He's a friend. He's a boy.
(H)
Your dad was in his science room, looking all nerdy and passive in his oversized lab coat and his eyeglasses at the end of his nose. The epitome of nerdiness really. Bruce Banner smiled at his daughter, but looked over his glasses at the friend she'd brought home. A boy.
"Hey kiddo!" Your dad called out to you and came over, engulfing you in a hug.
"How was the trail?"
"Very cleansing. And so very pretty," you described your hike, having been a nature girl since Banner had found you, in a forest.
"Uhuh. Good for you. And this is?" Bruce turned his attention to the boy.
"Hi, I'm Leonard. I'm your daugh-"
As soon as he began, you starting shaking your head and pretend slicing your neck with your hand, but Leonard was too far gone.
"-ter's boyfriend." He stretched it out, saying it slowly and questioningly.
"Uhuh." Bruce said, extending his hand.
"Bruce Banner, y/n's father."
As they shook hands, a green kept over your dad's skin and Leonard turned pale white before he fainted to the ground.
"Boyfriend, huh?" He asked you over his shoulder as you stepped up behind him, raising your brows in surprise at your now ex crush's passed out body.
"Nope. Not anymore."
"Not ever again till you're thirty," Your dad said as he handed you a lab tool, and both of you intently worked on the project, having forgotten about Leonard till he woke up and startled the two of you.
You were in your dad's lap both laughing uncontrollably on the floor as the boy ran out of the house.
