ALEX HAD SECRETS.
Everyone did. Alex Fierro just seemed to have a lot more than anyone else.
And of course, having too many secrets is not healthy.
So in a way, Alex was glad that Magnus Chase listened.
Alex had been sat on his bed when Magnus knocked.
'Alex? Can I come in?'
'Sure.'
He walked into Alex's bedroom.
'You OK?'
'I'm fine, Magnus.' The snark had returned.
'You're clearly not. What's bothering you?'
He sounded legitimately concerned.
Alex wasn't used to people being concerned about his wellbeing. He'd been shunted for his entire life, first by his parents, then by regular passerby when he lived on the streets.
Needless to say, they weren't concerned.
'It's nothing. Go away.'
'Alex, I'm not stupid. I can tell something's bothering you. You don't have to tell me what it is, but at least admit there is something bothering you.'
'Fine. I admit it. Now go away.'
'As you wish.'
With that, Magnus left, leaving Alex guilty for being so rude to him when he just wanted to help.
He decided that he would tell Magnus tomorrow, and nothing would stop him.
And done!
For the uneducated, FierroChase is the ship of Alex Fierro and Magnus Chase from the Magnus Chase series.
This book will probably be just Rick Riordan ships for right now, but sooner or later new ships will be implemented.
Also, an update.
Arcadia is being put ON HOLD.
I have some other ideas for right now, but I'll get back to it.
