7-8 months in...

Kaneki's P.O.V.

I laid in bed, feeling very tired. I had a hand on my stomach and my other arm over my eyes, to block out the sunlight. I don't have the blanket over me, I would feel to hot if I did. Lately I haven't been able to stay awake for long periods of time, 4 hours at most I would stay awake. Maybe this is just how I am in the final stages of pregnancy. But when I am awake, I eat so the baby doesn't starve.

"Do you want to go to the grocery store with me?" Hide said as he walked in the bedroom.

"No, I just want to lay around, sleep, and eat. Like I've been doing for the past week." I said in a tired voice.

"But you like to go to the store with me. It's a reason for you to get out of the house." He said as he moved my legs a little bit, and sat on the edge of the bed. I moved my arm off my eyes to look at him.

"If I go people, I don't know, will ask me a million questions." I said before sitting up and I sat on the edge of the bed, next to Hide. "People like put their hand on my stomach, it makes me feel uncomfortable. Because I don't know them and I only feel comfortable when you do that. And people refer to me as a 'she'. You know how I hate that."

"Oh, I know."

"I know I was born a girl, but I never really felt that way. It is a little weird for a transgender man, to want to give birth. Let alone get pregnant. And look how big I am." I said referring to my stomach. I'm a lot bigger then I should be. Then again very pregnancy is different.

"You know I'll love you no matter your size." He said as he kissed the top of my head and put his arm around me. I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Hide, is it wrong to say that I'm sacred? Sacred that I might do something wrong in being a parent."

"No, it's not. In fact I'm a little sacred too."

"Really?"

"Yes really."

"But you want to know something?"

"Mm?" He hummed in response.

"I think you'll be a fun dad."

"What makes you say that?"

"Well, you know a lot about the latest music. And know a lot of bands."

"What about your taste in music?"

"Hide, I like to listen to classical music."

"What's wrong with that? The kid might like the music you listen to."

"Maybe your right. Now you should go get those groceries, you know I need to eat."

"Okay, is there anything you want?"

"Not really."

"Alright, I'll be back in awhile." He said before standing up. And I laid back down on the bed.

"Love you." I said as he was about to walk out the bedroom door.

"Love you too." He said before walking out the door.
