xi. Another love

Season one, chapter eleven

"I know I should let you go
I'm sorry, goodbye now
I'm sorry, goodbye for real"

THEA REMAINED SILENT during the journey to Mun's house, reflecting on the two girls she encountered at Mun's school. These girls were her closest friends before her accident and the subsequent fallout that followed. They were like sisters to Thea, and memories of the joyful times they shared were deeply buried in her mind. Now, these memories resurfacing are causing her to feel guilty for drifting apart from them.

Do they still hold memories of her? Do they still cherish the joyful times they shared? She yearned to recreate those moments with them.

Thea fidgeted with the material of her dark hoodie, her eyes fixed on the view beyond the tinted car window. In the meantime, Mun surreptitiously glanced at Thea multiple times during their journey to his residence. He was aware that something had somehow affected Thea's demeanor, yet he was unaware of the exact reason behind it. Mun was eager to discover the cause in order to offer her the support she needed, but he was unsure of how to accomplish this given his incomplete mastery of his abilities.

The opulent black vehicle halted in front of Mun's modest residence. Upon acknowledging his arrival at the destination, Mun glanced at Thea with hesitation before extending his hand to open the car door and finally set foot on the rugged and firm pavement of the street. The car door shut with a gentle click as Mun exited. It was at that moment, for the first time during the journey, that Thea sensed the void beside her, longing for the comfort that Mun's presence brought.

"About today... thank you" Mun stated calmly and without showing emotion, as he bowed in appreciation. His gaze was directed towards Hana and Jangmul inside the vehicle, visible through the open window on Hana's side

"No problem. Just focus on doing your best as a counter. I'll clean up all the mess. Do you understand?" Jangmul responded confidently with a smile, assuring that he would manage everything

"Yes" Mun expressed his appreciation with a nod, directing his gaze towards Hana with a tender expression "Hana, Thea" He then shifted his attention to Thea, who was already looking at him, anticipating a response. Mun held his gaze on her for a brief moment longer

"Go on in" Hana observed the quiet glances exchanged between the two adolescents and couldn't shake the feeling of being somewhat out of place. She worried that things may not unfold as the teenagers desired, even if they didn't verbalize it "They're waiting for you" Hana informed, her gaze fixed on Mun in a manner that encouraged him to promptly step inside his residence as his grandparents were expecting him

Mun's gaze remained fixed on Thea for a moment longer. Reflecting on the recent encounter at the deserted factory, where she had planted a kiss on his cheek, Mun felt a rush of emotions. The gesture had left him somewhat breathless and his heart pounding. He found himself pondering whether Thea reciprocated his feelings. Should he rely on his instincts or seek confirmation? Why is love often so elusive?

"All right. Good night" Mun replied softly, reflecting on the unforgettable sensation of Thea's gentle kiss on his cheek, a moment he will always cherish and wish to experience on his own lips

Jangmul acknowledged him with a nod and then operated a button on his side of the door to close the car window. Mun interpreted this action as a signal to bid farewell. Subsequently, he pivoted, retrieved his folded cane from his backpack, and made his way inside his residence.

The car abruptly halted upon reaching the corner of Mun's house, coming to a rest on the side of the road. Hana and Thea exchanged puzzled glances, awaiting an explanation from Jangmul for his unexpected maneuver.

Jangmul expressed, "Just a little peek and we'll go" glancing at Hana by his side and then at Thea in the rearview mirror. Without pausing for a reply, he exited the vehicle, anticipating potential objections

Thea observed the immaculate fabric covering the car floor, reflecting Jangmul's diligent maintenance of his vehicle. In contrast, Hana sighed and prepared to open the car door, but paused as she recognized that Thea had no plans to leave the car.

Hana gently asked, "Thea. Aren't you coming?" Only when she was with Thea did Hana's distant and aloof demeanor fall away. In Thea's presence, Hana felt free to be her authentic self without any fear of showing her vulnerabilities

Thea was her soft spot.

Thea snapped back to attention when she heard her name being called "Oh, sure." she responded. With a strained smile, Thea looked up and opened the car door, making her way out into the chilly, shadowy evening

Hana observed Thea as she made her way towards Jangmul, who was positioned in front of the fence surrounding Mun's residence, gazing into the compact backyard. Hana shut the car door and followed suit by walking over. Thea placed her hands on the concrete fence and gazed intently at the activity occurring inside.

