“ I don’t think what I said is something laughable “ Ashton muttered in annoyance after he finished his speech about that girl whom I found really cute , whereas I dropped to the floor from laughing uncontrollably at how silly they were.

“ you know what ? I’m going to join her , I’ll see you later “ I mocked and he threw me a cautious look as a response and carried on “ I don’t think you would like this adventure “

I tilted my head in his direction and with a side smirk , I stated “ have you forgotten that I’m the king of adventures?” And then I ignored him and kept walking towards her.

I really do wanna sit!

“ Hey , mind if I join you?” I asked politely as soon as I stood at the chair opposite her , while she raised her head a little which gave me an nice view of her eyes ; They were really pretty and captivating . It’s like they capture whoever sees them , especially the uniqueness of the blue of them .  

I stopped ogling at her when she averted her gaze without uttering even one syllable , therefore , I took it upon myself to sit.

I know . Rude!

In reality , I really wanted to confirm the accuracy of what Ashton had told me because she piques my curiosity with her exaggerated tranquility.

“ excuse me?!!!” Is all what she said when I sat down . Her tone was ambiguous though but her voice was actually adorable , and here I looked at her quite shocked and I started lecturing her in attempt to provoke her “ Wow!!! you can talk?? For a minute , I thought you were mute!” I saw her furrow her eyebrows in in fury , then she straightened herself up to leave without saying anything.

Is she mad at me??

“ what’s this girl’s problem ?” I whispered to myself , filled with suspicion . I then decided to finish my meal because my stomach is the most important as you may know . I’ll find time for her later , because I know she’s innocent and not like how everyone illustrates her.

The first day of school ended along with the boredom following it. Everyone left as soon as they heard the bell ; I waited for Ashton in front of his car outside , though my eyes wandered around the students to land on that blondie . I didn’t even bother to look for her since she was walking alone surrounded by nothing but a circle of emptiness as she avoided the students around her thus I managed to spot her rather easily.

I marched towards her with purposeful steps , completely ignoring everyone’s shocked stares . Some were muttering that I was “ totally crazy” while I payed no mind to them , I stood in front of her to block her way .

“ Sorry “ I said in a rush but she just tried to walk past me from the side , so I tried to wholly encircle her to apologise “ I really didn’t mean to annoy you earlier  in the morning  “ my tone was honest though she blanked me and carried on walking as if I was invisible !

“ alright , you seem like the arrogant type too  “ I said under my breath , quite crossed , as I went back to Ashton who was already waiting for me in the car.

“ Oh my Lord!!! Did you really try to block her way???” Screamed Ashton in disbelieve as we entered his house  after I told him what happened and how I was kinda vexed because , in my entire life , no one has ever avoided me like this!

Seriously??

“ and that’s what caught your attention??” I grunted and an hour passed with me complaining to him that this is my first time being ignored like this.

I saw him open the fridge , absent minded , so I interrupted “ you know what?”

He hummed for me to resume “ I actually want to get to know this girl because she really intrigues me “  I said with a straight face , only to see him spitting his drink in shock as he shouted amazed “ WHAT?”

“ Are you mental ?! I’m warning you from getting close to her , and now you want to befriend her???” He scolded me as he pointed his index at me in a threatening manner . He then left me to go back to his room.

“ Okay then , miss mysterious blondie , I’ll show you who’s the boss here .

It’s  not Luke who gets completely shut down like this “ I whispered to myself , challengingly . For real , I feel like I want to solve this blondie’s riddle . I don’t exactly know why but I have a feeling that’s she’s innocent and that I should help her get rid of the cruel students’ rumours.
