2 days later...

Hide's P.O.V.

I came home from work. I said the usual 'honey I'm home!' When I walked in the door. I took off my shoes and put them by the door. I didn't hear a response from Kaneki. I miss when he would respond to me when I came home. I took off my hat and put it on a wall hook that we put our jackets on, before going upstairs.

I opened the bedroom door and saw Kaneki sleeping. The blanket was just over his legs. He wasn't wearing his hoodie, it was on the floor. I guess he got a little hot for once. His t-shirt was pulled up enough to show his stomach. He was also hugging one of my pillows. His cheek was being squished because he was pressing the side of his face against his pillow. And his mouth was slightly open too, he could be drooling. It was god damn adorable.

I walked over to him and sat on the edge of the bed, before I gently rubbed his arm. "Kaneki, wake up." I said sweetly. He moved a little in his sleep. I continued to rub his arm and tell him to wake up. He mumbled a little bit before waking up. And he looked up at me.

"Welcome home." He said in a horse voice before rolling over and hugging me around my waist. He laid his head on my lap. I rubbed his back in loving circles.

"Did you have a good day?" I asked.

"More like a tiring one."

"Did you feel suddenly tired before laying down?" He nodded his head. "Was Nishiki around when it happened? But he told me you were fine."

"No, it happened after he left."

"Were you already in bed when it happened?"

"No, I was walking out of the bathroom when it happened."

I let out a sigh before saying,"I hate it when you have one of these episodes."

"Episodes?"

"That's just what been calling it."

"Oh, okay."

"Hey, do you think you can sit up?"

"I think I can. Why?"

"You'll see." I said before he let go of me and sat up. I helped him a little bit. I got him to sit on the end of the bed, his legs dangling off the edge. I opened a drawer and got one of my old black t-shirts. I also got a pair of scissors, a needle, and thread. I cut the sleeves off, most of the bottom, and cut down the back. So, it was like a sheet of cloth.

"Can you take off your shirt and bandages?" I asked. He blushed and nodded. He took off his shirt and bandages. I had to help him with the bandages. He crossed his arms over his chest. Trying to cover up even though I was behind him.

"You're going to need to move your arms." He hesitated a little bit before he moved his arms. Then I put the cloth over his chest. And wrapped it around and made sure it was tight enough. I had already put the thread in the needle. So I started to sew. Mom taught me how to sew because I would keep cutting my pants because I played a little rough sometimes when I was little. So, she got feed up and taught me how to sew my own pants.

"What are you doing?" He asked after turning his head to look over his shoulder at me.

"I'm making you this because I could tell it's a lot of work to unwrap bandages and then rewrap them. With this you'll just have to slide it on and off. I'm just trying to help you out."

"Thank you then." After a little bit I got done sewing.

"Put your shirt back on. I want to see if it can work." I said before he got his shirt and put it on. I got up and looked. It works maybe even better then the bandages. You couldn't tell he was hiding something. "How do you feel in it?"

"There's not as much heaviness on my chest. And it feels softer."

"It works then." After a little bit Kaneki held his hand in one of his hands and let out a small whimper. "Episode?" He nodded. "You're having two of these in one day?"

"This one isn't has strong as the last one though." He said trying to reassure me.

"I'll lay down with you. If you want." He nodded. We laid down on our sides of the bed. He snuggled in my chest, like he always does. We wrapped our arms around each other. And I put the blanket over us.

"I love you." I said before he fell asleep. I smiled and kissed him on the head.
