....Samjhi Chashmish

Sanyukta(smiling wholeheartedly and saluting him): Yes sir.....

They both laughed and then went to their respective places.....waiting for the next milestone of their friendship.

MY POV

"SUPPRESSING, KEEPING SILENT, GETTING SCARED, IGNORING".......All these are the things which we need to avoid whenever we witness or experience anything "WRONG"......be it someone's dirty gaze to a crime as heinous as rape......you should and you must raise your voice for the "RIGHT".....because no one but you have to stand up for yourself.....the society is such which may at a point stand united with you and at a point they may stand against you.....but what is important is you should do what you think is right.....no one should have the power to tell you what you should wear, what work you should do, how late you sit for work, and no one should influence you to keep silent or prevent you from raising your voice for the right......if anything then people need to change their "MINDSET"......because a girl is not a mere victim.....she's a fighter and she very well knows how to fight for herself and for her rights......you have to become the "Fighter Chashmish" who knows how to raise her voice against the wrong and not the Sanyukta who becomes silent and gets afraid of whatever happened......It's all about being "BOLD" and emerging as a "Strong 21st Century women"
