READER'S POV

We managed to get back to the castle but poor Strider and Rose were a bit wet so I took them both into my bedroom and I got a towel out and dried them both. After I dried the both of them I looked outside and it was raining hard and there was a mixture of sleet as well it was starting to cold so I wore some warm pyjamas and I got a robe.

I sat on the bed and Strider came up and he cuddled into me he was trying to warm me up. Suddenly there was a loud thunder and a flash of lighting I got a fright and then I heard whimpering noise from underneath the bed.

I got off the bed and I looked underneath it and it was Rose she was shivering with fear. I said to Strider,"Strider you go ahead and comfort her I'm gonna go and ask one of the maids if they can make me some hot chocolate."

"Your wish is my command, my lady." A familiar said. "!?" I turned around and Dark Link had a tray with two mugs of hot chocolate. "Thanks Dark Link." I said as I got a mug and I sipped some of it and tasted very good.

"Mmm, this is good."I said as I tasted the hot chocolate. Dark Link then said,"Yeah, what's the matter with Rose?"

"She just got a fright from a loud thunder just now Strider is trying to comfort her."I said. Dark Link looked at me and said,"what about you?are you OK with this storm going on?"

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine."I said. I thought to myself,"NOT! I'm terrified of thunder and lighting" I thought to myself.

"Are you sure? you don't look it." Dark Link said as he looked at my scared face. I said,"I said I'll be fine besides the only one who is not OK is Rose." We both looked at her and Strider moved his head over to Rose's face as of his way of comforting her.

"Like I said Strider likes her." Dark Link said. I smiled at them and said,"Yeah he sure does Dark Link." After I finished drinking the hot chocolate a maid came and she took the tray away I then got a warm blanket and I placed it over Strider and Rose and then they both fell asleep on Strider's dog bed. I got up and I got an extra bed cover and I got under the bed sheets and I was still feeling a bit cold eventually I fell asleep.

Dreamworld...

I was playing with Strider and I went over to mum and said,"Mummy, can you play with me and Strider?"

"Not now sweetie maybe later." She said as she paid more attention to her laptop. I sighed sadly and said,"You always say that but you never play with us."

I went the stairs sadly and I sat on my bed and I looked at the photo of my big brother and daddy. I then started to cry and Strider tried to comfort me by placing his head on my shoulder.

"(Y/N)..." Someone said.

I woke up and I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and when I looked up it was Dark Link. He had a worried look on his face and he said,"Are you OK? you were crying in your sleep." I touched my cheeks and I felt some tear drops on my face so I quickly wiped them away and I said,"I'm fine I just had a dream about what happened after dad and my brother died."

"Oh." Dark Link said. Suddenly there was a loud thunder and I wrapped my arms around Dark Link and I buried my face in his chest.

DARK LINK'S POV

(Y/N) got a fright and she suddenly wrapped her arms around me and she buried her face in my chest I said,"Hey, are you OK?"

"No! I'm not OK! I'm terrified of thunder storms!" She shouted. I sweat dropped and said,"Why didn't you say so when I asked you from before?"

"Because I didn't want you to think I was a scary cat I thought I gotten over it but I haven't." She said as she buried her face in my chest. I said,"Hey it's all right for you to be honest with me." I got into bed with her and I held her close to my chest and she was blushing bright red. There was a bright flash and she grabbed the covers and she hid herself.

"Hey there's no need to hide, I'm here." I said as I lifted the cover off her head. (Y/N) then moved the covers off her head and she placed her head on my shoulder and I wrapped my arm around her and she started to calm down a little and then she fell asleep.

THE NEXT MORNING...

READER'S POV

I woke up and dark Link wasn't lying next to me I placed my hand where he was sleeping last night and the bed sheets still felt warm meaning he probably left about a few minutes ago. I smiled a little about what happened last night but then my thoughts were interrupted when something was on top of me I looked over and it was Strider he thought I was still asleep.

"OK OK Strider I'm up." I said as I sat up. Strider came over to me and I scratched his face I was about to get up until a maid came in and she had some breakfast made for me.

"Here you go Miss (Y/N), Breakfast is served and here's some of Strider's favourite dog food." The maid said. I said,"Thank you." After she gave me some breakfast I was about to dig in until Strider started to sniff the bacon and I said,"Beat it, you've got your own."

"*Whimper*" Strider wimps as he gives me the puppy look. I said,"Don't give me that look go and eat your own food." Strider got off the bed and he ate his food. We finished eating our breakfast and then the maid came in and she took the tray and Strider's pet bowl away before she left she said,"And Miss (Y/N), master dark Link said he'll be away for a while he'll be back soon as he can."

"OK thanks for letting me know." I said and then she left the room.

"I wonder where he gone to? Oh well, like he said he'll be back soon." I thought to myself.
