Talking Blue's Clues With You!

Hey, guys. Remember when I had the idea of Lola (Josh's grandmother) getting a blind, ivory-colored puppy? Well, what if instead, she got a quadrupedal, mint-green kitten with a fluffy, fox-like tail, a silver prosthetic leg, and a short, silver scarf? Her name could be Minty, and she and Blue might be like cousins.

Speaking of Lola, she'd have to show up if Blue's Clues & You! ever had an episode centered around Josh's birthday (which could air on Joshua Dela Cruz's actual birthday). Like "Joe's Surprise Party," the house residents might throw Josh a surprise party (maybe with help from Lola, Joe, and Steve), with Blue intent on giving Josh his own stuffie as a gift (just like he gave her Polka Dots). The big Blue's Clues question: what kind of stuffie?

I also think that Rainbow Puppy might want to form a band with Blue on the drums, Magenta on tambourine, Periwinkle on bass guitar, Minty on the piano/keyboard, Josh on acoustic guitar, and Rainbow Puppy herself on lead vocals and lead guitar. The band's name? The Paw Stars.

Would it be weird of me to believe that Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper both proposed to each other at the exact same time? No doubt Paprika would consider that fact (and any other time she sees her parents being romantic) adorable! She could also be best friends with Vinaigrette (y'know, Mr. Oil and Mrs. Vinegar's daughter), along with Basil (my OC son for Mr. Oregano). Additionally, Paprika, along with Cinnamon, would've definitely learned French (along with more than a few recipes) from their parents, with Cinnamon even coming up with a special breakfast recipe for the twins: ABC Oatmeal. It consists of his parents' homemade oatmeal mixed with fresh applesauce (skins included), mashed bananas, and cinnamon (he might also add some honey just for sweetness).

Another little headcanon I've got: similar to his actor in real life, Josh might've started learning Brazilian jui-jitsu (or some other martial arts) when he was a kid or teenager, and he'd still practice it in the present day. However, unlike the actor, Josh might keep this side of him a secret due to not wanting to be seen as a brute, especially by his friends. As for why he took it up in the first place, he probably thought that Brazilian jui-jitsu (or the other martial art) was a style of dancing.

Can anyone else imagine Sidetable Drawer being mistaken for a footstool or footrest? I feel like at least one person (or larger table) might either use her as one or tell her that she looks like one. I'm not sure whether that statement would make her feel flattered or hurt (probably the latter, since she's meant to be a table), but I like to believe that she'd be sturdy enough to withstand the pressure of an adult human standing (or laying their feet) on her. It would definitely scuff the varnish, though (wait, does Sidey even wear varnish?).

Also, I've got a feeling that Blue's Clues & You! is definitely gonna have a Western-themed episode at some point in the future, with Blue playing the sheriff and Josh as her singing, guitar-playing deputy. Mailbox would either return as Cowbox (from the Season 3 Halloween episode) or dress like a pony as a tribute to The Pony Express, and we'd play Blue's Clues to figure out Sheriff Blue's favorite Western game. Such an episode could feature country versions of the usual songs, with Mailtime sung to the tune of "She'll Be Comin' 'Round the Mountain." Before finding the last clue, the two might help out a cowgirl/ranch owner, who'd thank Deputy Josh by kissing him on the cheek. That would leave Deputy Josh blushing in embarrassment, especially since it was "right in front of the puppy."

Of course, these are all just my (probably pretty silly) ideas. What do y'all think? Please let me know in the comments below!
