5'0 (slightly shorter than raph) and around 115-118 pounds. fair skin, bright brown eyes, and dark freckles on her cheeks, nose, and shoulders. straight, waist-length brunette hair worn in a braid down her back. rounder, youthful face with softer facial features, such as a button nose. visibly scrawny and underweight.

Scarlet's parents struggled to make ends meet, and as a result, their daughter became a foster child at just four years old. She spent the next five years in the foster system, but was miserable–she moved from home to home constantly, and rarely saw her parents, to the point she barely remembered them. When her parents lost custody of her at age nine, she ran away to find them, believing they were out there somewhere. However, her dreams of a happy were quickly crushed, and she found herself struggling to survive on the streets of New York. Over the course of the next four years, Scarlet taught herself how to get by, stealing and sleeping wherever she could. She did her best to stay hidden all the while, unwilling to get caught and returned to foster care, the place in which she had suffered so much.

due to her troubled upbringing, scarlet is jaded and distrustful of others. growing up on the streets has forced her to become uber-cautious and perpetually anxious, always suspicious that someone might harm her. she believes the only person she can truly trust to be there for her is herself. additionally, thanks to being forced to grow up too fast, she can be considered surprisingly mature and insightful for her age. beneath this shell of hers, however, is a young dreamer who wants nothing more than to be happy. if she gets comfortable with someone, her more childish side comes out and she proves herself to be playful, energetic, and sweet.
