Yes~! Let's go! First it's gonna be sad!

[In the 'Don't, stop it. Stop them! The feels are unstoppable!' chapter]:

"Then, that twin sister was also you." Tsukasa paused. "Heh, such a simple excuse."
"I mean..." you scratched your cheek. "I pretty much made her up."
"I don't believe so..." he looked at you. "You're a great musician, you're strong, and you have a real presence... I always notice whether you're here or not."
Your heart skipped a beat.
"Could you come closer...I have a favor to ask you."
"Uh, yeah."
You leaned closer to his face so he could whispered in your ear.
"Could you...just, wait for me."

Your eyes widen, you opened your mouth but no sound came out. Your mind was blank and your heart was beating like a drum but you couldn't tell if it was jumping from joy or breaking into pieces.
"Tsukasa I-"
"Nevermind..." he smiled. "I'm sorry for asking something so selfish."
His smile conveyed so much sadness, you felt the tears building in your eyes. You placed a hand on his cheek and gently kissed his other one. He softly gasped.
"I can wait." you whispered. "I'll wait for as long as it gets."
You smiled at each-other.

A long moment of silence passed. You let ho of Tsukasa's hand and leaned back, looking up at the cave's ceiling. Taking a deep breath, you opened your eyes. There were slightly red and puffy, but no tears at least.

"Do you want a moment alone with him?" Senku broke the silence.
You looked at him and smiled.
"Actually, yeah. Thanks."
He nodded and started walking out, though he stopped at the entrance.
"You know," he said, his back still facing you. "it might take a while, but we'll find a way to turn him into stone. We'll save him. You won't have to wait forever."
Your chest tightened, you huffed a chuckle.
"Of course."

[In the 'What if...' chapter]:

"(Y/n)."
"Yeah?" you turned back.
Senku walked up to you and looked dead into your eyes, like he's been struck by a sudden realization of something horrible.
"Don't go. This is wrong."
"What?" you frowned in confusion.
"Tsukasa shouldn't be here. I shouldn't be here. All of this is wrong."
"No it's not! How could you say something so awful?!"
"You know I'm right!"
"I-I don't!"
"You do! Just accept it!"
"I-"
"I didn't think you were that impatient!"
You covered your face, breathing deeply, just hoping he'd shut up. He did.

"(Y/n)?"
You looked again. Senku was gone. In fact, only you and Tsukasa were left. Your expression fell when you turned to face him.
"It sucks that it didn't turn out like this." you said.
"I know, but it was fun while it lasted."
"...I miss you."
He smiled and placed a hand on your cheek. You held it and leaned on it as your eyes grew teary. He kissed your cheek.
"Me too."
You giggled and held his hand, the tears flowing down your face.
"You can't miss me, you're dead!"
"I do miss you!" he turned you around and hugged you from behind. "I'll miss you until the day we see each-other again!"
You laughed together.

You opened your eyes. Tears rolled down and you quickly sat up so they don't touch the papers on the table.
"Bad dream?" Senku asked, sitting across from you and pausing in his work paperwork to check on you.
You wiped the tears away.
"Not really." you said. "You know, I don't like dream-you."
"Huh?"
"Like, you're still the voice of reason. But you're too blunt, it hurts."
"Don't tell me you let some dream affect you in real life." he sighed. "That's just stupid."
"It wasn't stupid!" you frowned. "It was very emotionally heavy!"
"Sure whatever."

[In the 'Guess who's back?!?!?!' chapter]:

'Gonna see him, not gonna cry!' you gave yourself little slaps on the cheeks. 'Gonna see him, not gonna cry! Gonna see him, not gonna cr-!'
You looked up and froze. Five short meters away from you stood Tsukasa. From his stand, you could tell he was going to Kaseki's workshop. And from the way he was looking at you, you could tell you could tell he was going to see you.

Looking at you, Tsukasa didn't really know what to say. On his way here, he thought about what he'd say to you after so long, but now that you were face-to-face, his mind went blank.
Finally, you walked up to him with determined steps. A few seconds of silence passed before you spoke.
"Can we date?"
"Huh?!" Tsukasa instinctively took a step back, his face red.
"Like, come on we only live once and apparently we could get stabbed or kidnapped any day. Plus I really-really like you!" you blushed when you realized you said 'really' twice.

A moment passed. Tsukasa kept looking at you, pink dusting his cheeks. Seemed like he was processing what you were saying. You kinda felt bad for dropping this bomb on him the moment you saw each-other after so long, but you needed this off your chest.
"(Y/n)!" he finally said, now with a certain spark in his eyes. "You beat me to it, I wanted to ask you the same thing!"
You laughed wholeheartedly.
"So that's a yes?"
"Yes!"

He picked you up and started to spin around out of joy. You laughed together before touching foreheads. You looked into each-other's eyes in silence, enjoying this moment of pure bliss before he put you down.
"I missed you."
You laughed.
"You couldn't miss me, you were dead!"
"No, I really did!" he held your hand, caressing the back of it with his thumb. "The moment I closed my eyes, I missed you."
You closed your eyes, feeling your heart squeeze. You smiled and hugged his arm as the two of you started walking.
"Aww~!" you giggled. "Dude, soooo much happened while you were gone! Let me tell you!"

...