Mun showed his grandparents that he could walk independently on the other side of the fence, without the use of his cane and without any limp. Seeing this, his grandparents were moved to tears of happiness as they embraced Mun with immense affection, making Thea feel a hint of jealousy.

Thea's sole wish was to reunite with her family, to properly say her goodbyes and alleviate any regrets she held about not being a better daughter and sister. She yearned for a comforting embrace and reassurance that everything would eventually be alright, and she wanted to express her frustration towards fate for taking her loved ones away and forcing her to endure this suffering alone.

Tears glistened in their eyes, resembling small sparkling diamonds in the moonlight. Thea noticed Hana turning away with a sniffle, prompting her to softly laugh at the sight of her own tears, wiping them away as they fell down her cheeks. Evidently, the two bore a striking resemblance in this moment.

"What is it? Is this making you two miss your families?" Jangmul playfully inquired, his gaze directed towards the two girls who had alike backgrounds and had found solace in each other

"No, it's not" Hana quickly responded, wiping away her tears with a composed demeanor "Let's go" She inquired, making her way towards the vehicle and opening the door. Thea followed suit, wiping her tears with a smile and getting into the car behind her sister

Jangmul gazed at the two young women with a sorrowful expression. He understood the hardships they had faced, having lost their families and witnessed their tragic deaths at a young age. Despite their circumstances, they bravely confronted a harsh and unjust world.

However, they had overcome the inevitability of death and came together again to provide companionship for one another. They demonstrated love and kinship despite not being biologically related as sisters.

Thea scrutinized her appearance in the mirror, making sure her hair was perfectly curled and her curtain bangs framed her petite face elegantly. She dressed in a white t-shirt with a bow embellishment at the neckline, a pink cropped tweed jacket from Chanel, and a matching skirt, all in preparation for her Saturday morning meeting with SuHo. Utilizing this chance for some personal time, she decided to go on a date with him, with the intention of expressing her genuine emotions to him.

Upon spotting SuHo waiting for her on the other side of the glass door at the restaurant, Thea emitted a deep sigh. She felt a combination of nerves and genuine excitement upon seeing him. However, she was determined not to extend the date as she had more pressing matters to take care of than engage in clandestine meetings with boys. This was particularly important because she was aware that if Hana discovered her secret rendezvous, she would be furious and likely divulge the information to others to bring her down. Fully aware of Hana's tendencies, she knew this was a real possibility.

"Hey..." Suho greeted with a smile on his face. Thea returned a hesitant smile as she observed Suho's attire. Suho complimented, "You look stunning," admiring Thea's appearance carefully

"Thanks I suppose..." Thea responded, expressing a slight unease and anxiety in her tone while adjusting the strap of her Gucci bag on her right shoulder

"Shall we go?" SuHo inquired in a subdued manner, sensing his anxiety escalating upon witnessing Thea's demeanor towards him. He acknowledged that he had no justification for feeling angry towards her since he was the one responsible for creating this distance between them

They proceeded in silence, enveloped by a palpable sense of unease. Thea repeatedly glanced at her phone, hoping for a quicker passage of time to return home. In truth, she harbored a desire to be with Mun instead of SuHo, envisioning a scenario where she would be much happier. However, she harbored doubts about the likelihood of such a situation ever materializing.

Essentially, the reality is that she is unable to visit SuHo again because whenever she encounters him, she is reminded of Mun. From his smile, eyes, voice, laughter, to his attractive face. It is evident to her that the boy posed challenges, and she cannot pinpoint when it all began, but it was indeed quite unexpected. Moreover, she realizes that it would be unjust to SuHo, as he is not Mun, and she cannot treat him as such as it would disappoint both of them.

SuHo startledly asked, "Do you hate me?" disrupting the previously calm atmosphere. Thea was taken aback by the question and hesitated in formulating a response "Aren't you going to say something?" SuHo impatiently questioned

I hate you

Why did you have to come back?

Why now?

"You were going to come back. If you were going to come back like this, why did you do that back then?" Thea inquired, clutching her Gucci bag tightly and feeling reluctant to go back, as she anticipated encountering Mun instead of SuHo.

