A day of wholesome

[It's just gonna be full of shenanigans and references (tho you don't have to get them to get the funnies), again for the shits and giggles]

Things started happening during breakfast. Ryusui asked to tag along with your girl group, saying that he would like to 'know what you beautiful ladies could talk so passionately about'. And when you explained that you were talking drama, in real life or in reality tv shows, he happily went on a tangent.

"So Yvie told her 'You're never gonna win this competition if you just stay safe'."
"And she's right!" you exclaimed. "My girl Yvie! Telling the truth!"
"But she doesn't have to be so rude about it everytime!" Sapphire frowned.
"Then, Brooklyn stepped in and said 'But Sasha was safe most of the time and she won'." he paused. "Sasha was the season 9's winner."
"Why is Brooklyn defending her?" Yuzuriha asked. "I thought she didn't like Silkie."
"That girl is shady." Garnet said, nodding. "I just know it."
"And then," his smile widen at what he was about to say. "Yvie said, 'That's because Sasha was talented'!"
The girls gasped while you let out a big 'OOOOOOH' and high-fived him.

There was this one spot, high on the mountain with a good view of the forest. You had an idea to set up a golf game there, so you asked Magma to put flags on top of some of the trees and so people had to hit them to win. Then at the end of the day, Magma would go around and collect the golf balls. Needless to say, you put him in charge, and of course he was not on board with this. But when you said you'll stay with him for his first morning shift, and if he doesn't like it you'd let him go, he accepted. And he did not regret it.

"Account for the wind!" you told Yo right before he swung.
No surprise that he's been missing four times in a row now.
"I did account for the wind." he said, looking at the golf ball in the air. "God dammit!" he shouted when he saw he missed the flag, yet again.
"Should've accounted for the wind!" Magma said with a smug smile.
"I did account for the stupid wind! That's not the problem! I just shot it too hard!"
"Yeah, through the wind!" Magma and you laughed.
"I'm gonna kill you." he glared at him before swinging again. "There it is. How's that accounting for the wind?!" he missed. "Son of a bitch!"
"Should've accounted for the wind dude!" you said, laughing along with Magma.
"Oh my god..." Yo's shoulders shook.

He waited for you two to be quiet before trying one more time.
"There it is, there it is!" he said, full of hope, but his expression fell only a few moments later. "How the hell?!"
"Yeah it's tough." you said, feeling a bit bad for him.
"How did you two do it?!" he turned towards you two, referring to the time you both showed him how the game worked and you both nailed it.
"Well..." you glanced at Magma.
He glanced back.
"The first thing to do was to account for the wind!" you both said at the same time.
You wheezed while Yo dropped his club out of anger. And as you were still laughing, him and Magma got into a fight.

You had lunch with Kohaku and Chrome. She was talking about the axe throwing training she organized this morning.

"Listen," you said. "what if I wanted to hit a bullseye, throw a second axe and hit another bullseye and I split the first axe in two. Would your class help me achieve that?"
"Uh...maybe?" she said.
"So it would be what, an hour of training?" Chrome asked, the two of you smiling.
"An hour and a half?" you added.
"I'd say every day for the next couple of month."
"Let's do this!"

You and Chrome both put down your plates at the same time and the three of you went to the training ground. Of course you weren't serious about this, you just wanted to try out some axe-throwing. Kohaku explained the basics and off you went. You both threw at your targets, you landed it while Chrome's axe went straight on the ground.

"OOOOOH!" you raised your arms in triumph.
"It wasn't a bullseye though!" Chrome pointed out, clearly just hatin'.
"Who cares! That felt amazing!"
You picked up your axes and threw it a second time. You missed and Chrome landed. He shouted of joy while you shouted of disappointment.
"What's it taste like?! Huh?! Huh?!" he nudged you with a smug face.
"It doesn't taste good!" you glared at him.
"I feel like it's a bullseye!" he turned towards Kohaku. "It's like half-and-half at the limit!"
"You know that half-and-half would mean that both parts are equal right?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

You laughed. It could be seen from a mile away that only a fraction of the axe entered the center part of the target. You picked up your axes and threw it a third time. They both landed in the center. You both loudly gasped and looked at each-other with big eyes.

