Steve and Nat immediately stole a jet to Chicago, landing on your hotel roof an hour later. That was hell of a time for Steve to boil, and before the plane even landed, he was out and running. He ripped the stair door off its hinges and jumped a flight of stairs as Nat patiently came after him. He found your floor and raced to the room you'd told him you were staying in. Trashing the room for clues, he found your phone. Remembering everything you told him, he looked through your contacts for 'Peter', but didn't find anything. He next looked through your pictures and found a picture of you and your bff at the restaurant. He quickly informed Nat of it, and seeing the pier across the window, he jumped out and made for it on foot, leaving Nat to once again sulk behind. This time though, she caught up with him before he could bust into the restaurant and got him calm enough to let her take the lead.

Nat posed as a fed and asked the restaurant owner for the security footage from last night. They found the guy they were looking for and Nat took a picture of him with her phone, running his face through SHIELD's databases. Back at the hotel, police had finally been called and they processed the crime scene, bagging anything of use, including your friend's phone. Steve argued with the local law enforcement but the lead detective didn't budge. Meanwhile, Nat managed to sneak your friend's phone and dragged Steve away. She showed him the phone and found Peter's phone number. Nat wanted to use her phone so SHIELD could trace, but Steve convinced her why that was a bad move. So, they used Steve's phone and Nat posed as an interested teen who'd heard about the party from her hotel room neighbors and asked him to pick her up.

The kid fell for the trap and had the black widow "kidnapped", letting her get inside their ring. She fought her way to the local boss, prying information about the two girls and got a day's deadline. They headed out to their first destination as soon as they could, which was another makeshift brothel, but they only found your bff drugged senseless. After a long fight, Steve and Nat took your friend to a motel and detoxed her and she revealed where they had taken you.

As Nat stayed behind with your bff, Steve took his rented bike out to the docks to find the yacht you were on. Inside, you woke up dressed like a mistress and being forced to walk somewhere. The guards took you to a man's room and you immediately tried to fight back, but they threw you in and the old man grabbed you, slapping you hard across the face. Before he could get anywhere, there was shouting and gunfire from outside and you immediately knew your dad was here.

"You're gonna die!" You spat in the man's face and he jerked you in front of him as a shield and put a gun to your head.

Two minutes later, the door burst open and there stood a furious Captain America.

"Stand down! Or she dies!" the man threatened, pressing the gun into your temple. "Drop your weapon! Throw it away, NOW!"

Your dad took an angry huff and threw the shield; it bounced on a side wall and ricocheted out the window behind the man's bed. Your dad smirked and you knew exactly what had happened. You watched your dad's fingers, counting down the seconds it would take the shield to come back to him. Just when he got to one, you ducked and the shield came flying at the man's head from behind, making him lurch forward and shoot himself in the heart before he fell.

You covered your ears and screamed from the gunshot, and your dad immediately was all over you, fearing you had been hurt.

"Y/n! Y/n!" he repeatedly shouted as he tried to get pass your messy hair tangled around your arms covering your face. He finally managed a good look at you and found you unharmed.

"Daddy, you found me!" you whispered in shock and he instantly took you in a protective hug, rocking and soothing you as you cried your lungs out.

"I'll always find you, sweetheart. I'll always find you."
