Appearance: Crystal's coat is crystal-blue with amethyst-purple fetlocks and a chalcedony-blue horn with a lavender zigzag pattern, but she usually appears dark-gray and scruffy due to getting covered in dust, with her dark-silver hooves sometimes having gems stuck to them (which she never notices). Her long mane and tail are both the color of rose quartz and usually full of rocks. Her eyes are purple, gleam like opals, and each have a single eyelash. Over them, she wears a pair of glasses with light-gold frames and small crystals on the rim edges. She also carries an emerald-green bag with blue stones on it.

When using her magic, she emits a powder-blue aura with opalescent specks.

When she's out spelunking for samples, Crystal wears a pair of silver goggles with dark-green lenses (which she's dubbed her "spelunking specs") while carrying a plain bag the color of smoky quartz.

Personality: Crystal is quite shy and timid around other ponies... unless there's a discussion of geological matters, in which case she chimes in with gusto.

Despite her Fluttershy-like demeanor, Crystal can be pretty adventurous (especially when there's a learning opportunity) and is never afraid to get dirty.

Likes: Tea (especially lavender), oat milk, whole grains, adventure, studying rocks and crystals, rock music (due to her brother being a rocker), spelunking, discussing geology, honesty, true beauty, calming activities

Dislikes: Others focusing on her, dust in her throat, losing her glasses, cave-ins, dishonesty, anything fake, being pampered, beating around the bush, dirt on the lenses of her glasses, the taste of coffee

Relationships: Jasper Quartz- Despite being the younger sibling, Jasper is fiercely protective of Crystie. The best way to make an enemy out of this rocker Unicorn is to bully or harass his sister (or make "vapid, shallow pop ear-worms"). Crystie finds this somewhat embarrassing at times, but she knows that he does it because he cares about her.

Sunny Starscout- Crystal has a pretty good relationship with the earth-pony-turned-alicorn, with the geologist enjoying Sunny's all-new tea-infused smoothies.

Izzy Moonbow- Izzy was the first of the Mane 5 to meet Crystal. The energetic unicorn wandered into some underground caves in search of crystals for a project, when she came across the shy geologist, who helped her to find the crystals she needed (and might've opened up a little from the experience).

Zipp Storm- The two enjoy discussing geological hypotheses while also sharing stories about their respective younger siblings.

Pipp Petals- Crystal was initially quite nervous about interacting with Princess Pipp due to having been bullied by plenty of ponies similar in popularity and beauty (plus she was rather dirty from gathering test samples). Pipp, on the other hoof, immediately wanted to give the poor mare a makeover... which Crystal herself found surprisingly comfortable.

Hitch Trailblazer- Due to his careful and determined nature, Crystal's come to see Hitch as a second brother.

Posey Bloom- They got off on a rocky start, but they still get along.

Skills: Intricate geological knowledge, immense physical strength (from always digging by hoof, carrying her samples, and handling Jasper's equipment), intelligence (academic and emotional), knowledge on traveling (as well as love and trauma)

Trivia: -Crystal has autism and is demisexual.

-She's allergic to dandelions.

-Blushing makes her horn glow, and it happens quite easily.

-Her fetlocks provide some protection to her hooves, so they don't get as dirty.

-In the series, she'd probably be voiced by Britt McKillip, Ingrid Nilson, or Meg Roe.
