<<Jonathan POV>>
I woke up and saw Kota just coming in with a tray of food.

"Oh good, you're awake." She said as she sat the tray on the nightstand.

"What happened?" I rubbed my head, it hurt like a headache.

"You were shot in the leg. By one of this Adam Guy's accomplice." She crossed her arms and looked down, "you could've lost a leg..there was so much blood." She said, a bit like she was crying.

"Well, where is the wound?" I ask her. She comes over and moves the covers showing my pajamas. She lifts up one pajama leg and shows my wrapped up ankle.

"Thanks for-" she cut me off.

"No, Not me. Him." She nudged her head to Evan who came in, playing with his hands. They were covered in dry blood. Kota left and closed the door behind her, Evan sat on the bed.

"You did this?" I ask, sitting up a little.

"Yeah. I didn't want you to die, not after what I heard." Uh oh. Did he find out my real name? Well it wasn't really addressed to me so, how could he?

"What did you hear?"

"Jonathan. I heard the name Jonathan of all the things he said, and I was gonna ask where he was but you punched Adam. That could've been my chance to..to.." He trailed off and sighed.

"To what?"

"To apologize. For all I've done to him." He looked down and played with his hands. I grabbed one of his hands and stared in his brown eyes. I already forgave him a year ago but it's nice he cared.

"You really miss this guy don't you?" I smile and he shakes his head. My smile turned into a frown until he smiled,

"I don't miss him. I-I...can you keep a secret?" I nodded and he took a deep breath, "I-I don't miss him...I L-Love him.." That hit me hard.

"You what?"

"I know it sounds weird, only seeing him half a month and him leaving forever cause of me, but since he left, I noticed my mood changed. I would yell at everyone cause he wasn't there to calm me. I broke up with my girlfriend and went looking for him." He played with his hands again. "I needed him." I looked down and smiled, my heart fluttered.

"Don't worry," he looked up at me with a surprised look, "I don't judge. I know exactly how you feel."

"How?" I just wanted to tell him that I was Jonathan but he wouldn't believe me now, it's best to wait.

"I was best friends with a boy, we were stupid teens and just plain having fun. 1 day, I was in the hospital for falling off a wall and cutting up my arm on some rocks, he came with a girl it broke my heart. I admit, I was in love with him. I wanted to admit it but, I did something so horrible..no, I was forced to do it by Adam..I ran away with Jinx and for years we have been convinced it was our dad who forced us to do this." I look at my hands. I just lied to one of my men, I'm guilty. "I never saw him again."

"But he lived in the same town right? He could still be here!" He said, "Like Jonathan!"

"I already know he's here. I saw him." I whispered and he smiles.

"Where? We could see him."

"He's dead, Evan." I lied and he frowns. I pretend to be hurt inside so he could comfort me, it worked and it let wonderful.

"I'm sorry." He rubbed my back as he held me.

"Everyone around me dies." I said and he shakes his head, laughing.

"I'm still here." He smiled and I chuckled. Kota walked in and put a hand on her hip, smiling.

"Sorry, am I interrupting something?" She smiles and I shake my head.

"No. What is it?" I asked and she points down stairs.

"Someone's here." I got up and limped downstairs. I saw a blonde girl sitting next to Tyler, hugging him.

"Who's this Tyler?" I ask and he snaps his head to me, rubbing the girls hair.

"Why would you care?" He snaps the Kota comes down.

"Watch that mouth." She snaps then the girl stands, turning around.

"Don't talk to him like that." She growled

"I make orders around here Blonde." Jinx growled and the girl came closer.

"Emo."

"Bitch."

"Slob."

"Whore." Jinx took out her machete and pointed it at her, "back up." Tyler pushed her away and grabbed the machete pointing it at her. I pushed Tyler to a wall and threw the machete at the wall and punched Tyler, as the Blonde kept scratching at my back. Evan ran down and pulled the girl off me and pulled me off Tyler.

"Don't ever lay a finger on Jinx again!" I scream and he puts his hands up as the girl ran to his side and hugged his waist. Kota comes by and points the weapon at them.

"Who is she." She demanded and he growled.

"My girlfriend." Her look softened and the machete hung lose a little. I growled at this.

"You brought your girlfriend to a secret place?" Evan said for me, "How did she even find you?!" He yelled.

"I called her. On the phone while none of them were watching us." He smirked. Kota growled and threw the machete on the wall next to Tyler's head. The other men came down and saw what was going on and was just as furious as me and Evan. Kota just looked broken.

"I should kill you both and burry you in the back yard!" I yelled and she flinched.

"This is a mad house! I'm calling the police!" She brings out her phone but Kota kicks it out of her hand and smashes it.

"Hey! That's a $600 dollar IPhone!" She whined.

"You hear that? That's me not giving a fuck." Kota yelled and held out her hand. "Phone. Now Tyler. Or I'll find it and smash it." He rolls his eyes and gives her his phone, "anyone else?" She looks at the boys. David raises his hand and holds it up,

"Mines dead though." He said and she grabbed it. She went upstairs and I sighed. Evan put a hand on my shoulder and shook his head at Tyler, he goes near my ear and whispered,

"She's heart broken.."
