Y/n POV

Turning over the bed, I felt a presence near me... specifically near my head and a smell of peach and mango coming from somewhere very near to me.... suddenly I turned over my back and a wiggling tail came up on my face...huh??!...what's that??...I quickly sat up on bed rubbing my eyes with my hands and whoa!!!...it was Yeontan!!....he was meandering around me on the bed, swaying his tail happily and suddenly jumped on me and I held him in my arms and gave him long gentle strokes along his chest and base of his tail and caressed the fur over his head, peppering him with tender kisses all over him...he seemed to like the touch and and started rolling over in my lap, continuously wiggling its tail and licking my hand and face in cuddly manner....I squealed over him and giggled seeing his Adorable antics, very much the same as his owner....
I vaguely blushed at his thought but soon a small box wrapped in gift wrapper caught my attention...it was placed just near the headboard....I got thrilled on seeing a gift and quickly grabbed it and unwrapped it still holding Yeontan in my arms...
My eyes got widened with utter happiness on seeing that it was my phone...it had got a new phone cover and aside from that it looked very much better than before....my previous phone cover had got worn out and I was so out of time that I didn't have the time to change it...the box had a side note attached to it and I opened it to read...

Good Morning Y/n , I hope you had a nice good night sleep..btw this is your phone and it is now completely in working condition, I know this very well that this phone means a lot to you and this is also not a hidden fact from me that you are missing your mom terribly....so go ahead and talk with her...she must be worried about you...and I hope Yeontan didn't messed up your sleep....He is very happy to know that you're here...see you...I will be downstairs...

Not to mention but my heart had already started beating on a million miles by the time I ended reading his short note for me...he didn't had written any kind of heartfelt message in it but yet it made my heart flutter to know that he understood me so well that he knew that I was feeling low cuz I hadn't talked with my mother...I was so happy that I had my phone restored back successfully...it is so precious for me....without thinking much I got up from my bed and ran downstairs still holding Yeontan and the phone with the note in my hands.... searching for him everywhere in the house.

"Taehyung!!.... Taehyung!!... TaeTae!!...where are yo-...??" I called out his name but soon my calling got cut off by him and I turned around to see him wearing a very messed apron and standing near the kitchen entry with a cooking spatula in his hand...was he cooking??...I literally got dreaded at the thought...but then it was his startled expression that I noticed the most....as if he was astounded by Something...before I could have said something...he spoke.

"W-what did y-you c-called m-me??!" He said stammering with reddened cheeks. I wonder why was he blushing now??...
"Umm... Taehyung..." I said simply.
"No....after that....you called m-me with some other name t-too..." He said still stuttering a little.
I was still confused and puzzled of what he was trying to say....but then I tried to remember and then it hit me that I had called him with a nickname....which I had never thought of before.
"Umm...I... it's j-just...I...well...I was calling for you....a-and then it...just got s-slipped out of my mouth...i-i a-am sorr-..."
I was again being cut off in between of my stammered apology...but soon my cheeks got heat up on hearing his answer...that he liked it...
"No... it's ok... I-i liked it....it's just I have been called by someone after a long time by a nickname you know...." He said getting shy himself...I Chuckled at his cuteness but decided not to tease him nonetheless.
"Ooh...I understand." I said casually tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"Well, did you liked your gift??..."
He asked lastly.
"Yeah...that is for what I have came running down to you...." I said delighted and setting down Yeontan on the floor. I walked up to him and before he could have said something...I enveloped him in my embrace...hugging him deeply putting my head on his shoulder near his ear and said softly...
"Thank you so much TaeTae....I really loved your gift....I truly appreciate your effort...." And with that I pulled away from him not giving him to time to respond back.....his eyes were staring at me...but not with astonishment in them but with a feeling of tenderness in them.
His eyes were glimmering with millions of stars in them and I felt as if  his eyes were bearing galaxies in them...

Taehyung POV

She was looking at me with affectionate eyes which were twinkling like stars...totally filled with gleaming adoration and care...we stood there in the middle of the hall, staring at each other intensely...but soon it got interrupted with the sounds of coughing coming from somewhere behind us...we both turned to look around and found Miss Min smiling sweetly at both of us...a different kind of a smile which gave me a similar vibe that of my mother....

"Ahem...I am sorry to disturb you guys but the breakfast is ready...." She said slightly with red cheeks....I wonder what she was thinking that we were doing...
"Oh... Miss Min...Annyeonghaseyo!!....joh-eun achim-ieyo (Good morning)...I didn't knew that you were home...." Y/n said cheerfully....
" Annyeonghaseyo!!....joh-eun achim-ieyo...Y/n....nice to see you again...how are you??" Miss Min asked.
" I am totally fine....how are you doing?...I heard from Taehyung that you were on leave due to some family issues....is everything alright??"

