This took place when I was around the age of 14.

So, one night, maybe around 7 or 8 p.m, I was bringing my parents' laundry basket and folded clothes to their room because I wanted to get it out of the way so I could do my laundry.
I put the basket on their bed, when I heard some strange noises. I do have to mention that I indeed have three cats, one sister, and my parents. But here's the thing, all of the cats were outside, (because they like catching mice and shit), my sibling, whom we'll call Amy for now, was outside in the hot tub, my mother was at work since she had the graveyard shift, and my dad was on the couch relaxing.

So, I hear this noise, and start thinking, 'What the hell was that?'  and, 'Was that my dad?'.

I turn to face the window, where I saw the strange shadow appear, and I just kind of stood there in absolute horror as it gets on all fours and disappeared.
After a few seconds of standing in shock, I hear what sounds like a full grown man, running on all fours toward me from the window.
I bolted out of the room, (which is across from mine), and straight into my own room.

I look back to see if I could catch anything moving, and there were two weird yellowish-white eyes staring back at me. I started to kind of laugh to try and calm my nerves.

About a minute later Amy comes out of her room, (she was 11 or 12 around this time), and asks me what was wrong, and told me that I sounded like a panicked owl or monkey. I explained and yeah. She laughed, and my dad only sighed and laughed. So it was all okay in the end.
