Made out of the jewel they're named after. Can breathe out the jewel they are made of in precision with their breath they create their homes also its one of there weapons. They're mostly a peaceful tribe considering they haven't met any other tribes. Very sharp and tough talons. Their animus dragons never go bad for some weird reason that is unknown to the outer tribes. They are also afraid of water since they are too heavy to float.

Can breathe their jewel out to create structures and sometimes very fine jewelry. Can also breathe out a superheated vapor when high adrenaline levels are present.

U n i q u e    F e a t u r e s

Varying scale toughness depending on what gem they are based on. Ex: if it is based on a diamond its scales cannot be scratched and thus it cannot be injured, but if it's based on flourite it scratches easily compared to diamond. (even though I say easily it still is difficult for it to be injured by normal tribe dragons. They usually cannot be hurt by any other dragon's claws other than a Jewelwing's own claws.)

They don't have front legs but instead a second set of wings that they use as legs and sometimes to glide short distances. (They are bit bigger than in the picture)

A spine of crystals go down their necks and they have a few crystals on the tips of their tails. They are usually kept very shiny and are a sign of vanity among both genders. The crystals are actual parts of a Jewelwings skeleton.

The skeleton of Jewelwing is made of diamond no matter what gem they are based on.