"Kidnapped?!" he suddenly put his hands on your cheeks. "Are you okay?! Did you get hurt?!"
"I'm good I'm good." you smiled and put your hands over his. "Got more scared than hurt honestly. And a lot of backlash from Senku."
"Backlash?"
"Yeah, says I'm too reckless for my own good." you paused. "And when Mozu got me, I realized he was right."
You could clearly see that Tsukasa was worried about you, and you began to get flustered when you realized he still hasn't removed his hands. So you removed them yourself but still held them. You waited for him to say something but he kept looking at you, like he was deep in thought, or trying to see your soul. Honestly, this was getting awkward.

"Hey, it's okay." you eventually said. "I'll try to be better from now on."
"(Y/n)."
"Uh, yeah?" you asked, taken aback by his sudden serious expression.
"I made my decision," he said. "I'll protect you, and everyone as well. No bad guy will ever ruin the progress made by the Kingdom of Science."
You couldn't help but smile.
"Aw, that's nice-OH!"
Now it was Tsukasa's turn to be caught off guard. You squeezed his hands and leaned closer.
"Why don't you teach me how to fight?!"
"Teach you?"
"Yeah! If we ever get in a Mozu situation again, I'll be able to kick their ass myself!"

Tsukasa thought for a moment. Training with your girlfriend was one of the scenarios he fantasized about in high-school. But this was real life and the circumstances were completely different, he needed to make this decision with a clear head.
"...Are you sure you want to do this?"
You enthusiastically nodded. Staring at him with stars in your eyes, he couldn't say no. He sighed.
"Alright then. I suppose I can teach you self-defense."
You squealed and wrapped your arms around his neck.

...

"Senku!" you walked in while he was viewing some notes on the petrification device. "One, Tsukasa will give me self-defense training now. Two, we're dating!"
"About time." he smiled. "For news one *and* two."
"I'm so happy~!" you jumped lightly, giggling like a little girl. "Imma go tell Yuzuriha!"

And with that, you left just as quickly as you came in. Senku sighed, smiling as he went back to work. Not long after did Tsukasa stomped in, startling him.
"Senku! (Y-Y/n), she asked me out!" he said, almost not believing it himself.
"Oh did she now?" Senku sighed, putting his notes aside.
He figured that he won't be able to get any work done tonight. But with how happy his two friends were, he didn't complain much.

[In the 'Learning skills and showing skills' chapter]:

"Why don't you tell us your role on this ship?" Minami pointed the mic towards the two of you.
"Once we revive scores of people," Tsukasa said with his serious face on. "guns may come back into play. Some people will once again scheme to exploit and profit off others. I cannot allow that. They will not defile science with blood. Yes, that is my role in all of this." he paused. "Oh, and I also vowed to train (Y/n)."
"Hello!" you waved at the mic without really thinking on how silly that made you look. "I'm still CEO, I'm just taking some time to change myself. I wanna become stronger!"

"Me and the listeners are cheering you on!" Minami said.
"Thank you~. Wait, what listeners?" you chuckled.
"The future generations of course!"
"Oh my god~." you held your cheeks. "My future children!"
Tsukasa tensed up, blushing.

"So~ you two are concidered by many to be *the* power couple of the Kingdom of Science."
"Power couple, really?" you scratched your cheek, getting flustered.
"Yes, how does that make you feel?"
"This sort of thing doesn't really matter to me." Tsukasa said, a smile forming naturally on his face. "What matters is that (Y/n) is happy."
"Aw~ and what about you Tsukasa?"
"Either training her or just walking outside to enjoy the weather, being with my girlfriend sparks joy in my heart."
You covered your red face and nudged him, he just chuckled. Minami described the scene to her audience before ending the interview and waved goodbye.

"Tsukasa~!" you gave him little punches on his arm, still red.
"Did I embarrassed you? I'm sorry." he smiled. "But those are my true feelings."
You pursued your lips before standing on your tippy toes to kiss him on the cheek.
"Well, it's the same for me." you smiled.
The flustered look on your face made his heart skipped a beat. He hugged you.
"Wha-Tsukasa! People are staring!" you said, though you didn't struggle.
"But you're so cute." he whispered.
Your heart jumped and you hugged back.

"You're the cute one!"
"No you are."
"No you! Uno reverse card!"
He laughed and held you up. By this point, you forgot all about the people around you, looking at you two and thinking you were just so adorable together.

[In the 'Casino, bar, and more training' chapter]:

After enjoying your Chocolate Bomb cocktail, you looked over to see Tsukasa walking up to you, and your eyes widen. When you both walked in the casino, he was pulled away by Yuzuriha for a change of clothes, since he'll be assigned to be the bouncer for the night.
And oh boy! And you thought you got your dose of boys in suits for the day. But right now it was a combo 'no jacket'/'rolled sleeves' paired with 'loose tie'!
'Damn boy!!!'

"Why hello there." you smiled leaning back on the counter.
"Fancy meeting you here." he smiled back and bowed.
You both giggled. And thanks to everyone for behaving, Tsukasa didn't leave your side and this night turned into a date.

And it's just so wholesome and it makes me happy. Like people would always be baffled how the calm and collected Tsukasa and the bold and energetic (Y/n) would turn into lovesick goofballs when they're with each-other.
It's a real Morticia and Gomez situation and I am living for it!
