Hello, everyone. This is the last Halloween/fall one-shot I have for all of you. It is based off of It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. I hope that you enjoy it. Let me tell you who each member is. Jimin is Charlie Brown. Namjoon is Linus. Taehyung is Sally. Jungkook is Snoopy (yes, he is a dog). Yoongi is Sally. Hoseok is Patty (not Peppermint Patty). And Jin is Violet. Let's get into the one-shot.

Yoongi and Namjoon walk out of their house and shut the door behind them. They make their way to a pumpkin patch that just so happens to be near their house. When they get there, Namjoon gets on his hands and knees. He pushes through the leaves and vines. He finds a pumpkin and picks it up. It's a rather small pumpkin, but it's easy for him to carry. He shows it to Yoongi, who just shakes his head. Namjoon places the pumpkin back on the floor and picks up another one. "Really? That's the best you can find?" Yoongi complains, "C'mon, Joon. A bigger one."

Namjoon huffs under his breath, "Why don't you look for one yourself if you're going to be so picky about it?"

"Did you say something?" Yoongi asks giving him a look.

Namjoon's eyes widen, "Um...no...hyung. Just trying to find the perfect pumpkin."

"Thought so," Yoongi states, "Well, keep looking. We can't stay here all day." Namjoon nods his head and bends down to look. He pushes away small pumpkins and vines. He gapes as his gaze lands on a very large pumpkin. He places his arms around it and grunts as he lifts it. He gives Yoongi a questioning look. His legs shake as he tries to keep a good hold on the pumpkin. Yoongi nods his head, "Looks good. C'mon, bring it back to the house."

"W-wait! Can't you help me...it's heavy," Namjoon calls out as Yoongi starts to walk away.

Yoongi smirks, "Did you say something?" Namjoon groans as he tries to move the pumpkin. Yoongi walks ahead of him, not even looking back. Namjoon frowns as his arms start to feel numb. He places the pumpkin on the ground and thinks for a minute. He turns the pumpkin on its side and starts to roll it along the sidewalk. The pumpkin starts to roll faster and faster. Namjoon's eyes widen as it starts to go to fast. He is unable to keep up with it and it continues to roll all the way to the house. Yoongi is standing in front of the door, unlocking it. When the pumpkin comes to a stop at the step, he gives it a glance before opening the door and entering the house. Namjoon rushes down the sidewalk and stops in front of the pumpkin. He pants and wipes some sweat from his forehead. Yoongi stands in the doorway and shakes his head, "What are you doing? Don't just stand there, bring the pumpkin inside." Namjoon groans again before slowly lifts the pumpkin up. Yoongi goes back into the house. Namjoon slowly walks towards the doorway and eventually makes his way inside. He carefully walks to the living room, where Yoongi is placing newspapers on the floor. Namjoon stumbles over to the papers and plops the pumpkin on top of it. Yoongi nods his head, "Good job."

"Thanks..." Namjoon mutters laying down on the floor. Yoongi leaves the room and returns with something in his hand. Namjoon sits up and his eyes widen when he sees what Yoongi is holding. Yoongi has a large knife in his hand. "Hyung? What are you doing with that-," Namjoon asks before being cut off by Yoongi stabbing the knife into the pumpkin. Namjoon watches with wide eyes as his brother cuts off the stem of the pumpkin. He places the knife to the side and takes off the top of the pumpkin. He reaches inside and pulls out its guts. "Do you want some help?" Namjoon asks.

Yoongi gives him a look, "No, you stay far away from the pumpkin. I don't want you to mess up our jack o lantern."

"I won't-," Namjoon starts.

Yoongi cuts him off, "Go." Namjoon pouts before walking to his room.