"Waiting for me... I was afraid it would give you a hard time" replied SuHo with sincerity, his words spoken smoothly as if he had practiced them multiple times

"This was so much harder for me than waiting for you" Thea admitted, her gaze fixed on the ground, studying the cracks in the pavement beneath her steps. Without warning, she gasped in astonishment as SuHo took hold of the hand clutching the strap of her bag

SuHo shared, "Me too, it was really hard. So I also... was finding out ways to come back. Even if dad didn't wake up, I would have returned to you" He gazed at Thea, hoping to communicate his heartfelt sentiments, however, she merely released his hand

"What if I forgot about you?" Thea inquired with hesitancy. In actuality, she might have been able to progress, but the memory of SuHo would always remain. SuHo had significantly influenced her life and had been more than just a boyfriend - he had been her closest companion, akin to a brother, before their romantic relationship began

Immediately and succinctly, SuHo responded,"Then I would've followed you around" prompting Thea to confirm what she had just heard

Upon seeing the sun rise, Thea was momentarily blinded by its rays. When she blinked and looked again, she felt her heart race at the sight of him. His unique curly hair, reminiscent of popcorn, his wide smile that seemed to light up the entire city, and his handsome face were all there, captivating her.

Mun...

However, the person she saw was not him, but SuHo. She wondered why she kept encountering him so frequently. Even now, she couldn't shake the feeling of being captivated by Mun's charm, as thoughts of him consumed her mind. Surprisingly, she found pleasure in this fixation.

"But if I still said that I didn't like you?" Thea gulped nervously, looking away from SuHo and making a conscious effort not to mistake him for Mun, recognizing that it was merely an illusion.

"Then I'd try begging while crying, and I'd also try seducing you"SuHo replied with assurance, as his hand trembled while delicately holding Thea's hand once more. "Thea..." SuHo spoke softly, adjusting a few strands of her brown hair behind her ear. "Please, look at me," he pleaded in a nearly desperate tone, and at last Thea met his gaze with tears forming in her eyes "For giving you a hard time... I'm sorry"

Thea felt a nervous lump in her throat and tried to calm herself. She tried to contain her frustration by biting her tongue. She couldn't see SuHo, only hear his voice, while Mun was the only one she could see. Despite this, she couldn't shake off the guilt she felt. Instead of feeling relieved to have moved on from SuHo, she felt guilty for finding someone else.

"What are you sorry for? I understand how you feel. I know it all, but seeing your face... reminded me of all those painful memories only" Thea expressed with a shaky voice, striving to remain composed and steady while suppressing the desire to weep

"I'm sorry about hurting you" Suho reiterated his regret once again, emphasizing that words alone cannot truly express his remorse for parting ways with her, for allowing her to leave, for bringing their relationship to an end

When Thea's fingers brushed against his, a recollection surfaced in her thoughts. SuHo standing in the rain, allowing the water to drench him instantly, staring upwards at the overcast sky. Despite his hair clinging to his face, Thea could discern tears flowing down his cheeks, sensing the anguish in his puffy brown eyes as though he had been weeping for an extended period. Subsequently, another recollection emerged, depicting SuHo sitting in the hospital's waiting area as his father received treatment, clutching a photograph of himself and Thea while shedding tears that landed on the picture.

After SuHo's memory began to fade, Thea fell into a somber silence. Tears welled up in her eyes as she lifted her head to gaze at SuHo. He endured significant hardships while alone in the United States, with only his ill father as family, whom he had to look after.

"You must also have been hurting. How hard it must have been for you in that far place. Without other family members... alone in the hospital, unable to do anything. You must have been hurting a lot" Thea blinked tears, her cheeks glistening with tears that resembled precious gemstones "I was so worried that I wanted to run to you immediately, but... what kind of money does an fourteen-year-old have?" She couldn't hold back her tears any longer, her voice faltering as she was overcome with emotion

She felt regretful for having harbored hatred towards him all this time.

"We were too young. Right?" SuHo asked, wearing a melancholic smile and tears flowing down his face

"Yeah" Thea nodded her head vigorously, dabbing away her tears reminiscent of a chil

"Don't cry. Come here" SuHo calmly reassured Thea, drawing her near to him and gently wiping away the tears streaming down her cheeks

Thea gently shut her eyes, relishing the sensation of SuHo's hand caressing her cheek. She allowed herself to lean into his touch, captivated by his fragrance, his warmth, and his presence. In that moment, all other distractions faded away from her mind, and she made the conscious decision to let go of any lingering thoughts about Mun.

After consoling Thea, they continued walking together, this time in a relaxed silence. Thea surreptitiously glanced at SuHo walking by her side. He was dressed in a white shirt tucked into beige pants, with his black hair neatly parted in the middle, giving him a sincere and approachable look, a hairstyle that was distinctly his own. He appeared even more appealing, and it was understandable why he was likely well-liked in school.

