Snowbird - Qrow Branwen x Winter Schnee - RWBY

Ah, the first Qrow x character ship. The one that began it all...

I'm going to be honest, until Clover Ebi came along, I didn't think Qrow could handle a relationship. He was a flirt, an alcoholic, and a depressed mass. Things you would not want in a relationship. 

Winter is cold, demanding, and not very emphatic. All are also things you would not want in a relationship. Honestly, I don't ship her with anyone. She values her work over people and the only examples of love she has are her parents, and that wasn't very healthy. Plus, she has her father's short temper, so that wouldn't work either. 

Their first interaction, I definitely did see Qrow flirting. That is something I do not deny. Do I think that means he liked her, no. Guys, he was drunk, drunk people are dumb, plus vol 3 Qrow seems like the type of person to flirt with a girl just to get a reaction, not because he's interested. 

Does Winter like him, even a tiny bit? I don't think so. Again, she's too focused on work and I feel like if she were to fall for someone, it would be a person who had the same belief sets as she does, which Qrow has proven not to have.

I kind of headcanon Winter as aroace, just because it makes sense to me. Maybe that's just me though. 

Also, the age gap is kind of awkward. I know once they are adults, it doesn't really matter, but like, it's still weird. To think that he was probably a fully fledged huntsman when she was born, it's kind of strange.

Summery: Qrow flirts, not actually interested. Winter Aroace, so no romance for her.
