Etsu POV.

"Etsu, your breakfast is ready!" My mom yelled from down stairs.

I started to get up. What time is it? I looked at my phone and it was 8:07. Shoot! I might actually be late this time. (For people that don't understand, her school starts at 8:20)

"Mom why didn't you wake me up?" I asked.

"You looked very peaceful." My mom told me.

"That is a horrible reason. You know I need to go to school." I told her.

"Onee-chan, your phone is vibrating." My little brother informed me.

"Thanks, wait why do you have my phone!?" I yelled at him.

"Um... No reason." he told me while giving me my phone and ran away.

"That little brat." I said quietly so that my mom could not here me.

I went back into my room to get ready. I looked at myself after I got dressed. I wonder if Hikaru would notice me? I thought to myself. Wait why am I even thinking that! I looked at my reflection in the mirror, and I was a little red.

"Etsu! Hurry up." My mom yelled from down stairs.

"Coming!" I yelled.

I started to run down stairs. I got to the door and started to get out when..... I heard a knock!?

"Who is it?" I asked while opening the door.

"It's me." said a familiar voice.

"Hikaru?" I asked as I peeked out the door. To my surprise it was him.

"Hey Etsu." he said while slightly waving.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"I came here to get you." he told me.

"Oh thanks, but you didn't have to." I said.

He started to look down and disappointed. Maybe that was to harsh when he did come all the way here.

"I'm sorry..." he apologized.

"No need to apologize." I told him.

"Then shall we go?" he asked.

"Yes." I replied.

I waved goodbye to my mom and left. We started walking together side by side which kind of felt awkward. I felt this weird tension inside me. After about 5 minutes of walking in silence we arrived at school on time.

"Etsu!" Ayame yelled while running towards us.

"Did he do anything to you?" she asked worried while holding my hands.

"No, he just walked with me to school." I told her.

"If you say so. You better have not done anything to Etsu, Hikaru." Ayame glared at him.

Ayame POV.

I saw Etsu with Hikaru walking together to school, and very close to each other.

"Etsu!" I called out while running towards her.

"Did he do anything to you?" I asked very worried while holding her hands.

"No, he just walked with me to school." She told me.

"If you say so. You better not have done anything to Etsu, Hikaru." I glared.

I couldn't explain how I felt right now. I had a mixture of anger, happiness, sadness, and confusion. So I just decided to plaster a smile on my face.

"Okay, now let's go, or we'll be late to class." I told them.
