"Guys, it's been great as always!" you told the crowd. "We'll see you tomorrow!"
Murmurs echoed.
"Already?!" Magma exclaimed. "It's not even midnight!"
"Yeah! We gotta wake up early! Come on now, everybody go home! Shoo shoo!"

As you walked back home, you decided to go alone and you took a little detour to see the ship. As you looked at it, a smiled formed on your face, then faded. You remembered Ryusui saying he worked on a list of the people he'd want as a crew and it made you anxious.

A moment passed before an idea popped in your head. You rushed to your office and grabbed some instruments, then went back and you got on the ship, trying your best not to make any noise. But because the instruments were cumbersome, you stumbled and at some point, a tambourine fell and made a loud noise. You stayed motionless for a moment before trying to pick it up again.
"Who's there?"
You flinched and let out a yelp. You turned around but saw no one. There was a door leading to the hold, it must've come from there. You set your instruments aside but took your array mbira with you (that thing is heavy enough to do some damage), and cautiously walked down. Exploring a bit, you finally arrived in a room and your eyes widen when you saw Hyouga sitting in a cage, a sleeping Homura lying beside him.

"Why hello there." he calmly said.
You frowned.
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm being imprisoned." he shrugged. "Question is, what are *you* doing here." he paused, noticing your instrument. "Not that it's any less obvious."
Your frown depended. Yep, this guy was still a dick. You turned around and walked away, not wanting to waste your energy with him.

"I'm glad you're here actually. I'd like to apologize."
You froze and turned around. That, you didn't expect.

"Don't get me wrong, I stand by my words when I said that you're a terrible double agent. You're way too reckless." you frowned again. "But I heard your talent, and when it comes to it, you're doing a fantastic job." he paused. "I'm sure I would've eventually regretted killing you."
Even with his mask on, you could tell he was smiling. A moment passed, both of you starting at each-other in silence. Then you walked away without saying a word.

Ryusui stood on the edge of the boat, looking upon the entire Kingdom of Science, a long scroll in his hand.

"This goes without saying," he exclaimed with a clear voice, his expression dead serious. "but we're about to embark into the complete unknown, so this is an incredibly dangerous and risky mission! In fact we might not even return from this! I can make no guarantees of your lives!" he paused. "So if anyone's name that gets called now wants to stay behind, then by all means, stay behind! That is something for you to decide for yourself!"
Of course, if they really wanted a specific someone to get on the ship, they'd just get Gen to manipulate them into doing so in case they say no. But Ryusui also didn't want any unmotivated sailors in his crew. He unrolled the scroll.

"First off, our absolute necessity: the ship's engineer! Senku! Chrome! Kaseki!"
With the cheers of the crowd, Chrome and Kaseki waved at them as they walked on the ship. Senku was already on it, casually reading over some blueprints, not caring about this dramatic bs.
"Next up is-!"
"I'm going too!!!"

Ryusui and Senku turned around and saw you stomping out of the hold (a different door then last night), your hair all messy.
"(Y/n)?" Ryusui said.
"What were you doing here?" Senku asked.
"I slept here!" you exclaimed. "Listen, I don't care, I'm getting on that ship! With everything I've been involved in, you know that there's no way I'm not getting involved in this too!" you paused, your eyebrows furrowed. "I know I don't know jack shit about sailing but...but I swear I'll do my best to be as useful as I can!"
"What are you talking about?" Ryusui asked.

You were just about to go into another monologue but this threw you off. He pointed at the list.
"You're already on the list."
"...what?!"
You walked up to him and grabbed the scroll. Your name was bellow the power team members'.
"This journey might last for months." he smiled. "We'd all go crazy if we don't have anything to entertain us."
"You do realize that part of the reason why we gave you set record set is so you could leave some of your music here while you're away, right?" Senku raised an eyebrow, smiling as well.

"I..." you couldn't finish your sentence, you kept staring at your name.
Which was already on the list. *Your* name, was a thing they thought about. They already wanted you to go with them, you didn't have to convince them!
Senku placed a hand on your shoulder and leaned closer.
"(Y/n)," he spoke softly. "you're crying."
"Ah! Sorry..." you handed the scroll back to Ryusui and covered your eyes. "I...I didn't know this would hit me this much."