"Why are you looking at me like that" SuHo inquired with a subtle grin, observing how Thea was openly studying his facial features

Nevertheless, he found pleasure in her gaze directed towards him in such manner. He valued her undivided attention towards him.

Thea observed SuHo's physical features with greater scrutiny, taking note of his crimson, full lips and strong, broad shoulders. The perfectly fitted white shirt accentuated his masculinity even more. The familiar boy from her childhood had transformed into a mature man, exuding an otherworldly beauty that would surely attract admiration wherever he went.

"Hmm? Just because... it's seems like you've changed a lot" Thea observed, noting Suho's high-end black backpack draped over his broad shoulders. She noticed the keychain she had gifted him during their relationship, still in pristine condition "I still have this too. You didn't throw it away" she remarked wistfully, gesturing towards the keychain with her delicate finger.

"It's the same. Nothing has changed between us" SuHo stated with a subtle smile gracing his lips "Like back then" He further mentioned, reflecting on the past when they were united, blissfully unaware of their love as innocent children.

"Exactly when back then? When you were the crybaby?" Thea taunted with a mischievous grin. She distinctly remembered the moment SuHo had shed tears in her presence; it occurred shortly after his mother's passing when he stumbled upon his father with another woman.

Thea knew that SuHo harbored deep resentment towards his father, disliking him intensely for quickly moving on from his mother and showing little regard for her passing by being involved with another woman shortly after her death. However, when SuHo's father fell ill during a business trip to the United States, SuHo made the decision to travel there and care for him. This act of taking responsibility for his father's well-being made it difficult for Thea to hold any animosity towards SuHo, recognizing that it was a necessary and unique role only he could fulfill for his father.

"Why do you keep calling me a crybaby when I only cried once?" SuHo expressed his grievance, with the painful recollection of his mother's tragic passing resurfacing in his thoughts like a long-forgotten fragment returning to haunt him

"But you were a crybaby" Thea remarked, recalling the young boy at the comic book store who was overwhelmed with emotion and seeking comfort

"What are you doing tomorrow?" SuHo coughed slightly, redirecting the conversation to steer clear of the uncomfortable incident where Thea witnessed him in tears

"Why?"

I do not want to see you.

I do not want to see you again.

"So I can come see you," SuHo promptly responded, realizing the chance before him that he wasn't certain he could take advantage of

"I don't know, I usually have a very tight schedule" Thea replied contemplatively, placing a hand under her chin in a thoughtful manner. She was unsure if she would be available tomorrow, and even more uncertain about the possibility of seeing him again after revealing her true emotions

"Then you'll have to make room for me" Suho commented with a playful grin. With a warm gesture, he extended his hand and delicately held onto Thea's hand, as if it were a natural gesture for him "I want to know everything about you, everything that has happened these last years of my absence"

"Everything?" Thea asked, her eyes locked on their clasped hands, while SuHo guided her to an unknown destination, but she inexplicably placed her trust in him

"Everything" SuHo agreed wholeheartedly, nodding with a smile on his face as he looked back and led Thea by the hand

Despite her apprehension, she managed to muster a smile and acquiesced to let SuHo take the lead. Following the incident, she had refrained from venturing out onto the streets of Seoul for leisurely walks with anyone, fearing the unknown repercussions. A significant portion of her youth was spent confined, observing the world and grieving over her losses. Her joy dissipated early on, alongside her spirit, when her family perished, leaving her as the lone survivor and causing her to feel utterly bereft.

As SuHo guided her through the streets with his attempts at humor to bring a smile to her face, Thea was flooded with a sense of nostalgia. She easily identified the familiar streets and spotted the Prince comics shop in the distance, a location where they had created countless memories and where she witnessed his raw emotions following his mother's passing for the first time.

As they approached the comic store, Thea exhaled deeply. It had been some time since her last visit, and returning there stirred up memories of her past. However, being with SuHo provided her with reassurance that she was not alone. She felt a sense of comfort in his presence, dispelling her worries.

Upon stepping into the comic store, Thea was met with a serene and welcoming ambiance that brought a smile to her face. She meticulously examined every intricate element, making sure to remember them all. A slight laugh broke free as she noticed the store owner relaxed and immersed in a comic book behind the counter.

