Grounded: Rescue (ironman)

Tony had the news feeds looped, blocking the terrorists from the outside world, and so that no one would know you were there.

"Hey short stuff!" You heard your dad's voice in your ear. It was apparently coming from your earrings.

"Dad? Oh dad! I'm so sorry! I thought I could get in without getting caught, but I got caught. I just wanted to help!" Your voice was starting to break.

"Honey! Honey, listen. When you get outta there, we're gonna go get ice cream. And then you're grounded."

"Deal! Save me first, yeah?"

"Hey, who's you talkin to?" One of the terrorists turned to you.

"No one. J-just myself. Scared and all."

"Isn't she popular or something round here? Popstar or Hollywood."

"No. No she's not." Ironman answered in your ears.

"No I'm not! I'm... I'm a journalist. That's why I'm here!"

"You sure? I don't remember seeing her come in."

"Alright hon, I got a team coming up the stairs. I need you to take these guys up."

Just as your dad informed you, you saw the leader start a news reel.

"This is a communique from the Crimson Jacks. You have seen a demonstration of our power. Do not force us to destroy this city, and do not try to use force against us. I, we, are all prepared to die. With one turn of that key, two million of your people will die instantly!" (You saw the key, and with no one paying attention, you stole it).

"What key?" The cameraman asked.

"That key!" The leader, Viper as he called himself, turned and saw the key missing. "Who's taken the key?!" He shouted before realizing you weren't in your place. He stilled and turned to you.

You nervously chuckled at the trouble ahead and ran for the door.

"Shoot her!" He ordered as Ironman screamed a no in your ear.

As you climbed through the construction machines on the upper floors, your dad got a call.

"Tony. The secretary of defense is done playing." Happy said.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"That means you got a fighter jet coming in hot."

"No it isn't! Y/n's in there!"

"Think fast, Tony."

Just then, a jet whizzed by and Ironman flew after it. He highjacked the controls, leaving the pilot flustered. He opened the cockpit mid-flight.

"Excuse me, Captain. I gotta borrow your plane for a minute." Tony snarked just before the pilot was ejected and he got in. "Alright, Jar, let's get our girl home."

Meanwhile, you had climbed the biggest crane there was, and were climbing out on it as it hung 50 floors over the city.

"Give me the key!"

"You shoot me, this'll fall!" You screamed as Viper followed you, machine gun in hand. "Stay where you are!"

"Give me the key. Come on, child. You don't want to die, do you? Give me the key and you won't get hurt." He hung the machine gun around. "I give you my word!

"No way, you wacko!" You screamed just as your foot fell. "Help me! Please don't come any closer! Help me! Help me! Somebody!" You frantically wrapped your legs around the rafters.

Just then, there was a gust of air and Viper couldn't believe his eyes as a fighter jet came up.

"Y/n, jump down!" Your dad said as he brought the jet below you.

"Dad? Help me!" Suddenly, a helicopter started shooting at the jet and your dad flew off, drawing the fire away from you.

"Daddy, come back! Daddy, get me down!" You screamed your lungs out.

"Jump!" Tony said as he came back around. "Y/n, I swear I'm gonna catch you!" he said reaching out; the cockpit cover was broken from the gunfire.

You jumped but missed the cockpit, starting to slip off the nose, grabbing at anything you could.

"Hold on!" Tony screamed at you, as he climbed out of the pit to reach you.

"Don't you let me fall, please!" Your hand slipped. "Daddy!"

"I got you!" He grabbed your wrist just in time and pulled you up, making you hold on to the exposed rail of the cockpit.

Meanwhile, Viper had jumped on the back of the plane and had his machine gun aimed at you.

"He's behind you!" You warned.

"Turn this plane around, right now! Or she dies!" Leave it to Tony Stark to find a loophole.

"As you wish," he winked at you and you tightened your grip around the rail.

With you secure, Tony literally turned the plane around, and Viper slipped off, his jacket getting stuck on the still attached missile. Tony saw the helicopter on the other sides of the building and smirked. He flipped the cover of the launch button, and smiled at you, then turned to Viper.

"Hasta la vista, baby!" And fires the missile into the helicopter, taking care of all the terrorists.

"Good job, daddy! Now can you please ground me, for till college?"

Tony smirked, "I think ice cream sounds better."
