3rd person POV

Six years had passed. It had been a long journey filled to the brim with action and adventure, but finally, it had happened.

The Strawhat Pirates had landed on Raftel.

Luffy lead as everyone walked to where the One Piece was waiting, according to Aoi's visions. Everyone was exhausted, bloody and bruised from the fight with the marines. The rest of the Strawhat Fleet stood guard outside, ensuring that no marines would pass through to the main crew.

"Wow." Nami breathed as they entered the treasury room where Gol D Roger's treasure rested. The room was piled with gold, gems and artifacts.

"This is amazing!" Chopper said.

"This... Is my father's life work?" Ace asked. Aoi squeezed his hand.

"But the question is, which is the One Piece?" Robin asked.

"There. In that chest." Aoi said, pointing at a chest up on a pedistal in a small flight of stairs.

"Captain, your crown awaits." Aoi said. Luffy swollowed.

"Zoro, Aoi. You two follow me up." The now 25 year old man said. Aoi and Zoro nodded and followed their captain to the chest. Luffy laid his hands on the chest's lid. The rest of the crew stood around at the foot of the stairs, watching as Luffy stood before the chest that would make his dream come true.

Luffy looked to Zoro. The green haired swordsman nodded at his captain and best friend. Luffy looked at Aoi. Aoi nodded at her little brother. Luffy stared down at the chest and took a deep breath.

"Here goes nothing." He whispered and opened the chest. He stared down in to it with a blank, unreadable expression.

"Luffy?" Aoi asked.

"It's... A letter." Luffy said. He unfolded the letter and read it. He suddenly laughed out.

"Aoi." He said. Aoi stepped closer and read the note. She smiled brightly.

"Well, what do you know." She said.

"What is it?!" Nami called out.

"May I, captain?" Aoi asked. Luffy nodded.

"It's a letter from Gol D Roger himself." Aoi said.

"What does it say?" Usopp asked. Aoi began to read the letter.

"Dear Brave Pirate,
Congratulations. You have found the treasure I have gathered in my life. I know what you are wondering, Brave Pirate. Which one of these pieces of gold, which gem, which artifact is the One Piece?
Let me remind you, Brave Pirate. The One Piece is my greatest treasure.
In my life, I gained everything the world had to offer. As well as much more. I gained the greatest treasure a man could ever have.
A family.
The One Piece is my world, my love and my greatest creation.
The One Piece is my son, Ace. Should my son be a pirate captain, then he is indeed the King of Pirates. However, should he be a member of a pirate crew, then his captain is king.
So, Brave Pirate. Unless you have a crew member named Portgas D Ace, you are not my successor.
If by chance, it is my son reading this, then...
Dear Ace,
I never wanted to leave you behind with out so much as getting to hold you. I want you to know that I love you very much, and you and your mother are the greatest treasure of my life.
Be free now. Wether be my son as captain or my son as crew member, Brave Pirate, you have been king from the first moment my son joined your crew.

The First King of the Pirates, Gol D Roger."

Aoi read. Everyone, with the exception of Luffy and Aoi, gapped at Ace. Ace stood there shocked, staring up at Aoi, Zoro and Luffy.

"Shishishishi! Ace is the One Piece!" Luffy suddenly was clinging on to Ace.

"I found the One Piece! I'M KING OF THE PIRATES!" Luffy laughed. Ace smiled at Luffy, then at Aoi.

"So, then that means we've been part of the Pirate King's crew this entire time." Nami said.

"Hold on a second, Luffy." Ace said. Ace walked behind the pedistal, then returned with a coat in his arms. He drapped the coat on Luffy's shoulders.

"Congratulations, Lu. You're officially the Pirate King." Ace said. Everyone smiled happily.

"So what's next for us?" Brook asked. Everyone looked at him.

"I don't mean to sound like a downer, but is this the end for us?" Brook asked.

"Whoa, Brook, slow down!" Aoi said. Everyone looked back up at her.

"After all, we've only been on three seas! East blue, Grandline and New World! We still have the North Blue, South Blue and West Blue to explore, and I'm certain that everyone we picked up here in the Grandline and New World would like to see the East Blue." Aoi said.

"That's right, we have the rest of the world to see! And one of the places I want to go to... Is Baterilla!" Luffy cheered. Ace smiled, knowing why Luffy wanted to go there.

"Then our adventure continues!" Nami cheered. Everyone let out a shout. Aoi smiled and bowed her head.

"I hate to say it... But my journey ends here." She said. Everyone stared at her.

"What? But, Aoi-" Usopp started.

"Please, hear me me out. I know that I swore I'd stay by your side, Luffy, but.... It's been six years. My son is now eight years old and my daughter seven. They have grown up waiting for their parents to return home. I promised that I would return before they went to their own adventures on the sea, so, if you don't mind, I'd like to return to Dawn Island in the East Blue and spend these next years with my babies." Aoi said. Everyone shared a look.

"I have to agree with Aoi. My journey ends here, too. I want to be a father." Ace said. Luffy grinned.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go back to the East Blue!" He cheered. Aoi stared at him, bewildered.

"I want to see everyone again, too! And I want to meet my niece and nephew! You didn't think that I'd let you guys go all the way back alone, did ya?" Luffy laughed.

"Set sail for the East Blue!" Luffy yelled. Everyone smiled.

"Yes, sir, captain!" Everyone cheered.

The Strawhat Fleet watched as the crew left the building, Marines waiting anxiously, along with the Revolutionary army. Aoi's head raised and her mouth opened.

"Clear the way for Monkey D Luffy, King of the Pirates!" Her voice rang out clear and true. The Revolutionaries and the fleet let out a cheer and made way for the King. When the marines refused to move, Aoi cleared a path with her water.

"No one will stand in our way." She said. Pictures of the crew were taken. Aoi couldn't help but smile, despite the sad thought in her head.

Her story was over.