Jimin is holding a rake and pushing leaves into a pile. Jungkook notices a leaf flying through the air. He knows it will eventually land on the ground. He starts to blow it in the direction of the leaf pile. Once it finally reaches the pile, Jimin gives Jungkook a thankful look. "Thanks, Kook," Jimin says pushing the remaining leaves into the pile. Jungkook gives him a smile and moves to stand beside him. "Charge!!!!" Namjoon cries as he comes running. He jumps into the pile of leaves, which flies everywhere. Namjoon laughs as he pushes leaves out of his face. Jimin and Jungkook both glare at Namjoon. "Namjoon! We spent so much time raking those leaves. You just messed it all up!" Jimin exclaimed. Jungkook huffs and crosses his arms.

Namjoon gives him a sheepish look, "I'm sorry. I'll rake them back up again." Jimin nods his head and hands him the rake. Namjoon starts to rake and Jungkook walks back to his house. "Jimin!" Yoongi calls as he walks over with a football in his hand. Jimin turns to look at Yoongi, his eyes widen as he notices the football. "How about we practice a few place kicks? I'll hold the ball and you come running and kick it," Yoongi explains.

Jimin rolls his eyes, "Oh, brother. I don't know what bothers me more, your dishonesty or your opinion of me. You must think I'm stupid."

Yoongi gets on his knees and places the football on the ground, "C'mon, Jimin. I'll hold it steady."

"No," Jimin says.

"Please..." Yoongi pleads.

Jimin crosses his arms, "No. You just want me to see me come running up to kick the ball, so you can pull it away and see me fall flat on my back." Yoongi shakes his head and reaches into his pocket. He takes a piece of paper out and hands it to Jimin. "This time it's different. I have a signed document testifying that I will not pull the ball away," Yoongi says. Jimin takes the paper and scans it. He starts to walk back as he reads. "A signed document. If you have a signed document in your possession, you can't go wrong," Jimin mutters as he stops at a certain distance, "This year I'm going to kick that football." He starts running towards the ball. As he gets close and prepares to kick, Yoongi pulls away the ball. Jimin yells out as he flies and lands on his back. He groans in pain and looks at Yoongi. Yoongi smirks and shrugs, "The thing about that document is that it was never notarized."

Namjoon sits at the table writing something on a piece of paper. Dear Great Pumpkin, I'm looking forward to your arrival on Halloween night. I hope that you bring me lots of gifts.

Jimin walks up to him, "What are you doing?"

"I'm writing a letter to the Great Pumpkin! On Halloween night, the Great Pumpkin rises from his pumpkin patch and flies through the air with his bag of toys for all the kids," Namjoon explains.

Jimin shakes his head, "That's crazy. You shouldn't believe those make-believe stories."

"Hypocrite. You stop believing in the guy with a white beard that says ho ho ho," Namjoon fires back. Jimin gives him a blank stare for a minute before walking away. You must often get ignored because of guys like Santa Claus. It honestly isn't very fair. Santa always gets more publicity than you. Jungkook walks over and reads what Namjoon has written. He covers his mouth, but can't help himself. He starts cracking up. He can't contain his laughter as he reads the ridiculous letter. Namjoon glares at him, but Jungkook ignores him as he stumbles away from the table. He laughs as he approaches Yoongi. He pushes Jungkook off of him and stands. Heleans against him and Yoongi frowns. He makes his way to where Namjoon is writing. He glances at what Namjoon is writing and reacts instantly. He grabs Namjoon's collar and shakes him, "Not again! Writing a letter to a stupid pumpkin! You're going to make me the laughing stock of the neighborhood. All they talk about is my younger brother, who always sits outside in the pumpkin patch waiting for some Great Pumpkin to arrive. You better cut it out before I pound you!" Yoongi huffs and leaves the room. Namjoon sighs and picks back up his pencil. Everyone says that you are a fake, but I believe in you. P.S. If you are actually fake, don't tell me. I don't want to know. Taehyung walks over to where Namjoon sits. He looks at him with interest, "What are you doing, Namjoon hyung?"

Namjoon shakes his head, "I don't think I should tell you. You would probably laugh."

"I would never laugh at you," Taehyung says seriously.

