Well, when she turned seventeen, her father started to travel with her in search of a suitor who was of a good position, and who she loved. After a year of searching, she and her father went to Romania where she met Zaros. The two fell in love and began a courtship. After many complicated events within a month of meeting, the two separated for a year for Zaros's rehabilitation from his blood addiction and Elysa's safety. The two met again a year later and joined forces to battle a neighboring kingdom that was invading her father's principality. When Elysa went to the village to warn the people and bring the vulnerable to safety, she was shot by an enemy griffin rider's arrow on the way. Luckily, Zaros got to her quickly and turned her into a vampire to save her life.
