After Garmadon and the cult members were arrested, Kai went to talk to Ash. As soon as Ash saw him, she and Nix burst out laughing. "Why are you two laughing?"

"Your hair looks like chocolate soft serve." Ash replied between breaths. Nix tapped her on the shoulder and showed her something which made the two laugh even harder.

"It's not that funny."

"Yes it is." Kai looked at Krux, who just shrugged, but was trying to hide a grin. The two calmed down eventually and Jay jokingly told Krux that he had doomed them all for letting Ash and Nix become friends.

Kai's hair do be looking like chocolate soft serve.(from season 8 and onward)

Ash will either bully Nix, straight up protect him from Kai's wrath, or do both at the same time.