Thea joyfully greeted the man with astonishment upon realizing he was still there, exclaiming, "Oh, sir, you're still here!" She eagerly walked towards the counter with a youthful enthusiasm

"Park Athena?" inquired the individual with lengthy hair, as his eyes widened upon hearing Thea's voice."Welcome! It's been so long! God, you've grown a lot!" He expressed, pretending to brush away tears as he moved the comic book he had been engrossed in

"It's nice to see you again after such a long time" Thea warmly greeted, showing her respect by bowing her head and offering a gentle smile. The man in question was a significant figure from her past; Thea used to frequent his store regularly during her youth, and he held a special place in her heart as she and SuHo were his only companions when he was alone. However, when the man learned about Thea's family situation and wanted to visit her, she had already vacated her residence. It appeared as though all traces of her had disappeared, leading him to speculate that her uncles or other relatives may have taken her away from there

"Yes yes, I'm glad to see you too little Attie" he greeted with a smile. Despite not showing it, he felt a sense of nostalgia upon seeing her and learning about her well-being. "Oh, did you two make up yet? SuHo told me what happened and ever since he came back he's been coming every day looking for you, even though I told him that..." SuHo intervened by resting a hand on his mouth to avoid any further awkwardness. They exchanged meaningful looks before agreeing silently. "Please, take a seat. The meal is on the house," the man stated with a forced smile, implying a hidden motive that Thea couldn't quite grasp

Thea opted not to ask more questions and simply nodded before following SuHo. They sat comfortably in the armchairs in the room, everything looking just as Thea had imagined. The armchairs, decorations, and even the drawings and writings on the wall behind the sofa where Thea sat were all still the same.

"Whoever sits here will grow hairs on their butt!"

Thea grinned as she recognized her own handwriting from her youth, crafted during her frequent visits here. This particular spot on the couch held a special place in her heart. Nostalgia enveloped her once more as she recalled how much she had missed this place. She questioned why she had not returned sooner, suspecting it was due to a fear of stirring up memories she had intentionally buried from her childhood. The memories that once brought her joy now threatened to linger and disturb her peace.

SuHo began by stating, "I have numerous inquiries for you," prompting Thea to shift her attention from her thoughts to his words

"Yeah, me too" Thea confirmed, acknowledging with a nod. She repositioned herself and placed her hands on her lap, preparing for an important conversation ahead

"Can I start?" Suho asked eagerly, having numerous questions for Thea. Without a choice, Thea gave a nod of approval. "What happened to your family? What prompted your move from your previous home?" Suho asked with a clear sense of curiosity, leaning in the armchair in a way that almost made him look regal

Thea was rendered speechless, as she had anticipated his question, yet she found herself unprepared for it. She desired to disclose everything to him, to rid herself of negative thoughts, and to receive comfort in the form of a warm embrace. However, she was overcome with emotions, causing a lump to form in her throat and her vision to blur. She pondered why discussing her family was such a challenging task.

"Can you ask something else?" Thea's voice quivered, a fact that SuHo duly noted. This led him to feel a deep responsibility to protect her and safeguard her from any vulnerabilities. He was driven by a strong urge to shield her from the harsh realities of the world, drawing from his own experiences of its unforgiving nature.

Suho was already informed about the sequence of events that had taken place, but he wanted to hear it directly from her to confirm its reality and not mistake it for a dreadful nightmare. He aimed to shield her from the agony of going through what he had suffered - the tragic loss of a loved one. However, it seemed that destiny had different plans for Thea. Suho was informed about the brutal murder of Thea's family, a sorrowful incident that had attracted widespread media attention. Upon learning this, he struggled to maintain his composure as he tried to uncover the culprit responsible for such atrocious deeds.

Concerned for Thea's safety as her name had not been disclosed in the news reports, being only referred to as a member of the mysteriously slain Park family. Subsequently, his father launched an investigation into the matter, leading to the eventual discovery of Thea's whereabouts. It was revealed that she was taking shelter in a restaurant, being cared for by three individuals who seemed to be watching over her.

However, the individuals in question remained unidentified to him. He was only aware that the trio had mysteriously fallen into comas, each on separate occasions but under similar circumstances, after surviving near-fatal accidents. All of these occurrences puzzled SuHo, particularly because he knew that Thea had also spent time in a coma. This made him consider the possibility that the four might constitute some sort of group for survivors of comas.

"Sure" SuHo stated, clearing his throat with unease. "Should we talk about us?" he suggested. Thea gently wiped away her tears and assented, choosing to avoid discussing her family. "Thea, to be honest, I still harbor emotions for you," he confessed, baring his true feelings. This admission rendered Thea speechless and breathless, leaving her unsure of how to react given her prior knowledge of his affections. Despite being aware of his sentiments, she struggled to return them, feeling bewildered.