Ryusui smiled and went back to calling names as Senku gently pushed you aside.
"We're gonna have to bring your instruments over here." he said. "Only the necessities though."
"I already brought them last night."
"And you didn't-" he sighed. "We made a special storage unit for them. Come on, let's go move them there."
You sniffed and nodded, smiling. He flicked one of your locks that was out of place.
"Another bad case of the bed hair."
You chuckled.

"Oh, (Y/n)!" Kaseki called out after you came back with Senku. "I made the case you asked for."
He handed you a necklace with a locket on it. You took it and opened it, the little diamond safely inside. You smiled and put it around your neck.
"Thanks Kaseki!"
"You're very welcome!"

"(Y/n)!" Minami called out. "Get down here! Now we can take a celebration photo!"
"Huh?" you tilted your head.
"We weren't gonna take it without everyone." Senku said as he walked passed you.
Your heart squeezed. You felt like you could die happy now.

With a timer that François requested, you all stood in front of the ship. Standing closely beside Senku, you took his hand, intertwining your fingers together, and made a peace sign with your other hand, smiling ear to ear.

"Vee!" you went up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "While I'm away, you're in charge!"
"Alright, I'll do my best!" she nodded.
"Make sure to throw the dopest parties ever!" you said as you got on the boat. "If you need an instrument that I got with me, I kept the blueprints for them, they're in my office! And also remember I recorded some samples if you wanna use them!"
"You can count of me!" she waved. "I won't let you down!"

After departure, you gathered for a strategic meeting. Senku explained that your destination was wherever Byakuya's and his crew's spaceship, the Soyuz, crashed. Inside its remains could very likely be some sort of time capsule like the one from his grave with useful information and material. Like platinum, which was like THE thing you needed to produce a large quantity of revival fluid.
"It's been thousands of years," he said. "so we may not even know what the island looks like or what condition it's in anymore. So we've got to choice but to go there and find out for ourselves."

You suddenly gasped loudly. Startling everyone.
"Wait..." you held your temples. "Wait!"
"Take your time." Senku said.
"Mmh..." you thought hard about something, if your hypothesis was correct then this was a big deal. "Ah! Soyuz!"
"The spaceship yeah, what's your point?" he shrugged.
You pointed at him.
"In the Kingdom of Science, there are no coincidences! It's a thing I learned!" you exclaimed before running out.

Everyone looked at each-other, confused. You quickly came back, dragging your drummer with you, though right now, he was part of the power team.
"Guys. This is Soyuz."
"(Y/n), Soyuz is a spaceship." Taiju looked concerned. "Are you okay?"
"His name is also Soyuz, dumbass." Senku glared at him.

You looked at the bald young man and gestured him to talk. He hesitated at first, but eventually spoke.
"It's true, my real name always felt out of place in the Ishigami village, so I always lived my life nameless. But my real name is Soyuz."
"But why did it feel out of place?" you asked, a bit pushy because you really wanted to find out if your hypothesis was correct.
"B-because...originally, I was never part of the village." he continued as people let out a cry of shock. "When I was a baby, I drifted along the shore waters of the village. A villager saw me and took pity if me, my village parents. They lied and said I was their son, and raised me as my own."
"So wait," you held up your hand. "did they give you your name?"
He shook his head.
"Then how did you know your name was Soyuz?"
"I...I remembered."

"The guy has a damn good memory." Senku smirked. "Regardless of whether this is good or bad news, we just got our hands on a piece of information with ten billion percent reliability and certainty." he paused. "Our treasure island, is not deserted at all!"
"Oh!" you held your head with big eyes. "My god!"
'We are NOT short on plot twist here!'

Well, now that you thought about it, it made sense. It has been more than 3,700 years after all, things happen. And thanks to Soyuz, you were able to locate treasure island within just a few hours! Though you sailed though a storm, you trusted Ryu's captaining skills. So while you and him were relaxing with warm lattes inside, everyone was in their respective station. Which created a funny contrast between you two just chillin', and Senku who was in a crazy rush. He said this was your chance to see who you were dealing with in the island while being undetected, which was fair.

