4'11 and roughly 118-120 pounds, making her small, scrawny, and fragile-looking. somewhat-pale complexion, flatter/wider nose, and a rounder face. her black hair falls in slight waves around her shoulders and is usually worn half-braided. her eyes are brown and have a monolid shape.

Young Aimi Desarin was the owner of Desarin's Tea Emporium, a tea shop that had been in the family for generations. One day, a young man by the name of Kenta dropped by. The two quickly hit it off. Kenta began visiting Aimi's shop frequently, and their meetings turned into dates as they began a romantic relationship. The two eventually married, and when Aimi got pregnant, they moved to Jamanakai Village to settle down. Aimi kept running the family business from their home. All was well until Kenta disappeared under mysterious circumstances, a mere three months before the birth of his child.

Their daughter, Kira, was born and raised in Jamanakai. She was an extremely shy and quiet child, unable to bring herself to interact with other people her age. It became clear social situations weren't her strong suit, so she dropped out of public school as a preteen to help Aimi run the tea shop, studying in her spare time. Kira grew up ever-curious about her father, who she wished more than anything she could've met, and during her youth she began to struggle with insomnia. Starting as a little girl, she made a habit of staying up late at night and talking the moon, hoping that her father could hear her wherever he was. At age sixteen, Kira's life changed for good. One night, a mysterious stranger appeared at her home, bringing with them shocking secrets about the Desarin family. It was then Kira learned that there was far more to her father—and to her—than she originally thought.

the village wallflower, kira is polite but quiet by nature. she has a hard time socializing, and would rather sit and watch the world go by than be a part of it. despite her shy and awkward nature, she has a kind heart and can be very compassionate toward people she manages to bond with. her biggest flaw is her lack of self-confidence. she doesn't see herself as anything more than a simple village girl, and as a result doesn't believe in herself. she doesn't like to challenge herself either, and tends to quit when things get too hard rather than keep trying.
