J-Hope's POV
I awoke to the sound of birds chirping outside my window, all giving out a beautiful tune. The sound of nature was always a natural way for me to wake up, adding that extra spring in my step. I walked over to my window and opened the curtains, letting in the sunlight, removing the dark shadows from the corners of my room. I immediately grabbed my phone and saw a message from Y/N.

I grabbed my car keys and hopped into my car. I couldn't wait for her to meet the boys, they would be sure to love her. She has already captured me, I love everything about her. They would definitely see her in the same way, she was a brilliant person and she brings out the light in me.

I reached her front door and knocked loud enough for her to hear me. Within a few seconds, the front door opened and Y/N engulfed me in a hug, the scent of her perfume made me feel even more relaxed. She pulled away and I took her by the hand and led her to my car. I opened the door for her and helped her in before I rushed over to the driver's seat. As I got in, she rested her hand over mine which was placed over the gear stick, I could definitely get used to this.

During the ride we sat in a comfortable silence as her presence alone was more than enough. She made me feel complete, as though my problems had faded away and I was finally able to experience happiness. We eventually pulled up to the door and Y/N's eyes lit up. It was a beautiful from the outside. The greenery contrasted the white walls, making it look aesthetically pleasing. Just that small thing captured people, making them realise the beauty.

I grabbed my keys and unlocked the door and stepped aside, letting Y/N in first. She slid her shoes off and neatly put them next to all the other shoes. I followed her previous actions and then led her into the living room. This was where it would get interesting. The boys instantly looked in her direction, and clearly she looked slightly uncomfortable with all the eyes lingering over her. I intertwined my fingers with hers and pulled her back slightly, somewhat out of the boys gazes. She took a deep breathe before bowing towards the boys.

"Hi, I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you." She introduced herself, she was rather shy.
"Hi, I'm Jin. But you can call me worldwide handsome!" Jin was the first to speak.
"Guys, I'm pretty sure she knows who we are. She was finally able to recognise me after I told her my proper name." I explained, feeling Y/N's grip on my hand loosen.
"So, you're an army?" Jimin asks.
"Yeah, I am. I've been an army for about a year." She replies, a lot more confident then before.

The day pretty much went like that, we all got to know Y/N a lot better than before. She was everything I was hoping she was, she was the definition of perfect. It was amazing how one person can completely change your perspective and make you see the world in a whole new light. She really was my one and only sunshine.

The boys really seemed to like her positivity, she seemed to make me the best version of myself.  Just before I took her home, they all exchanged numbers and arranged another time for everyone to meet up. It was obvious I was falling, the boys would often catch me blushing after she smiled or cracked a really cheesy joke, I just couldn't help it. She has completely changed my life for the better, I was proud to be able to walk around with my head held high. My parents wouldn't be able to get to me now, I wouldn't let that happen. It's finally time I stood up for myself.

A few days later
Here I was yet again, sat around my parents dining table. My mother hadn't said anything yet, she was just thinking of the best thing to say at an unexpected moment. I poked around the food on my plate with a fork, my appetite was clearly forgotten. My mother would often start a conversation with my sisters, and would clearly state how much better they were than the son they so clearly despised. It didn't effect me in any way, I felt stronger then before.

"Are you going to eat or not? I didn't make this meal for such a disappointment to waste it, money doesn't grow on trees!" My mother suddenly spoke up, a harsh tone filled her voice.
"Oh, but mother, if I'm such a disappointment then why do you always invite me to dinner? You could just pretend I don't exist and disappeared off the face of the planet. But clearly, if I'm such a 'disappointment', why do you cook a meal for me, when I could just be starved. Clearly, you seem to  have such a problem with me, it's really confusing me. You claim to hate me and never wanted to have me. Then why am I sat here?" The words seemed to leave my mouth, it was bitter, but had to be said.
"You know what, leave then. You should never have been born, you're a disgrace to the family name. If anything, your sisters have a better chance in life, they are all happy in their relationships, carrying out the family name and legacy to settle down. But then there's you. You meddle around with those stupid boys and make yourself look even more stupid then you already are." She spat back at me, the words didn't sting. I had hope.
"My life is actually not like that. You wouldn't know that, I have a rapping career and the boys are always going to be so much better than you. Always have been, and always will be. And I'll have you know that I've met someone, she makes me feel things I've never felt before. She brings out the best of me and I'm so glad that I found her. My confidence has been so much better since the day I first met her. It's obvious I'm falling for her, but I want to take it all slow. I don't want to make her uncomfortable." I let all the weight off of my chest, feeling a lot better about things.

My mother looked at me in shock, unable to form another word. My sisters both came over to me and engulfed me in a big hug. This was not what I had envisioned, I thought my mother was going to be so much more worse then she already was. But clearly, I had spoken far too early.

"So, it's fair to say that you are a big disappointment. A rapper is a career you chose? You must be kidding me, only doing it for the fame. Our family would be just fine without you. Don't even consider me and the rest of this family, part of anything. You mean nothing to us and we will all be better off without you. This family has wasted so much money on you for a better career, and yet this is how you repay us. We were left with nothing more than a waste of space. Why couldn't you be like your siblings? Instead, you're a brat and that's all you will ever be. Don't bother to return here, you're no longer part of our family and never will be. Now, get out of our home and don't return. I won't hesitate to call the police on you and have you removed by force!" The words pierced my heart, but I didn't let it get the better of me.
"Before I leave, I want to say one thing. You never were considered my family. Never have, never will. Dawon, Mejiwoo, enjoy living in hell. She'll only start to treat you like me." These were the final words to leave my mouth before I made my way to the place where I first met Y/N. The coffee shop.

A/N
Hey guys, I know I haven't published properly in a while. I had originally wrote this chapter and published it, but it didn't publish properly so I deleted it. I'm going to be honest, writing this chapter made me cry, and the words used stung my heart. The emotions really got to me. Please, never repeat what I wrote, this is only for part of the storyline. I'm pretty sure I mentioned something to do with this in the book bio. At some point, I will be changing the bio, but not right now. I have school tomorrow, so I will be publishing next week, either on Saturday or Sunday. Thanks for reading this chapter, I love you all <3
