<everyone I tagged must go back and read the chapters before this and the description rto fully understand why I tagged them. Unless you know what's up already>

I look in the mirror and look at myself. I mess my peach-y hair up a bit and tuck it into a loose bun.

  As I turn to leave, I see a bright red dot on my cheek, amongst the other less red ones. It's a huge zit. "Really?! Come on!" I mess with it for about 2 minutes, until I give up and put my shoes on.

  I grab my satchel and some potions. I decide to take ones that heal your wounds, ones that summon allies, and ones that turn you purple, because you never know. I rush downstairs and grab a small loaf of bread off of the table. "Natasha! Marshall! If you're not ready in 2 minutes, I'm leaving!" I yell.

After 2 minuets have past, I see Natasha running down the stairs, bow and arrow in hand. I wait for Marshall, but he doesn't come, so we leave without him.

  Natasha and I walk down the gravel road that's littered with flowers, when I hear her stomach growl. "I should've got something to eat at home." She mumbled. I sigh and hand her my bread, since I don't usually eat it anyway. "Thanks!" She wolfs it down.

  "HEY!!! GET BACK HERE!!!" I hear someone yell. I look back and it's Marshall, running after us with his school books and wand.

  He finally catches up to us when we reach the school building. "Why did you leave me?!" He grumbled, smoothing his "Paris Green" hair back down. "You were too slow." I shrugged. We hear the warning bell ring, and we all dash off to our classes.

  I rush into class, sitting down right next to my best friend, Lukas. His "Indian Red" hair was pulled back into a ponytail, revealing all of his freckles. His jasmine eyes were like deserts, but so full of emotion. His black sweater hugged his body so I could see every muscle in his upper body. (Not that he really had any.) His light skin had a bit of sunburn from working in the field. "Finally! I thought you'd be late!" He laughed. "Me too!" I got out my books from my satchel. "Did you study for today's test on herbology?" He said, getting his own books out. I freeze. "T-Test? We have a test today?!" I ask nervously. " Griffin, don't tell me you didn't study!" He said, his mouth agape. "This is a really hard test!" I slump in my chair as Ms. Basilin walks in.

  "Ms. Griffin, someone's here to visit you in the office." Ms. Basilin said, sitting down at her desk. "Who would be here to visit me?" I ask her, gathering my things. "Someone of utmost importance." Yeah. Thanks. That totally helped. I waved 'bye' to Lukas as I left the classroom,  and started navigating my way to the office.

  I open the door to the office, and I'm shocked at what I see.

  Princess Ali is standing there, in all her glory. I stand in awe of her, taking in every detail. Her skin is beautifully tanned to a light mocha brown, and she was wearing a light pink silk dress that went to her knee. She was wearing a light pink tiara on her long curly periwinkle hair that went to her shoulders. And I mean curly. Her bright lavender eyes sparkled like a galaxy that was protected by her long beautiful lashes. I could stare at her for hours.

  "Griffin, please follow me." Said Princess Ali. She walked out of the door, and everyone in the office motioned for me to follow her.

  I stepped outside the school building, jogging to catch up to her. The streets were quiet, since all of the kids were in school and the adults were working.

  "I have an offer to make you." She said calmly, like this was an everyday thing. "W-What's the offer?" I looked down at my clothes, wishing I had dressed nicer. "I will give you an extensive education and the ability to live comfortably if you accept. The kingdom needs a team of heroes who fight against evil. The royal family had tried knights and magicians and witches but this is our last option. We have deduced that you, with the right amount of training, would be a perfect fit for the team." She stopped suddenly, striking a persuasive pose. "What do you say? Are you in?"

  KEEP CALM. KEEP. CALM. "W-Well, it is something to consider, obviously, uhm- am I allowed to bring anyone? Like to the team?" She thought it over. "They would have to be approved by us, but yes." "Also, what happens to my family?" I pretty much run things at the  house, so leaving would be a HUGE change in all of our lives. "They'll travel with you to your new home, of course." That's a relief. That means they'll have magical servants to do everything for them, which will make our lives a lot easier.

  I took a seat on a nearby bench, since my knees started to wobble. "This is so much to process..." She took a seat next to me. "I suppose it is. How about I get back to you in the morning? That should give you enough time to think it over."

  "Thank you, your highness. I will have it decided in the morning." "Farewell." She waved politely and left, climbing into a carriage tag pulled up not too long ago. I started walking home.

  I walked down the a road, kicking rocks and humming. It was so eerie, yet so calm. Barren, but inviting. Sketchy, but harmless-

  My thoughts were interrupted by a swift kick in leg. "aaAAUGH!" As I kneeled in pain, I saw a dark figure laughing at me. I immediately knew who it was. "Come on, Lemon! That hurt." Lemon stood there laughing his head off as his coal black hair danced in front of his sparkling hazel eyes. His dark clothes and his gaze immediately sets off a dark persona, but somehow, with one smile, all that melts away. He pulled his hair into a small ponytail grinned at me. He started doing all of these cool warrior moves, but I just shook my head. "Aw, what. You can't hang out with your ol' pal?" "Not right now, Lemon. I got a lot on my mind. Maybe next time." He frowned, and actually looked kind of disappointed. "Fine. Whatever." He disappeared into an alley way and I continue on my way home.

  I started thinking about who I was to bring. I stepped in the front door.

  Hopefully it'll all be decided in the morning.