"SuHo, I don't know what to say... I..." Thea tried to express her emotions but found herself facing a barrier, as though an unseen presence was holding her back from making a decision she might regret

SuHo gently touched Thea's cheek and asked, "Can you give me a chance to fix what I broke?" Thea was left speechless, feeling confused and uneasy in that moment

They gazed into each other's eyes, silently communicating a myriad of emotions before their moths could. Without hesitation, SuHo moved closer to Thea, whose confusion prevented her from pulling away. As SuHo's breath mingled with hers, Thea shut her eyes, aware of the impending kiss just a breath away. Unsure of her desires, she questioned the inevitability of their lips meeting.

She suppressed her breath as their lips brushed against each other's, experiencing a sense of discomfort in her stomach. She sensed something was amiss and hesitated to proceed. It was not her desire for her first kiss to be with someone she no longer loved. Thea abruptly opened her eyes and turned her head, causing Suho's lips to land on her cheek rather than her lips.

I'm sorry, my heart belongs to someone else already. Why did it take me this long to figure that out?

I won't hold onto you anymore

Good bye

SuHo inquired, "Thea, are you open to reconsidering our relationship?" Despite feeling a hint of sadness from Thea's sudden refusal, Suho remained hopeful for a potential reconciliation

I can't let you go just yet.

"SuHo... I'm in love with someone else" And as those words came out of Thea's mouth something in SuHo's chest broke so violently that we wondered if it was possible for no one to have heard it "I don't know how it happened, but from the moment I saw him my heart began to beat like crazy. I really tried to push those feelings aside because you were on my mind, but it all happened so suddenly and I liked it" she confessed with heartfelt sincerity. The emotional confession, filled with affection, deeply unsettled SuHo

"Who is he?" SuHo asked with caution, his voice shaky and tears forming in his eyes. His hands briefly trembled with a touch of fear, though he was trying to control his emotions as he feared he might have already lost her

"His name is So Mun" Thea responded warmly, her expression conveying her fondness for the man she held dear

"So Mun?"SuHo inquired with a surprised expression on his face, as if that name was familiar with him but found it hard to believe

"You know him?" Thea inquired with curiosity, arching her eyebrows and leaning towards him expectantly for a response

"No, but I think I've heard that name before" Suho falsely stated. Thea detected his lie but refrained from questioning him further "What do you see in him?"

Thea let out a heavy sigh before candidly expressing her emotions.

"Everything, everything no one else sees in him. I love each of his facets, he's such a child yet such a man, so serious, so tender. He's beautiful, and I'm not talking specifically about physical beauty, he's beautiful for being the way he is, for being him" Thea expressed with a gleeful smile, clearly displaying her deep affection, anyone could tell how in love she was "When his eyes locked on mine I had no choice but to break my promise not to fall in love again"

And it turns out that when she talks about him she can't help but smile.

SuHo's heart shattered as he gazed towards the ground, experiencing immense pain upon hearing her discuss another person as if he had brought down the entire galaxy for her.

Suho anticipated this moment would arrive, given that he was absent for four years. It was reasonable for Thea to seek companionship elsewhere as she couldn't wait indefinitely for him, although SuHo had hoped she would.

"I understand, but do you remember what I told you if you said you didn't like me anymore?" SuHo gently reminded Thea, who appeared puzzled by his words "I won't give up, even if I have to get down on my knees and cry so you can give me another chance, I will" he expressed sincerely

"Suho..."

"I will fight for your heart, so I can be the reason of your smiles" Suho interjected with tears in his eyes, speaking with determination "I refuse to let you slip away so easily. I returned for you and I am not willing to depart without you. Please do not shut me out of your life. I'll confess three times if you reject me those three times then I'll give up, I like you, this is my first confession"

Thea found herself speechless, only able to silently observe the events unfolding before her. She continually questioned the circumstances that led to her current situation, wondering what she had done to deserve it all.

I should be happy today
But why do I feel sorry?
Why do I feel like I have committed a crime?
I should be okay right? I can be in love right?

Author's note;

What do y'all think about SuHo so far? For me he's one of the purest people I have ever seen, it will really break my soul to give him a sad ending 😭

Anyway, Thea can finally admit that she's in love with Mun and from here on things will change a bit. See y'all in the next chapter!💗