"Yeah...it's just that my son had got sick a little...but now he is doing completely fine...he has quite recovered now..." Miss Min replied.
"Oh..that's great to hear...btw...excuse me but I haven't yet brushed my teeth and freshened up..so may I go??...I will be right back..." She said a little embarassed.
" Yeah....you can go y/n" I said jumping in between their conversation feeling a little left out already...she turned towards me giving me a bright and cheerful smile and went to her bedroom.

Time skip

Y/n POV

Both of us are eating our breakfast and Miss Min is serving us.... she's literally a very good cook....I guess I will have to join her while cooking to know about her cooking secrets...hehe!!...but I wondered why Taehyung was wearing that messy apron at that time when I saw him him in the morning....so I decided to break the silence which was engulfing us both as we were enjoying our breakfast...
" Umm... Taehyung were you cooking this morning??" I asked casually.
"No....just I was trying to lend a helping hand to Miss Min in cooking the breakfast but I ended messing up everything..." He sighed dramatically.
"Ooh... thats why the food tastes so good..." I said chuckling.
"Wait...what??" He said with his mouth opening like a rhinoceros.
"Ahem..ahem... nothing...I was just kidding Taehyung..." I said to conceal.
He eyed me suspiciously and I quickly changed the topic.
"Um..btw where was Yeontan all this time when I came to your house and suddenly showed up today in the morning....??" I asked.
"Well... Yeontan was with Miss Min...she had taken the leave already when I was in hospital with you...and I couldn't have kept Yeontan alone or with me at the time so I had told Miss Min to take him with herself." He said elaborately.
"Oo..."
"Can I ask you one thing??" He asked suddenly. Involuntarily, my heart sped up not knowing what he was going to ask...
"Umm...yeah sure" I gave him a nod of agreement but from inside my heart was ripping my ribcage by beating like a maniac.
" Umm...well how do you speak Korean so fluently....even though you are from USA??" He asked and all my anticipations came falling down and crashing on the floor of my heart... shattering all my hopes...but well what I was actually hoping for from him to ask me...ugh!!...this is so stupid...why am I getting these weird thoughts??...I think my heart is out of his mind...yah...!!
"Ooh...so the thing is...that I am actually an American but my Father was a Korean and my mother is an American-Indian....so that's the reason why I can speak Korean so well..I had learnt it from my dad...however mumma is very poor at it...hehe!!" I answered side lining all my weirdo thoughts.
He was totally dump founded on knowing the fact and his eyes were now the size of saucer pans...I giggled at his endearing reaction and pinched his nose slightly near his mole.
"Owu..." He scrunched his nose like a little baby and again my heart awed at him.
"You know what...I am totally shell-shocked right now...I really used to think that you have a very diverse look and now I know why is to so...well if you don't mind may I ask how your parents ended up together?" He asked with sweet smile.
" Well...there's a long story for that...but then also I will try to tell you long story short that my father had fell in love with my mother at the very first sight...when they both used to go to the same college of engineering in America, that is University Of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
He had first saw her in the Arts class and since then he started following her, literally becoming a stalker. But soon my mother noticed him in one of the freshmen's party organized by her classmates and they both became friends. They had so many common friends and after about 1 year of friendship, my father finally decided to confess about his feelings to my mother and my mother too confessed to him after he did and together they both decided to take their relationship to the next level. My mom and dad dated for around 4 years after they passed out from college and lastly decided to marry each other after they got well settled in their careers and promoted their relationship to that of a happily married couple. And then, after 3 years of their marriage my mumma conceived and was expecting her first child that is ME!!...who is standing right infront of you!!" I said happily giving a happy ending to the evergreen love story of my mom and dad.
"Aww..." He cooed at me after seeing my aegyo and I giggled. By the time I  ended narrating the story we have came walking around his swimming pool...I wondered when I stood up from the dining table and washed my hands and when walked all through his villa like house and was now standing infront of his pool....I guess I was so engrossed in my parents love story....hehe!!

" It was really a sublime love story....I really loved it...btw is that mean that you are following your family occupation that is engineering??" He asked.
"Exactly...you got it right...you can say that wise also because my grandfather was also an engineer...so yeah..." I said making him nod in approval.

Time Skip

" So, Did you liked my house!!?" He asked after giving a complete tour of his 'villa' to me, making himself sit on the couch in his bedroom. I sat along with him too...afterall I was also following and walking with him all the way he introduced me to his house....
"Yeah...I really liked it...its awesome...your house is well architectured and modernly designed with embellishing interiors...I am impressed." I said elaborately as if I was some kind of a professional architect...he looked at me with an amazed look...I just shrugged it off and stood from the couch facing him and standing with arms placed at my lower waist.
"Okk...so now...are we ready to go on a tour of Seoul...Mr. My faithful Guide aka Kim Taehyung....are we??" I said remarkably.
He seemed to control his erupting laugh and I pursed my lips at him...
"Ok...as you say my highness..." He said bowing down in respect infront of me....I puffed my chest at this as if I was some sort of King of an 'Unknown Kingdom' and at this his dam of erupting laugh broke out and he fell down on the bed laughing his heart out clutching his stomach already....I went up to him to tickle him some more and he started rolling on the bed like a maniac....I was actually enjoying tinkling him and his giggles seemed like they were not going to end anytime soon and my hands started to tickle him more pitilessly....

