I started dating my partner, who I'll call A, two weeks ago. We've had a 9 month-long talking stage though, as some of you might remember from my rant book, so we're extremely close. I absolutely adore him, he's my favourite person in the entire world, I can't even express what he means to me <33

And I went over to his house to hang out today, and he surprised me with a Birthday present, which I didn't expect, cuz my Birthday was last week. But I opened it, and it was HIS copy of his favourite book, which I know means a lot to him, he's had it for a long time and he always tells me about it. I didn't flip through it, because we were in the middle of a conversation, and I put it in my bag and we proceeded to hang out all day, made dandelion crowns, watched shows, made bracelets, etc. 

And when I got in the car to leave, I put on my headphones and opened the book to look at it, and...

Oh. My. God. 

My heart actually skipped like six beats, and my mom read it over my shoulder and smiled so hard- 

I can't even EXPLAIN how much I love this boy. Like, some people might say "You're too young to know that," or "It hasn't been long enough," but I truly do. He's my sun and moon and stars, literally everything to me. This book has been through a lot with him, through a lot of bad times and a lot of good ones, and now it's in my hands, and that means so much to me. 

He gave me poetry a while ago too, before we were together, and I'll put some pics of that here too-