Namjoon nods, "I'm writing a letter to the Great Pumpkin."

Taehyung swoons, "You say the cutest things..."

"On Halloween night, the Great Pumpkin rises from the pumpkin patch and flies through the sky to give gifts to all the good little kids everywhere. Would you like to sit in the pumpkin patch with me on Halloween night and wait for the great pumpkin?" Namjoon says.

Taehyung nods, "Oh, I would love too, Namjoon hyung." Jimin comes back with a shocked look on his face. "What's happening here!? Stop polluting my brother's head with your nonsense," Jimin states grabbing Taehyung's wrist and pulling him away. Namjoon rolls his eyes as they leave. He opens up an envelope and slide the letter inside. He seals it and makes his way outside. Yoongi stares at his brother as he walks out of the house. He gets up off of the couch and follows behind him. "How do you expect to send that?" He follows Namjoon as they walk to the mailbox, "There's no way you can reach the mailbox and I'm not going to help you." Namjoon ignored Yoongi and stands on his tiptoes. He opened the mailbox and slipped the letter in, "I think you forgot that I'm taller than you, hyung." Yoongi huffs and turns to walk back to the house. Namjoon follows him. When they get back, Namjoon grabs a sign that says, Welcome Great Pumpkin. He walks back out of the house and to the pumpkin patch.

Yoongi, Hoseok, Jin, Taehyung, and Jimin all get into their Halloween costumes. Yoongi smiles as he places a pointy hat on top of his head, "You should always choose a costume that is the exact opposite of your personality." Hoseok and Jin nod their heads at his words. Taehyung looks at Yoongi, "Is Namjoon taking me to the party?"

Yoongi frowns, "My stupid blockhead of a brother is out in the pumpkin patch making his yearly fool of himself."

"He's rather strange," Jin says.

Taehyung shrugs, "But, what if there actually is a great pumpkin?"

Jin shakes his head, "Every year, Namjoon sits in the pumpkin patch. He always misses trick or treating and my Halloween party."

"He'll never learn..." Jimin says shaking his head.

Taehyung looks at Jimin, "Can I come with you to go trick or treating?"

"Sure, Tae," Jimin states.

"Yay!" Taehyung exclaims as he slips a white sheet over his head. Jimin and Jin do the same. Hoseok slips a mask over his face and ties a cape around his neck. Jungkook walks over wearing a costume as well. Yoongi looks at the dog in shock, "What type of costume is that!?"

"He's a World War I flying ace," Jimin explains.

Yoongi rolls his eyes, "Okay...alright. C'mon guys, let's go trick or treating and then we can go to Jin hyung's Halloween party." They all exit the house, ready to start ringing doorbells and gathering candy.

Before they do, they stop by the pumpkin patch to visit Namjoon. Namjoon smiles as he sees them all approaching, "Hi. Have you all come to sing pumpkin carols?"

"You blockhead! You're going to miss all the fun, just like you did last year and the year before that," Yoongi exclaims.

Namjoon shakes his head, "Don't talk like that. The Great Pumpkin knows whether you have been good or bad. He'll come here because this is the most sincere pumpkin patch. He appreciates sincerity."

Yoongi groans, "Good grief..."

Taehyung takes the sheet off of his head, "Do you actually think he'll actually come?"

"I know he will," Namjoon states telling the story of the Great Pumpkin again.

Taehyung sighs, "That's a nice story."

"It's not a story..." Namjoon says.

Yoongi scoffs, "Last chance, Joon. Are you coming or are you staying? We can't wait all night."

"I'm going to wait for the Great Pumpkin," Namjoon replies.

Yoongi frowns, "Fine." The group all begin to walk away. Taehyung stays back and looks at where Namjoon stands. He hesitates for a minute before running back to the pumpkin patch. "I'm glad you came back, Tae," Namjoon says, "We'll just sit here in the pumpkin patch and then we will get to see the Great Pumpkin with our own eyes." Taehyung looks at Namjoon with interest as he talks. "Each year, the Great Pumpkin comes to the patch he thinks is the most sincere. He has to come to this one. He just has to!" Namjoon exclaims, "I don't know how any pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see."

