This is an excerpt from a major AU I have written. And I'm only going to post this, but I have some notes for you.

- Cole has a twin sister named Denver. Born on August 28, 1996. She is also another master of earth, but her powers are weaker and doesn't depend on them often unless threatened.

- Denver officially met the other ninja right after Chen's defeat.

- Karlof has a crush on Denver and the two eventually get married and have a daughter later on.

- Events of show happen in real time.

That's all you really need to know. Now on to the story.

April 3, 2015 (time unknown)

Everyone was cleaning the Corridor of Elders after the defeat of Chen and his army. Karlof was taking something to the pile of rubble when he bumped into someone. "Karlof is sorry. Karlof didn't mean to bump into you." He said. The person turned around to reveal a girl.

"Oh, it's alright. My name is Denver. Denver Brookestone. I'm Cole's twin sister. And your name is Karlof I presume?" She asked back. Karlof nodded. "It's nice to meet you." Denver held out her hand and the master of metal shook it. The two continued to talk until Cole walked over to them.

"I see that you and Karlof are getting along fine. I just don't want any nieces or nephews yet. Alright?" Cole replied. The two blushed.

"I want to strangle you so bad dude. And our friendship is platonic. So go back to your ninja buddies."

"I want you to meet them now that you have the time to." Denver nodded and went with Cole. She turned around and waved to Karlof, who waved back. The siblings joined the other ninja, who started asking Denver tons of questions. "Alright guys. One at a time. Den hates being cornered and will kick your asses. Trust me, her bullies never messed with her again." Denver first walked up to Wu.

"You must be Cole's teacher. It's nice to finally meet you." She said.

"You too. Alright everybody, load up onto the Bounty, I believe it's time to go home."  Everyone boarded the flying ship and headed towards Ninjago City. Karlof and Denver talked some more.

Once in the city, Denver and Cole got off and were immediately pulled into a hug by their father. "I'm so glad that you two are safe. I don't know what I would do if I lost you guys." Lou said as he was on the verge of tears.

"Dad, we're fine. I would never let anyone or anything hurt Den. She's also seeing someone." Cole replied. Denver slapped him.

"Karlof and I are not dating. We just met Dirtclod. Dad, tell him to stop teasing me." The siblings then stuck their tongues out at each other while Lou rolled his eyes.

"You two may be adults, but you act like little children sometimes. Anyways, how about you two come over for dinner? Just the three of us. I want to spend time with my kids." The three said goodbye to the others and went home to be a family.
