Oh well- let me begin. So it is obvious that Kou likes Nene and she is not interested in him. That would seem a little rough, but Kou doesn't give up yet. As we get to see though the show and Manga, he understands Nene's feelings and will support her no matter what. 

Even so Kou is... one of those Nene's "Not my type" boys. She doesn't show him any romantic feelings and is more likeable to call him only a friend. This ship is kinda cute, but I can only see them as friends and nothing more.