"A pair of bullseyes!" Kohaku clapped. "Wow!"
"BRUH!"
You opened your arms and walked towards each-other. You hugged for a brief moment, knowing that this experience has drawn you closer as people.
"We didn't even do the normal hug." you said as you went to pick your axe. "We did like the slap hug, the bro hug!"
"Yeah, this has made men out of us!"
"...sure."

And in a moment of absolute badassery, you tapped your axes as you went back to your spots.
"Alright, you guys are tied." Kohaku said. "The one who wins this round wins it all."
"I am drunk right now..." you said as you drew back your axe. "With power!"
You threw your axe and it hit the target but from the wrong side and with too much force, so it actually bounced against it and it flew back to you. Your heart dropped and out of instinct, you covered your head and got down, letting out a loud yelp in the process.

"(Y/n)! You okay?!" you heard Chrome shouting.
You looked up and saw Kohaku standing in front of you, holding your axe which she just caught mid-air. You let out a big sigh and stood up again.
"I'm good."
"Good. Cause *I* won!" he pointed at his target.
It wasn't a bullseye, but it landed.
"Chromes wins!" Kohaku smiled.

"Yeah~! What do you think 'bout that?!"
"I'm so happy for you. So happy!" you hugged him. "There's gonna be an axe in your chest by the end of this."
You both laughed.

Here's the thing: you were in charge of your musical crew, but you were also in charge of the outdoor venue. It was Ryu's at first, but he gave it to you as a gift for 'being an amazing friend, an amazing person, a talented musician, a true inspiration' and other nice things he said.

And because you wanted diversity, you opened the venue for other shows (once they passed an audition and get validated of course). Ruri made fun activities with the kids to turn her hundred tales into plays, it wasn't great but it was really cute. And Gen of course had his magic show.
And ever since then, he started this hilarious bit where he'd pretend to try and sabotage you and take your place. You and the others got used to him hanging around and openly speaking while you were all working.

After lunchtime, there was work to do on the stage. You were planning to build some kind of arc to put the spotlights on, because before that, someone had to climb up a tree and sit there for the whole show while holding the lights. So you thought it was a good idea to build something steadier.

As soon as he saw you walking over the venue, Gen turned towards the crew and clapped his hands.
"I'm mad! I need to vent!" he said, loud enough for you to hear.
"What's up?" Vee, who would also come and hang sometimes, asked.
Let it be known, you just walked passed him and got to work supervising the artisan crew. You were used to his shenanigans.

"So as you all know, I have my very own magic show." he said. "But! Some people-(Y/n)-chan! I'm gonna cuss, cover your ears!"
"Seriously?" you pointed at yourself. "You're telling *me* to-okay." you sighed and put your hands on your ears, which is the most un-effective way to stop hearing.
"...Some of you are talking shit about it!"
Let it be also known, that no one actually talked shit about his show.

"But that's okay!" he continued. "Because I'll-"
"Can I have my hands back now?" you asked.
"No-I'm gonna get my revenge." he smirked. "And you won't see it coming."
"Dude I need them to work."
"(Y/n)-chan, I don't give a fuck!"
You laughed and got back to work.

"I'll have you all know that every single one of my shows have been huge successes!"
"Sure." you smiled.
"Don't listen to her! Don't listen to her!"
"You're really squaring up right now." Nikki chuckled as she passed by, carrying some equipment.
"Yeah! I'm mad!"
"Well the one show that's been sold out every time is, you know," you pointed at yourself with your two hands. "yo girl's! I ain't the CEO for nothing!" you opened your arms in provocation.

"Yeah sure, let her talk! It's fine, because I'll get my revenge. First of all, don't take her seriously, it's just that show-business star talk, I know it all too well! On the stage she's being super shady, but she doesn't want to see me face to face! You know, she's just afraid that if I'm at the center for too long I might take her number one spot!"
"Yo." he turned towards you. "I can hear everything you're saying, I'm five meters away from you. I'll just get back to work it's all good." you turned around but quickly faced him again. "Psyche! No I won't bitch 'cause you're fuckin trash!"
Gen tried not to smile, to stay in on the bit. Everybody else laughed though.
"Alright what'cha got 'Uh~ pick a card!' 'Woop it's gone gone now!' 'Oh wait! Pull my finger!' Ahahahaha! So fuckin funny man ahahaha-you're trash!"

