I waited and waited, I didn't hear anything about Masky. Our adopted son tugged on my jacket, "When will daddy come home?" I smiled and he ran off. I got up and walked around the small village. Everyone was grieving about their beloved soldiers not coming back, not even a message from them. I walked to the forest where I first confessed my love to Masky.

I went to the spot and saw a note and, Masky's mask. I grabbed it and read the messenge:
"Dear Elizabeth,
We have won and lost, I almost made it back home but I learned that I was also part of that Glitch. I am sorry that I worried you, I am sorry for letting you take of our child alone. This wasn't what is supposed to happen, but I can't control everything. I enjoyed how much I spent with you. You can nickname him as Alex, I can accept that and I hope he does. I am sorry..."

I cried and felt the grass grew where my tears feel, maybe that's where she died. I went back and some noticed me carrying Masky's mask and entering inside my home. "Have you seen, papa?" I sat down, "Papa is dead." He went down and cried, "I was so excited to see him! But he's gone?!" I comforted him and handed him his fathers mask. "Papa loves to wear this mask a lot, I'm the only one to see his face." He hugged the mask and fell asleep on my lap. So it's just up to me, reading a bunch of unfinished paperwork of Masky. I gave everyone the news and everyone comforted me about Masky. I'll just have to continue what he had worked on. A Potion, that can bring him back to life.... just need to find the ingredients.
