The effectiveness of her quirk also relies on the level of one's willpower, so if one has high willpower it's harder for her to stop their quirk, but if low she can stop it with no problem.

Backstory

Shizuka Shimura might have been born first between her and Tomura, but she needed the most protection growing up.

Shizuka was always getting picked on because her quirk showed up late and others thought she would be quirkless.

Unlike Tomura, her quirk came in the night after their father had forced Tomura to use his quirk to save the both of them.

Shizuka had hugged Tomura after he decayed their Father and they both were surprised when he touched her arm that nothing happened.

She decided that night she need to work hard to help her brother and herself survive as they were left behind by everyone that passed them.

Now 20, Shizuka and Tomura have their own little family with the villain of all villains, All For One.

She has also changed a lot over the years and has a few scars from saving her brother from trouble.

Shizuka has also lost her voice over the years and has a new fear of fire, however, could one of the new guys who seems to watch her a lot slightly change that fear and maybe fall for Shizuka along the way.
