Appearance: Leather has ruby-red skin, a grey nose, wavy, flowing black hair kept slightly wild, and emerald-green eyes. In terms of clothing, she wears a white leather jacket over a grey T-shirt, as well as black chain pants. She has her ears accessorized with links from a broken chain, and whenever she's outside of Rock Hollow during the day, she wears black-and-silver wraparound fashion designer shades, which are usually topping off her hair.

Personality: Like her fellow Rock Trolls, Leather is fiercely rebellious in spirit. She expresses this through her model choices, offering the job of showing off her fashion creations to "basically anyone who's interested" in defiance of beauty standards. She's never afraid to speak her mind (or randomly shout it, if she's thinking about something particularly passionate), no matter who's listening.

She also gets frustrated quite easily and can't stand to be referred to as Nancy (except by her mother), insisting that everyone call her Leather.

History: Growing up, Leather had always been quite the popular social butterfly (as well as a member of The Rah-Rah-Rebels cheerleading team). No matter what, she always found a way to stir up fun. Even back then, however, she dreamed of being a designer, frequently drawing up clothing... especially in class.

She also had a best friend named Lance, who was bullied and ridiculed for his freckles and "Cuddle Pup eyes" (which were magnified by his glasses). Leather decided to cheer him up by having him wear model some of her fashion creations at school. The other Trolls stopped bullying Lance after that (partly because they knew Leather wouldn't let any of them get away with it), but Leather still harbors deep resentment towards not just her own tribe's beauty standards, but also the beauty standards of other tribes.

Relationships: Satin and Chenille- As one would expect, Leather is quite close with the Fashion Twins and likes to help settle their arguments. That being said, she also tends to playfully tease some of their girlier works... not that she isn't partial to some well-studded (or bedazzled) leather herself.

Laguna Tidepool- Leather noticed that despite attending Nova Swift's Trend Reports, Laguna never seemed to follow any of said trends (unless they caught her personal interest) and had even commented on some of the more questionable trends. This has left Leather amazed and yearning to be friends with the Antrollpologist... but also shocked to see such boldness and wit from a Techno Troll. Eventually, the two became close friends, with Laguna even becoming Leather's manager.

Onyx- Leather has taught the Goth prince how to sew leather, and he overall finds her quite approachable (aside from her volume control issues). She's often commented on how girly his handmade dresses are and joked about his "emo-phase rocker look."

Ruby Leatherson- Though they primarily share a close relationship, Ruby also believes that all Techno Trolls are cowardly wimps and that all Funk Trolls (save for Cooper, who was raised by Pop Trolls) are physically frail (from over-reliance on their technology). Leather hasn't seen much evidence to the contrary of the latter, but after befriending Laguna, she finds the Techno stereotype "just embarrassing."

Nova Swift- The Hard Rock designer harbors a fiery enmity towards the Pop trendsetter and actively ignores the trends that Nova declares. Nova, on the other hand, thinks she and Leather have plenty in common and that they could potentially be partners.

Lownote Jones- Lownote may be the coolest Troll alive, but even he has his detractors... and that includes Leather. What does she have against him? Well, the fact that he's a trendsetter (unintentionally, as a consequence of his coolness) is bad enough, but he also gave her the nickname "Lacey" (which she considers even worse than Nancy) when he saw her wearing a light-blue and white lace dress (her nightgown).

Silky- Silky is Leather's beloved pet Kitty Critter who rips holes in her works... at her request. She tends to dote on Silky when she's not working on her creations.

Skills and Abilities: She has normal Troll abilities, as well as the abilities of her tribe.

Fashion- Leather always creates her designs without care of what others will think of the appearance. Despite this, her outfits are widely considered masterpieces. Ruby chalks this up to the fact that "Nancy was gifted with a pair of dexterous hands and a way with measurements."

Music- She plays rhythm guitar in her band (along with providing lead vocals) and is the fastest guitar-shredder in Rock Hollow. Leather always performs a front flip or somersault (usually one-handed) before smashing a guitar.

Sports- Leather is an arm-wrestling champion and has a blue belt in Rockerate. She's also fond of bouldering (harness-free rock-climbing) and lava-surfing, as well as experienced in cheerleading.

Intelligence- Leather is actually quite interested in and knowledgeable about classic Rock history, and as mentioned before, she's great with measurements. Of course, she also has a really bad sense of direction, getting lost even in familiar areas.

Etymology: Leather is a type of fabric, befitting a fashion designer.

Trivia: -She always gives strong, bone-crushing hugs, though they're not as bad as Cloud Guy's.
