"Don't touch me...for your own sake"
Lingering in a small home, everything was perfect. A baby girl named Tris was adopted into a family of a mother, father, and two older brothers. Whom were...never really nice to her as a child. She was found on the parent's doorsteps one morning, and of course the loving family had to take her in. As the little one grew up she learned to be called Tris by her parents, rascal, outcast, and other mean things by her brothers. She never really seemed to mind, always wondering off into the forest day after day, always home before dinner, just to get away from her brothers it seemed.
Each day as she grew older, wiser, and more curious about the world off of their small farm. Whenever their parents would travel into town, both boys, who grew into the names of Titas (bigger, stronger build, and the oldest) and Damon (the smarter of the two) with Tris would come along. The boys would go shopping, while Tris would explore up a hill close to that village. It was the first time she had ever gone when she was ten, Titas and Damon were fourteen and fifteen years old.
Eventually when she had her own horse, she would leave for weeks at a time to work at that village, and bring back loads of food for the family..not that her brothers were any help. Either lounging around or teaching themselves their way with a sword. But, she caught the eye of a handsome young boy who looked about her age. He was strong, sweet, with gentle eyes. They were..almost perfect, Tris thought about, after seeing this man for months her real reason for leaving her home so much. Tris, being an inexperienced girl was lured to stay with him for a night, one night, in his room before he had to return to his duties at a castle far in the north, a guard. She trusted him, with everything, kissed him, rustled under the sheets with him. Everything, just everything was perfect everything was that night...was. But when she woke up from that amazing night, he was gone.
It wasn't until weeks later that they got a knock from a hooded woman, a falcon soaring high above. Her mother answered the door and the woman took off her cloak. "I'm looking for a girl named Tris." The female said as a smirk tugged onto her lips. Tris's mother frowned and called for Tris, who came walking up moments later. "Come dear, I must have a word with you about an occurrence in these last few weeks.
As the woman and Tris took a walk in the forest, the woman explained how the man Tris had laid with, was her husband long term and he had told her that she had forced him down into bed. Before Tris could even protest she felt an invisible hand close in around her throat, restraining her from speaking. "My dear, I haven't come to hurt you, but you will pay for what you've done to my beloved" She purred at Tris, touching a hand onto her shoulder. It burned dear god it burned into her skin her body prickling as she tried to call out for help but not a sound escaped her lips. Her face was turning blue, while her body was heating up, boiling from the inside out. "You little **** will pay for what you've done. Because from this day on, any man, or woman who touches your skin will burn like you are now!" The witch was no normal human no...she was the personal sorcerous of the same castle that man was from, highly skilled, highly lethal.
"You will never feel the touch from a lover any longer you foolish girl!" The witch yelled, before dropping Tris on the ground and throwing the dark cloak around the girl. "Have a nice life." She purred before disappearing into the setting sun. Tris never saw her again. The fire had singed her hair to her shoulders, the tips a light blueish color, a reminder if the skin wasn't enough. So Tris picked herself up, clutching the dark cloak closer and dragged her burning, aching body home. Trust no one. That burned itself into her brain that day. She never let anyone touch her, in fear she would boil them from in inside out. She wore gloves, cloaks, long sleeve shirts, pants if not long skirts or dresses. All skin was covered except for her face. She didn't want anyone's blood on her hands.
Extras: Her brothers now work in the castle as a healer/inventor (Damon) and a fierce war hero (Titus)
Fun fact: The witch used the "boil everyone you touch" to scare Tris, it'll only grow increasingly hotter the longer you touch her skin to skin.
Personality: Tris is a super friendly, kind girl. But ever since that "incident" has been closed off, to afraid to befriend anyone else (especially men) in fear she might hurt someone. She ran away from home and has been just outside of the village nearest to the castle ever since. She enters the market once a month to collect items she may need for that month. She gets in, and out as quick as she can. Not much else is known, the few conversations she has are shortly informative and very short. She will act mean/rude though if she believes someone is trying to get close, and is often quick to that tactic. Tris does not trust men at all and will often push them away even faster if she believes he wants something out of her.
Scenario:
You're the (king/queen) of (the kingdom she lives in/another) and you were being escorted through the villages atop your horse headed towards the large castle before you. You heard people yelling a few things, but not at you, no. They were shouting at a small cloaked figure who was pushing people away as they started to crowd her. "Shoo get off!" A female voice squeaked out as the crowds formed in around you. You caught sight of the commotion and halted. "Hey give her some space" You called to the people, they backed away from the cloaked girl who turned and looked at you. She was covered head to toe in thick pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves boots. And of course the obvious cloak. She looked up at you and bowed her head. "It's too hot for all those layers, why don't you take them off?" You asked her, she bowed her head to you. "With all due respect I quite prefer to keep them on." She said, turning and bolting down an alleyway. Confused, you shrugged it off and began walking again...the girl had acted odd..to you at least. Whispers rose up from the people and you struggled to listen in. "She doesn't let anyone touch her.. I hear..not even her own family." "Yea that girl must be very insecure if she hides all that skin"This girl was no stranger to this village, and with your power, you could hunt her down to get the truth. Your thoughts were inturrupted by a loud yell. "HEY GIVE THAT BACK, THEIF THEEEEIIIFFF" A merchant yelled, it was the cloaked girl, with an armful of food running towards a brown arabian horse who waited patiently. You...?