The others go from house to house collecting candy. Yoongi smiles as candy is thrown into his pillowcase. His smile turns into a frown as he asks a question, "Can I please have an extra piece of candy for my stupid brother. He couldn't come cause he's sitting in a pumpkin patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin." The person at the door tosses another piece of candy into the bag. Yoongi sighs, "It's so embarrassing to have to ask for something extra for that blockhead Namjoon...."

As the group walks away the talk about what candy they got.

"I got a chocolate bar!" Hoseok says.

Yoongi grins, "I got a Twizzler."

"I got a rock," Jimin says looking in his bag.

The group all go to another house and compare their goodies. "I got some Crunch bars!" Jin exclaims.

Yoongi nods, "I got a popcorn ball."

Jimin frowns, "I got a rock..."

"Trick or treat!" They all call out as they hold out their bags. They gather in a circle on the sidewalk and peer into their bags. "I got a bag of cookies!" Hoseok says.

Jin smiles, "I got fudge bar."

Jimin walks over to them and takes out his treat, "I got a rock."

While everyone else goes trick or treating, Jungkook is in the backyard. He pretends that his house is an airplane. He climbs to the top of it and pulls a few levers to start his propellers. He prepares himself to take on the task of defeating the Red Baron. He takes off into the sky. He looks to his left and right, trying to scout out the Red Baron. He winces when he hears explosions on his sides. Someone is firing at him, but luckily didn't land a single shot. He smirks before spotting the Red Baron. He fires at him, making a few shots. He flies a bit faster, keeping his weapon pointed at the enemy. He fires again and he smiles as he notices one of his shots hit the side of the other plane. Jungkook celebrates his little victory. He becomes somewhat distracted and the Red Baron starts to shoot at him. This time the shots hit the intended target. Jungkook's ship starts to smoke and weave a bit. He struggles with controlling the aviation vehicle. He winces as more bullets rain down on his aircraft. He feels the entire airplane shake and tremor. He knows that any minute he will crash. He looks for a good spot to make a landing. He doesn't have much time to think as he loses more control. He starts to descend all the way back down. When he touches ground, he gets out of his airplane. He sighs as he looks at the dark smoke cloud that comes out of his house, I mean airplane. Jungkook sighs and begins to track along 'the countryside' in hopes of returning back to his base. He imagines that he is traveling through enemy territory and he has to sneak around. Eventually, he sneaks into Jin's house and raids their Halloween party.

"C'mon, guys. Let's play bobbing for apples," Jin shouts out. Everyone gathers around a wooden crate filled with water and apples. "Would you like to demonstrate, Yoongi?" Jin asks. Yoongi nods and he approaches the crate. He bends over a bit, "This is how you should do it."

Hoseok mutters, "Yeah, Yoongi should be good at this, he has the perfect mouth for this." Yoongi looks him dead in the eye and gives him a threatening gaze. Hoseok gives him a sheepish grin and laughs a little. Yoongi rolls his eyes before dunking his head into the water. A second later he pulls up and Jungkook is biting onto the other side of the same apple. Yoongi's eyes widen and he drops the apple from his mouth. He yells out, "Uhh! My lips touched dog lips!" He starts to frantically pace around the room. Everyone else stares in shock. Jungkook stares as Yoongi freaks out. "Bleh, uh, poison dog lips. Bleh, uh, bleh!" Yoongi exclaims, "Someone call the hospital! Someone get me boiled water!" Jungkook takes this opportunity to leave Jin's house. He makes his way to the pumpkin patch, pretending to be a flying ace once again.

Taehyung huffs, "If someone had told me that I would be spending Halloween night in the middle of a pumpkin patch, I would've said they were crazy.

