5 years later...

Kaneki's P.O.V.

Hide got a job at the CCG as a newspaper guy. Him being apart of the CCG can give us ghouls at Anteiku can get a heads up of what they are doing in the area. And me and Hide had gotten married a year ago. After we got married and our honey moon, we got a house. It had two floors and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedroom and bathroom that was upstairs was ours. And the other bedroom and bathroom were for guests, and was also down stairs. Usually Hinami stays over because Touka gets busy. But sometimes Touka will stay over too.

Right now me and Hide laid in bed, to get some sleep. We went to bed an hour and a half ago. Hide was already asleep, but I couldn't sleep. I had to tell him about what happened. I just stared at his sleeping face thinking this over. I made the decision to tell him. I know I should have told him years ago, but now I was ready to tell him now. I sat up and gently shook him awake.

"Hide, wake up." I said shacking him harder. He groaned and opened his eyes.

"Kaneki what's wrong?" He asked tiredly.

"I need to tell you something."

"Can it wait till morning? It's almost 11."

"No it can't." I said looking away. Then he sat up and cupped my cheeks, causing me to look at him. It was dark but he probably could see my unsure face. I was starting to think I shouldn't tell him. But I needed to get this off my chest.

"Talk to me." He said.

"Do you remember? When I was pregnant." He nodded. "The baby wasn't yours.... I was raped."

"What?" He was surprised. "Is that why you were crying so much and tried to attack me?" I nodded.  "Who did that to you?"

"Some random ghoul. A-and when the baby died, I knew it would happen. I took a pill that I shouldn't have taken. After the baby died, I knew what I did was wrong." I said as I looked down and started to play with the ring on my finger. Hide moved his hand under my chin and made me look up at him.

"Kaneki it's in the past. It's okay if you think I'm mad, but I'm not. I still love you." I couldn't say anything. All I could do was nod.

"Come on let's go back to sleep. If we don't go back to sleep we're probably going to be angry at everything."

"Okay." Then we laid back down. I snuggled against his chest, like I always do. He wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped my arms around him. He played with my hair a little bit. After a little while I fell asleep.

Time skip~~ one week later~~still Kaneki's P.O.V.~~

Me and Hide had came home from a long day of work. We both sat on the couch in the living room. And we leaned in for a kiss. The next thing I knew we were making out. I had laid down, meaning Hide was on top of me. He held my legs against him, and squeezed one of my thighs. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"We should take this to our room." I said after we pulled away.

"Yeah, you're right." He said before we walked up the stairs. We closed the bedroom door and had a night of love.
