Appearance: Dottie's very short for her age, which, along with the freckles dotted all over her fair skin, often lead to her being mistaken for a 7-year-old. She also has auburn hair in a Short Bob and amber eyes. As for attire, she typically wears a Camp Curry Casual Tee under a Navy Knitted Parka, as well as an Orange Pleated Miniskirt, Navy High Socks, Hiking Boots (or Yellow Casual Trainers), a Red Scally Cap, and a Dynamax Band with a Wishing Star (only in Dynamax and Gigantamax Battles). She carries around an Expedition Travel Bag.

Personality: Dottie's main philosophy in life is "there are many things in life that can only be learned by going out and living it." That being said, she still greatly values an education, which is why she takes online classes during her journey.

She's usually quite polite towards those with whom she interacts (which is why she never turns down a Battle), but also gets rather feisty and sassy when set off, whether it's being underestimated (in age, intelligence, or skill), bringing up her secret sweet tooth, or someone making fun of her height.

Skills: Don't be fooled by her small size or childish appearance- Dottie's actually quite a formidable opponent. Her strategies make frequent use of her academic knowledge and allow her to find patterns in her opponent's tactics and use them to her advantage.

She's also skilled in cooking, having frequently done so with her grandmum and Cremdala (the family Alcremie) and making Curry whenever she sets up camp. She refuses to ever use Packaged Curry ("culinary cheating") or Instant Noodles (too cheap/low-quality), and if a Curry recipe calls for prepared food (a Boiled Egg, Fried Food, or Precooked Burger), she insists on making it herself ahead of time.

Biography: Growing up in Wedgehurst, Dottie had always idolized Professor Magnolia and her studies on Dynamax. She jumped to begin her journey due to wanting to see Dynamax (and Gigantamax) for herself, as well as explore the other regions.

At 6 years old, Dottie entered her favorite dessert (Victini Sponge Cake) into a cook-off, but one of the judges refused to taste it because "[it was] just a heap of empty calories put together by a baby." Dottie's kept her love for sweets a secret ever since.

Relationships: Julia Dawson- Dottie's always been extremely close with her grandmum, especially when it comes to cooking. Julia's still holding a grudge against that judge who humiliated her granddaughter.

Sonia- With her idolization of Professor Magnolia, it only makes sense that Dottie would become friends with the Galarian scientist's granddaughter.

Oleana- Dottie's impressed by the Dynamax Band invention and thinks that "Chairman Rose does NOT deserve her."

Pepper- Dottie and Pepper both have a brother-sister-like relationship, but the dynamic has somewhat changed as Pepper evolved: as a Scorbunny, he was like a hyperactive (and sometimes annoying) little brother; his Raboot phase had him acting like his Trainer's aloof, sarcastic (even when he agreed) same-age brother; and after evolving into a Cinderace, Pepper now treats Dottie like a little sister and is fiercely protective of her (due to a run-in with a rather cutthroat Gym Leader leaving her poisoned).

Gabrielle- Dottie loves Gabby's kind heart, but doesn't think she should go giving away all her best ideas. She'll happily accept recipe suggestions, though.
