Jamie's pov

It's been four weeks since Bart left and I'm starting to realize how much I need him. The first week I was drinking more then usual, until I realized that's why he left me.

Ring ring ring

I looked at my phone to see an alarm ringing. I pushed snooze and got dressed.

Once I realized my drinking was the problem I started going to group therapy for alcoholics. I've been three weeks clean and don't plan on trying to get bart back, until I can prove to myself that I've changed.

I walked out of my house towards the civic center where the group meets three times a week to talk and share. On the way I felt like someone was following me, but ignored it. I've been feeling that for the last two weeks.

Once I got their i entered the room and noticed that I was the 2nd one their. The other one the leader of the group. "Hello Jamie. I see that you the first one here, as usual. You really are dedicated to this aren't you," she asked. I shook my head yes and sat down waiting for the rest of the people to show up.

Dick's pov

Wally called me about three weeks ago to see I f I can find out what Bart has been up to for the past three years. I was busy at the time, but promised to do it the first chance I got.

Once we we're able to get the joker back in a week later I looked at Jamie's history and noticed a change in the past week. It turned out that he was buying a lot of alcohol per day, and this week it just stopped.

Confused I went to find out why before I told Wally the news. I followed him out and it turned out he was going to group sessions. I was listing in and it turned out that this was his third session.

"Jamie this is your third session with us. Do you mind introducing yourself to us and explaining why your here," the leading person asked.

"I'm here because I'm a drunk. It had a big impact on my life recently and I'm seeing that now that my boyfriend walked out and I haven't seen him since. I'm here to get my self back toghter and prove that I'm good enough for him. If not then I'm not worth anything in this pathetic life of mine," he told her. He looked shocked and responded, "yes I am! Without Bart I am nothing," he told her with tears in his eyes.

Once I made sure that I got that recorded I called up Wally and asked him to meat up with me in my apartment.

Third person pov

Wally met up with Dick and he explained everything to him. At first Wally was upset, then he heard that Jamie was getting help and trying to fix him self. That he could handle. He looked at Dick and saw that their was a look in his eye. "What are you going to do," Wally asked him.

"I'm going to help Jamie. It's different if he didn't realize he has a problem. For him to realize that he has a problem, means that he wants Bart back. You are to help Bart and make sure nothing happens," Dick told him as he went to go towards Jamie's house.

With Bart

Bart was a crying mess on Wally's couch. Wally was off meeting Dick for who knows how many times again, and Artemis was out doing her job. He knew that she was suppose to be back any minute now, but he just couldn't stop crying. He just missed Jamie so much. Some times he would think about going back, then he would think otherwise.

Not a moment to soon he heard the door opening and in walked Artemis with a bag of groceries. He tried to hurry up and clean up his messy face, but when she walked in to check up on him she could see his red trimmed eyes.

"Oh Bart," she went over and gave him a hug, "I know how bad. It is to get out of a bad relationship," she told him. He was about to say that it wasn't, but she gave him a look to accept it. "I just miss him is all. Not this one, the old one. Before he started to drink," he told her. At that moment a voice respond to what Bart had just said.

"That's good, because he wants to be the old him to," Wally said. "How do you know," Bart asked him.

Wally smiled, pulled up a laptop, and plugged in a flashdrive while explaining. "I called up Dick about three weeks ago to look at what Jamie's been up to. He sent me this."

"He's getting better for me. I can't believe it. He really does want me back," Bart started crying again.

He wanted to run over to where Jamie was and hug him and kiss him. Sadly Wally told him to not and wait until he comes to him. He said that Jamie wanted to prove to himself that he was good enough and that Dick was watching him, so if he was actually better, but didn't believe it himself Dick would be their to convince him that he was.

That made Bart happy for sure. He stayed with Wally and Artemis for up to 3 months before some thing changed.
