Ash is a formling and her form is a dragon. She is also expecting.

It was a peaceful night until a portal opened up above the monastery with two people landing in the training yard. The time twins sat up and groaned. "Uh, we're at the monastery. Let's go find the ninja and fight them." Acronix said.

"Hold on. It's quiet. Let's sneak in and look around. Plus, I don't think they're home." Acronix agreed and the two went inside, careful not to make any noise in case their enemies were home. The two were in the kitchen when they heard a door open and the person walking towards them.

"Quick, into the dining room." Krux said. The two ran and hid behind the doorframe. As the footsteps got closer, the twins were panicking. The kitchen light was turned on and they could hear someone rummaging through the fridge. Acronix peeked around the frame and saw a man.

"The man has gray skin and he's in his boxers." He whispered.

"That's Shade, the current master of shadow. What's he doing here?" Krux got his answer when he heard the voice of an old friend.

"Shane, where are you?" Ash asked.

"I'm in the kitchen."

"Hey, it's that girl. Let's fight them." Acronix said. Krux peeked around this time and was shocked. Acronix was about to reveal himself when Krux stopped him.

"We're not gonna fight them. Look." Acronix did and noticed that Ash was pregnant. The two stayed put and listened in on their conversation.

"Ash, what are you doing up? You're supposed to be on bed rest because your gout has been flaring up lately."

"I know, but when you didn't come back right away, I had to find you. What are you doing?" Ash asked back.

"Well, I was grabbing the rest of the apple pie for us to share. There's only less than a quarter left, so might as well finish it." Shade replied.

"Ok. Since we're out here, we can eat it in the dining room. I don't want crumbs in my bed."

"Our bed." Shade said while doing some weird movement with his arms. Ash just rolled her eyes.

"I'll get us two glasses of milk if you get the vanilla ice cream out too." Shade nodded. The twins were panicking again until Krux saw another door.

"Let's sneak out that way." They did. As the two were almost out the door, the twins heard some clucking and turned around to see a chicken.

"It's just a chicken. Looks harmless enough." Acronix tried to grab it only for the bird to start lighting up with electricity. It then shocked them, which caught the attention of Ash and Shade. The couple saw two people running towards the door. Shade ran and vanished. The twins were in the yard heading for the outer doors when Shade materialized right in front of them as the floodlights were activated. The Shadow Master was shocked for a split second before changing towards the twins. As Shade was about to attack Krux, a dragon stood between them.

"Ash, what are you doing? They need to be stopped." Shade said. The twins were surprised to here this. Ash stayed put and looked at the intruders. Acronix waved at her nervously.

"H-hi there. You're name's Ash right? It's a, nice to meet you finally. Um, cool dragon form I must admit." Ash just looked at him with confusion. "Krux and I will be heading out now, so I guess I'll see you later." Acronix tried to walk past the giant reptile, bit Ash and Shade blocked his path.

"Brother, they're not going to let you pass. We might as well surrender. And we're powerless." Krux told him. Ash then turned her attention towards him specifically. Krux was slowly backing away as Ash crept closer to him. He was now backed against the wall and breathing heavily.

"I'm sorry for everything. I never meant to hurt you. You were never an enemy to me and never will be." Krux began to develop tears in his eyes. Ash became human again and pulled the older twin into a hug as Acronix and Shade looked on.

"Wow." Was all Acronix said. Shade somewhat relaxed, but still had his guard up. After about two minutes, Ash let go of Krux. She walked back over to her husband and whispered something into his ear. Shade nodded.

"MCNUGGET!" He yelled. The chicken that was chasing the twins moments ago emerged from the door. Acronix freaked out and hid behind his brother. She now had them cornered.

"Get that chicken away from me. I'm scared of it." Acronix's pleas fell on deaf ears.

"Good girl. You'll get extra corn for dinner tomorrow night. Shane, can you contact my dad and tell them of the situation? I need to sit." Ash said as she sat on the ground.

"Yes. I'll get you a chair too. McNugget, hold them there." Shade ran inside leaving Ash with the twins. Krux and Acronix however, were too scared to move with the fear of getting shocked.

"So Ash, um, congrats. I wanted to fight you earlier until Krux pointed out that you're having a baby." Ash turned and glared at Acronix. "Ok, you don't want to talk to me right now, I understand. I'm sorry." He noticed a slight smile on Ash's face.

"That's all I wanted to hear. You two were never supposed to be evil in the first place. But dad and the ninja have to know about your return. They have been waiting for the day you guys do. Yet, they're in Shintaro for Princess Vania's birthday."

"We know. So where did you get the chicken?" Krux decided to ask.

"Dad got McNugget to help keep the others in line. Yet, we all love her and she's part of the family. McNugget never shot lightning at me, but Shane, she did not like him at first."

"Really?"

"Oh yeah. Everytime he would visit before moving in, McNugget would chase him around the monastery."

"What changed?"

"Let's just sat he gave her corn as a peace offering and she accepted." Just then, Shade walked back out with a chair. He helped Ash up and she sat back down. Shade was on video call. The twins saw Wu on the other side. They nervously waved at him.

"I'd never hurt Ash, you know that. I even told my brother and the Vermillion to leave her alone." Krux said.

"I know. And we respect you for that. I can sense that you two want to change, but you guys will have to be placed in jail for the time being." The twins nodded. Pixal will be there soon. Shane, may I talk to Ash?" Shade gave the phone to her. "Ash, do you feel comfortable around the twins?"

"Yes, I do."

"That's all I wanted to hear. Now, when Pixal leaves with them, I want you to go inside and relax." Ash nodded. Wu hung up. Twenty minutes later, Pixal arrived to grab the twins. Before she flew away, Ash spoke.

"Pixal, tell the commissioner if I find out that Krux and Acronix are being treated badly, I won't hesitate to go off on the whole station." The nindroid nodded. Ash then turned to Acronix. "And before you ask, I'm having a girl. Because I know you wanted to earlier." The twin smiled and Pixal left with them.

Ash was lying in bed when Shade came in with the pie they were eating earlier. She gave him a look.

"I know you don't want crumbs in the bed, but your dad said that you needed to relax." Ash laughed.

"I guess I can make an exception. Now let's eat that pie, I'm hungry." The two ate and went to sleep.

Krux and Acronix were no longer a threat and lived peacefully alongside the other masters.

And yes, Shade's real name is Shane.