Luckily, the storm cleared out once you reached the island. It was decided that, as a reconnaissance team, the minimum of people should go inspect the island to see if it's safe. Only four people: Senku, Gen, Kohaku and Soyuz, they took the little motor-boat and left.

"Now that they're gone." Ryusui said as he lifted up a barrel.
Inside was Suika, who knew she was in trouble.
"Suika?!" you exclaimed. "What are you doing here?!"
"I thought it was strange that I didn't see you the whole time everyone was sending us off." Chrome folded his arms.
"Suika also wanted to be helpful~!" she whined. "Suika's specialty is scouting and reconnaissance!"

"Suika." you knelt down in front of her, holding up your index. "That is very reckless of you!"
"You...pretty much did the same think though..." Chrome said. "And you're way more reckless than her in general."
"That's different! She's still a child!"
"I agree," Ryusui said, as angry as you were. "I cannot allow you to participate in our mission! Until we get back to Japan, you're gonna quietly stay put on the ship!"
You nodded, both of you staring at her like the angry parents you were.

Suika joined the others to clean the ship while the reconnaissance team was away. You wanted to join too, but Ryu asked if you could take a stroll around the ship together.
"What's up?" you asked.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Now that we can talk privately."
"Oh." you figured he must've been talking about that crying moment you got this morning. "Y-Yeah, I'm good. Like I said, it was more of a shock than I expected."
"Do you still have trouble realizing your worth?" he asked, ready to get into a monologue about how great you are.
"It was a turning point for sure." you scratched your cheek. "It is a slow process I guess."
"Take all the time you need." he placed a hand on your shoulder. "Remember, if you need anything, it would be an honor to help you."

You smiled, your heart squeezing. Then, you noticed something. Ryusui noticed you were looking behind him and your face became paler.
"What's wrong?"
"Someone's watching us."

He immediately turned around. Standing on the edge of a cliff was someone. They were too far to see what they looked like.
"Who the hell are you?!" Ryusui exclaimed.
"I don't think that's the right thing to say right now..." you mumbled.

The person reached for something and threw it, the object was attached to a long rope. It flew high in the air, the sunlight reverberated from it hitting your eyes.
"What the hell is tha-Ah!"
Suddenly, just as a giant ray of green light emanated from the object, Ryu pulled you close to his chest, almost lifting you up and kicked Suika, who was standing nearby, out of the boat.
"Haha~! Live Suika!" he exclaimed. "Tell Senku and the others! Tell them how the ship was attacked!"

He looked down at you, his expression gentle. You looked up at him, just scared of whatever was happening and what was going through his mind.
"Don't worry my dear, dear (Y/n)." he spoke softly. "I'll protect you until the very end."
You softly gasped, tears building in your eyes. You buried your face in his chest as he wrapped his arms around you, squeezing you gently.
"Okay." was all you could say before everything turned black.
If he said that, that could only mean one thing: you guys were dead.

'OH GOD NOT AGAIN!' you though, still conscious in the darkness. 'So this was the petrification ray?! What?! How in the fuck?! Who?!'
You were mentally silent for a short second. Obviously not finding any answers.
'No! Must keep thinking! It'll be fine, at least we're not dead! Senku and the others will find a way to revive us, I just know it. In the meantime uh... Caprice Op1 n'24, how does it go?' and so you started to replay music, just like last time.

You couldn't tell how much time have passed, but it sure felt long!
'First thing I do once I'm revived: I'm kissing the hell out of Senku!'
You laughed, or at least the mental equivalent of laughter.

Then suddenly, you could feel the back of your neck again. Progressively, faster than last time, your body turned back to its original form. You blinked twice and saw Senku, behind him was the squad. A big smile formed on your face and you were about to say something when all of a sudden, they knelt down before you.

"Our dear holy priestess." Senku said, still looking down. "We sincerely apologize for asking you to come back out of the blue..."
'You revived me dude.' you frowned as he kept going.
"And we acknowledge our boldness, but we are in need of your skills."
Confused as hell, you gave a quick glance around. You were in a cave, with a tunnel leading to the sea. There was only one person who was still standing. And you've never seen this guy before.

'He looks like a total fuckboy.'
