When Jane woke up the next morning, she looked at the clock. It said 8:00 A.M. She wanted to see Parriet but she knew she couldn't. It was almost time for school. It was time for school! She quickly got dressed and dashed downstairs. She quickly grabbed a piece of toast out of the rusty toaster and headed outside. Her very puzzled dad followed her. (I remember I was trying to add more adjectives in this paragraph.) When they were in the car Jane asked, "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" Dad answered, "I think my clock is broke but I don't know." (Broken. Not broke. Argh my grammar mistakes haha!)

When they were at school Jane went straight to her classroom instead of looking at the colorful posters on the wall and the rainbow painted ceiling. When she got to her classroom she asked, "Am I late? Are the others on the field trip? Did you mark me absent?" The teacher said, "You are early. Go look on the school bulletin board." Jane went out in the hall. On the bulletin board it said LATE START in big letters.

After school Jane went to see Parriet. Her dad came with her. "Don't feed her your blueberries, Jane," he said. Jane asked, "Why?" "We're going to the riding academy," said dad.

They loaded Parriet into the trailer and went to the riding academy. When they got there a girl with dark brown hair walked up to them and said, "Hello! My name is Jen and I'm the owner of Lexington Stables. What's your name?" Jane said, "I'm Jane and my horse is Parriet." (She doesn't even introduce her dad 😂 Probably because he doesn't have a name!) She went into the stable. "This is the tack room," said a girl. "I'm Emily, the stable hand." Emily had orange hair and a big smile. She helped Jane tack up. Jane lead Parriet outside. (Grammar mistake: supposed to be "led") In front of them was a girl with red hair and freckles. "I'm the instructor, Ann," said the girl. Ann had Jane walk around the ring over poles. "You're a riding star," said Ann. Jane smiled. She was. (Wow, she literally just got a wild horse that doesn't seem to need taming and she walked over some poles and she thinks she is a "riding star?" 😂)
