Here we are,

United in the cause

Of staying in,

Divided by our walls

 And social distancing.

Are we strong or are we weak?

As we don the sacred robes 

Of masks and gloves.

We perform our rituals - 

Homeschooling, binge-watching, 

teleworking and hand washing.

We eke out our time 

Online,

Looking with envy

To the street.

Its normal freedoms

 Out of reach.