"Just think, Tae. When the Great Pumpkin rises from the pumpkin patch, we'll be there to see him," Namjoon says with an eager look. Suddenly, a rustling noise could be heard. Namjoon instantly lights up, "What's that? It must be the Great Pumpkin. He's actually here!" A moving shadow can be seen making its way through the patch. Namjoon points at it, "There! The Great Pumpkin. There it is! He's rising out of the pumpkin patch!" The shadowy figure rises up. Namjoon grins and suddenly staggers back a little. He falls to the ground in shock. Taehyung stares at the shadow and gapes as he can make out who it is. He groans, "It's only Jungkook."

Namjoon moans from the floor, "What happened? Did I faint? What did he leave us? Did he leave us any gifts?" Taehyung turns to face him and gives him an angry look. He fumes, "I was robbed! I spent the whole night in a pumpkin patch when I could've been trick or treating! Halloween is over and I missed it!" Namjoon gives him a blank look and slowly stands back up. Taehyung glares at Namjoon, "You, blockhead, you kept me up all night waiting for the great pumpkin and all that came was a beagle! I didn't get to go trick or treating! This is terrible! This can't be happening! I'll sue! I was such a fool! I could've had candied apples and money and a bunch of other things. But, no, I had to listen to you. Halloween only comes once a year and I missed it, because I waited for the Great Pumpkin like a blockhead." The group arrive just in time to see Taehyung yelling at Namjoon. Taehyung grabs Namjoon by his shirt and shakes him roughly, "You owe me restitution!!!" The rest of the group look at Namjoon, who doesn't make any move to leave. They all shrug and make their way home. "Hey, aren't you going to stay and wait for the Great Pumpkin? It won't be long until he gets here," Namjoon says, "That's alright, if he comes, I'll put in a good word for you. Wait....I said if....I meant when. When he comes!!!" He shakes his head and looks around distressed. "Oh no...one little mess up like that and the Great Pumpkin will skip you right over," Namjoon mutters.

A few hours later, Yoongi wakes up. He goes to the kitchen and gets a sip of water. He walks to Namjoon's room and frowns when he sees the untouched bed. He grabs a coat and makes his way out of the house. He walks to the pumpkin patch and sees Namjoon. His legs are curled to his chest and he is shivering. Yoongi sighs at the sight. He goes over to Namjoon and helps him stand up. He leads him back to their house. When they return, he pushes Namjoon to his bedroom. Yoongi bends down and helps him take off his shoes, which he throws to the side of the room. He gently pushes Namjoon, making him lie on the bed. He pulls the bedsheets over him. Namjoon falls asleep fairly fast and a soft snoring can be heard. Yoongi shakes his head before leaving the room and going back to bed.

The next day, Jimin and Namjoon are talking. They lean against a brick wall as they talk. "Another Halloween gone. I don't get it, Namjoon hyung. I went trick or treating. I should have gotten chocolate. I ended up with a bag of rocks..." Jimin complains, "Did you spend all night in the pumpkin patch?"

"Yeah..." Namjoon says in sad tone.

Jimin sighs, "I'm guessing he didn't come."

Namjoon shake his head, "No, he didn't."

"Don't worry about it, Namjoon. I've done some stupid things in my life too," Jimin states. Namjoon takes a minute to process what he had just said. He frowns and starts to rant, "It wasn't stupid. What do you mean stupid!? Just you wait, Park Jimin. Next Halloween, I will see the Great Pumpkin! You'll see. I'll find a pumpkin patch that is really sincere. I'll sit in that pumpkin patch until then Great Pumpkin appears!" Jimin shakes his head and listens as Namjoon goes on and on. Namjoon exclaims in a loud voice, "He'll rise from the pumpkin patch and fly around with his bag of toys. The Great Pumpkin will appear. I'll be there when he does. I'll meet the Great Pumpkin. You'll all see, he's real! Just you wait, Park Jimin! He'll come!"