Gen stayed expressionless for a moment before turning back to his audience.
"See what I mean? She won't say it to my face! She says it in fr-"
"Dude I literally just said it to your face!" you smile.
"...She says it in front of the crowd but she won't say it to my face! She's such a coward!"
You silently walked up to him as he froze into place. You stopped right beside him and pressed your fingertip on his cheek.
"Your show sucks ass." you said before stepping away.
"...You know what I'm talking about!"
You, him, and everybody laughed.

At some point, you had to leave the artisan team to their work, and you went to your office with Vee. You both decided to make a song together. You thought that with your powers combined, it'd be easy-peasy. You were wrong.
See how, when you're really excited about a project and so ideas just keep coming in, but then at some point you take a step back and realize it's just a big unorganized mess? That's what happened. And so you had to try and edit down, change things that were out of place, come up with new things, harmonize the melody with the lyrics. By the end of this, you were both mentally exhausted, and it was dark outside. So right now, you were both lying down on the floor, barely conscious. And as you passed time, you didn't even have the energy to look at each-other, you just stared at the ceiling.

"I got a riddle for you." she said.
"Go for it."
"A girl, and a guy...drank something...and there was ice in it. And the drinks were poison... The woman drinks quickly, and the guy drinks slowly, but just *he* died, why?"
"Because, the poison was in the ice-cubes."
"...okay."
You both laughed.
"You sound so defeated!" you rubbed your eyes.

"I might have said it wrong." she said. "Let me try again."
"Oh my god-okay."
A moment passed and she wheezed.
"Okay." she said. "A woman is drinking poison." you laughed. "And-uh... only she, and she dies why?"
"...I don't know."
"It's because the poison was poisoned."
"...Oh my god~."
"Yeah, yeah a lot of people get tripped up by that one."

"I got a riddle for you too."
"Okay?"
"A guy...stops a woman on the street...He asks her out...She says no." you laughed and raised your arms in the air. "The fuck is up with that?!"
You both laughed.
"I mean seriously! I'm a nice guy!"

"Oh man~!" you sighed after you both calmed down. "Vee, I...I don't wanna walk back home."
"You can just sleep here, it's cool."
"No~ but I wanna go back to my boyfriend." your eyebrows furrowed. "I miss him...I haven't seen him all day."
"Aw~ that's cute~!"
"(Y/n)?" you heard Senku's voice behind the door, then you heard the door opening.
You and Vee gasped.
"You've summoned him!" she exclaimed and you laughed.

"Hi Senku~." you waved sloppily. "Do you know what time it is?"
"Passed midnight."
"Are you serious?" Vee said. "God we're weak."
"Could you get me home please?" you rolled your head to look at him.
"No, you're too heavy."
"Oh wow. What a couple." Vee chuckled.
"Nah, he's the weak one."
"Just stand up and walk." he said, frowning.
"I can't~ I'm too tired."
He sighed.
"I'll give you two blankets."
"Aw thank you~."
"No need." Vee raised her legs to help her stand up. "I can go."
"'Kay~ bye~." you waved.

Senku left too but soon came back with a sleeping bag.
"Senku~."
"What?"
"Stay with me~."
"I still have work to do."
"You can work here, I promise I'll be quiet."
"...okay."

He left again and came back with blueprints, a blanket for himself, and he sat at the table as you snuggled into the sleeping bag. For a while, you couldn't hear anything but the ember cracking in the furnace and the sound of Senku's charcoal on the paper. You looked up at him, his back was facing you, but you could tell he was very focused, as always. Your eyebrows furrowed, and you started to crawl your way towards him and slowly wrapped your arms around his waist.

"The hell?" you heard him asked.
"I'm sorry." you said in a little voice, your head on his lap and your eyes closed. "Can I just stay like this for a while?""
A moment passed. He smiled and ruffled your hair.
"Sure." he said before going back to work.
"Goodnight~." you said, your voice muffled.
"'night."
You smiled.
'Couple snuggle moment, acquired!!!'

You fell asleep a while ago, and Senku stretched his arms, yawning. He put his charcoal down and gathered his papers together. He looked down at you before looking up at the ceiling and sighed.
"My leg's numb." he frowned.

He slowly pushed you away, trying not to wake you up. At some pount you shuffled a bit in your sleep and he froze. He waited a moment before continuing. Now that you were out of the way, he hit his leg until he could feel it again. Now he could go home. But instead he wrapped himself in his blanket, lied down beside you and peacefully fell asleep.
