Ryujin like his older brother, Sanji, was protected from his father's experiments that he did on their mother while she was pregnant.

However, he was only partially saved and had all the same physical abilities as his other siblings.

Ryujin was just lucky enough to have his emotions intact, though it did come with a slight price.

Ryujin was born a girl but wasn't ever comfortable as a girl.

Being a few years younger than the quadruplets, Ryujin use to follow Sanji around everywhere.

So, Sanji was the first person Ryujin told about wanting to be a boy, and he was 100 present supportive of his baby brother.

However, Ryujin's other brothers didn't support him and would bully him for it.

After Sanji disappeared, Ryujin was left on his own to fight off the older boys and his father.

Though after a few years things seemed to be alright, however, that wasn't the case.

Ryujin was forced to fight alongside his brothers and sister at a young age, he thought this was his father's way of punishing him.

Ryujin was seen as the weakest of all the Vinsmoke children, however, this wasn't the case.

He was waiting for Sanji to return for him as he promised years ago, and he could have been happier when that day happened.

However, things don't go as he and Sanji thought they would when they were kids.