" Ahh!!...y/n..hahaha...y/n... PLZZ...stob it.... haha...oh!!...gfhksjjgjgxnnkcxv.!!!... hahaha.... hahahaha.... please!!!!??"

He was screaming and laughing at the top of his lungs and my own laughs were not stopping on seeing him in this state and that also because of me....I was feeling oddly satisfied at his situation...but suddenly I lost my balance on my foot and fell face forward on him...our faces just inches away and our heavy breathing hitting each other's face...my hand was placed securely on his chest to support my body weight and  he was holding onto it....looking deeply through my orbs...I was able to hear both of ours heartbeat....we both gulped at the same time and my eyes lingered towards his lips...but I quickly diverted my sight to again look in his eyes, he was about to cup my left cheek when we suddenly heard knock on his door....and in a split of seconds we both came back into the reality and pulled away. I stood up from the bed and slightly brushed my dress in order to fix it, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear which I often do when I am shy...
Taehyung too stood up quickly from the bed and went to open the door.... Miss Min was there, smiling cheerfully and holding onto Yeontan who quickly jumped in the arms of his owner at seeing him...Miss Min hadn't noticed me yet and I was trying to hide myself but suddenly she called my name and I looked towards her giving her a shy smile....
"Oh...Y/n You're here too....I am sorry if I disturbed you both...I will take my leave now" she said quite blushing and before I could have said something ,she bowed down and left.
Taehyung and I looked at each other with same expression that was filled with confusion and timidness but soon we both realised what did she meant actually and it didn't failed to blow a red tint to both of our cheeks and I looked away from him to hide my blush.
"Umm... Taehyung so I will get ready....and also I haven't talked with my mother yet so I think I should go now...okay...you also get ready and then we will leave together..." I said.
"Yeah sure go ahead...!" He said smiling but still blushing.

Time Skip

"I swear, my phone was not working efficiently so I had given it to a local customer care to repair it....but it's all good now...and I am fine too" I said assuring her.
" Ok...but why are you so reluctant to not have a face time huh?!!...I need to see my baby!!...I am getting a feeling that you are not fine...I feel you are hiding something from me...don't hide Something from me you young lady...I warn you...." She said screaming through the phone. I was actually not wanting to have a video call cuz this was not my home and she will definitely recognise it and I can't give her any explanation now cuz I haven't told her about Taehyung yet and nor I am ready for it...I can't face her bombarding of questions... literally I can't.
" My front camera is not working mumma otherwise I would definitely have face timed you...please try to understand... pleasee!!" I said begging her.
"Ok!!...so...when are you joining your work there??" She asked lastly and I got my lost breath back.
" Um...from coming Monday..." I said.
"Ooh...have you made any friend there??" She again asked.
"Yeah I have made a friend...he-...I mean she is very subtle and lovely. You will surely like her...I bet." I said changing the gender of my 'friend' so as to escape her bombarding...cuz I know she will not let me go until she will forcefully match make me with Taehyung...I internally laughed at the thought.
"Oo...that's nice...you look quite happy and cheerful...I am happy for you...may God keep you this happy always..." She said with motherly love.
"Yeah I hope so too mumma....I love you" I said cheering her up too...
" I love you too my baby and promise me you will buy a new phone with your first salary....is that clear??" She said with serious tone and I was confused whether she was advising me or ordering me...
"Ok...I promise...btw I need to go now mumma...I have to go to buy some groceries...ok!!" I said in a hurry.
"Ok...go...take care...muahhh!!" She said giving me a flying kiss and I pretended to catch it through the phone and keep it in my jacket's pocket which was near my heart and I  cut the call.

I quickly went to the bathroom and wore the outfit which I had chosen before only to wear.
I applied some light make up on my face and used my iconic red lipstick to highlight my lips.

I went downstairs only to see a casually dressed Taehyung waiting for me with Yeontan in his hands.
Not to mention but he was looking extremely dashing and cool in his outfit...his eyes shined upon seeing me and I returned him a shy smile...I don't know why but all of a sudden I had started feeling shy around him... especially when he used to see me like that...it always speeds up my heartbeat...
As I neared him, his breathtaking charisma started to make me feel fascinated and I took in a sharp breath to relax myself.
"You are looking so....lovely and beautiful." He said the last two words almost in a whisper but I heard it and in turn I felt my whole face burn up with fluster.
"Umm.. thank you...but you look handsome too..." I said complimenting him back to which he just rubbed his nape being all shy. I giggled at him and then we made our way to his car.
