Ladybug - RWBY

Ladybug - Ruby Rose x Blake Belladonna - RWBY

As a member of the lgbtq+ community, I have gotten asked if I ship every single lgbtq+ ship there is. The answer, nope.

So, when asked if I ship ladybug, it's the same answer: nope.

And here's why:

I wouldn't say that I am a multishipper. There are very few characters I ship with multiple people (we'll get into that later), if I like a ship, then I REALLY like a ship and cannot imagine those characters with anyone else. Blake and Ruby are not on the tiny list of characters I have multiple ships for.

Rosegarden is so adorable and so in-character, I love it. Bumbleby is just so well written, I also love that. (Go read my review on those two ships.) I can't break up my ships.

Now, time to actually talk about Ladybug and my analysis of it.

These two interact the least out of Team RWBY. Sure, they consider each other family and are really good friends, but their one-screen time together separate from the team is really short. That doesn't give me a lot to work with, especially with seven volumes of content. That's my main reason, there isn't enough chemistry for it to work for me.

Blake and Ruby are both really introverted and slightly antisocial people, especially at the beginning of the series. Put two introverted people in a room together, and nothing happens. They are content with keeping to themselves, so neither one of them would reach out to start a conversation. Their relationship would be really quiet and uneventful. Maybe that's good, maybe that's bad, idk. But it doesn't work for me. There is no balance.

Summery: I don't exactly see why people ship them, and I don't ship them.

(But, I will say it once again, I respect people who do ship them!)

Tell me what you think! Do you agree or disagree, and why?

Do you have a ship you want me to review, I'm sure you do! Leave it in the comments or even DM it to me, and I will review it asap!
