"Theres some good left in the world...right?"

Once, a family of noble blood, just a mere lord and lady were taking a stroll one afternoon, it was dusk outside and just the last bits of lingering sun remained. As it set, the two heard small pitter pattering of feet in the distance. Looking around, they found nothing, only foot prints on the side of the streets where water was, muddy water. The prints were small and agile, much like a child's. The lady held a medium sized bag of groceries, filled with jewels, food, and other needs they needed for the house. She felt it being tugged, falling back into the muddy streets a small girl with long black hair was rummaging through the bag. "Hey! Get out of there you street rat!" The Lord yelled, reaching out and grabbing the small thing by her hair and lifting her off of his wife. Kicking and struggling, the child reached into her small, tattered dress and growled, hoisting out a knife and slashing the lord's forearm.

As he dropped her she grabbed the lady's bag and scrambled away into an alleyway. Dead end. She dived under a few empty boxes and remained perfectly silent after that. The angry Lord stormed in after her, looking around the lady pleaded with him to not kill the little innocent thing. "She's a dirty street rat and needs to be put down before she creates an epidemic." He sneered. The girl sneezed  and looked both adults looked her way. "Hey there.." The Lady kneeled and held out her hand to her. "We won't hurt you just come here. We'll keep you safe." She cooed. And the child obeyed, signs of she wasn't always like this. The lady scooped her up in her arms and held her carefully. "I'll take that." She chirped and swiped the knife away from her, tossing it into the mud.

Years after that, the small street rat learned manners, how to dress herself and earned her own money. She learned to call her adoptive parents mom and dad, and loved them very much. Her hair grew and slowly turned white for some unknown reason. Not that anyone really minded, it was long, silky and beautiful. Told never to cut it by her parents she wore it proudly along with the family crest that was given to her and she adopted to love and honor. One day out on her own, she was traveling to the market and bumped into a group of large men. Almost defenseless against them, she ran, cornered in the same alleyway she was found. They gagged her mouth and bound her hands behind her back, a sharp claw like ring slashed her cheek, and they used her in ways that no one should even speak of. Before lodging a knife straight through her breast and into her heart. Finished with her they left her there..and she died.

Years later but only a night for her, she awoke, her skin pale as snow, her eyes grey and her hair dirty. There was still a slash on her cheek, and she didn't know what it was from. She was dressed in a tunic of a light blue that emitted a soft glow. Noticing her hands they showed the same thing. A soft blue glow.

Still thinking she was in her time, but it had actually fifty plus years she had been asleep, and not knowing. She looked for her parents, found her home gone, and found her crest, plastered across two graves. Heartbroken, and cold she found herself to be called Entity. When people did see that at least that's what they called her. She kept her hair, but keeps it tied in a loose bun. None of her wounds healed, but also deal her no pain. She learned to fight as well, she would never be defenseless again, she would defend those you couldn't themselves, especially from what she had to go through...even if she barely remembered it.

Extras: She keeps herself lightly armored so she can stay light on her feet. She wasn't an assassin though, she could never find herself to blend in. She can change from a transparent ghostly form, and a true physical form she can only hold for a few hours, but a certain substance will make her very weak in both states. She hasn't yet found it, but its out there. She has a bird that follows her, same types of powers but in a bird form. He is her companion, his name is Rave.

She knows how to act in almost any situation where manners are involved, she knows how to be a proper lady. At least..in her time.

Scenario:

You were walking by yourself, if you had a friend group you split, family you went to retrieve something on your own. Even after being warned being by yourself wasn't a smart idea, you did it anyways to prove yourself to them. You didn't even notice the hooded figure behind you that had been following you once you were a block away from your friend's safety. You whistled a tune as you went and the figure drew closer. It wasn't until you felt hot breath float down your neck you turned around, finding yourself that you can't scream. Your eyes widened up to see a (if you're female you see a male, if you're male you see a female) grinning down at you. "Come along don't fight, this will be over quickly." They cooed in your ear. Leading you down into a dark part of town, where crime ran free and no one gave a shit what you were up to. The person holding you pinned you to a wall and pulled a knife on your neck. "You going to fight?" They asked. You..?
